Lily's is moving forward after her break up with Alfie. Her journey continues through some extremely emotional times during key events, as she becomes more self- assured and begins to develop as an performing artist. It isn't easy for Lily to forget Alfie because of circumstances with Alfie's life. However, Lily is tortured by constant reminders of their time together, and this does little for her resolve to move on.
Although, Lily has made her choice, it is also tinged with sadness. Her love for Alfie remains strong, and she fights a constant internal battle, between loving him and loving her music. Lily thinks it's impossible to have both. A fabulous opportunity arises for Lily, but there is a possibility of this bringing her face to face with Alfie again. Can Lily cope with the emotional turmoil this would bring her? Or, is the risk of seeing Alfie something she feels able to manage now?
Musically, Lily concentrates her efforts much more, which brings success, post Alfie. Through this, she finds friends in some of the most unlikely of circumstances. All of her friends continue to protect her, and are all well aware of the impact Lily's relationship with Alfie has had on her. All apart from Elle, who gives Lily food for thought. Although, Lily's mind is still plagued with memories of Alfie, which continues to impact on her to such an extent, Lily has been unable to form new romantic ties. Professionally, her relationships couldn't be better. She is offered some amazing opportunities rarely available, and is determined to do make the most of them. This is especially important to her, given the sacrifices she has made in the past to do this.
Will Lily's music be enough for her, and prove to be everything she ever wanted?

I've come to the conclusion after reading this trilogy that I prefer character-based novels rather than plot based. Not that the plot is much good in this series.
I continued to the end because I hate to give up on a series.
I can say the spelling and grammar was much better in this book than the previous two.
Two stars.
At the time of posting this trilogy is available on Kindle Unlimited.

It has been a beautiful weekend, but I haven’t managed to get out in the sunshine. I had lots of housework to catch up on this weekend, but I didn’t manage that either. What have I been doing? Reading of course. But it was worth it, to finish the third book in the Everything Series from Author KL Shandwick. What an absolutely fabulous finale, I am going out tomorrow to hunt the streets for my very own Alfie; he is my idea of what every man should be like. The wit and angst of this series kept me enthralled, the sexy scenes made me blush on my way to work, and there were times when my jaw gaped. I can’t say too much about the story, but it is a roller coaster of a read. Not like other books in that sometimes you expected one thing to happen and the author took it in yet another direction. The only way I can highlight how good this book is to tell you, I became so emotionally involved with the characters, I actually cried at one of the chapters in this book. I recommend this series to everyone out there, who wants a temporary escape from real life.
Wow! I absolutely loved this series!! This last book in the trilogy once again had me hooked from start to finish, as you can see i read it in a day! Both Lily and Alfie have grown up more and matured in this book i feel. Both are successful in their music careers, Alfie is well known everywhere with Lily and her band XrAid up and coming and successful in their own right. They have been apart for a long time now but you can see, from when they meet each other again, that they are still very much in love. I loved reading about all the gang again too, a lot of laughs from Jack as usual and a lot of emotions too, even had a few tears at one point! A lot happens in this, i won't give anything away, but suffice to say the ending was perfect! So romantic and very happy! I'd have loved an epilogue though, but that's only because i want to read more about Lily and Alfie lol A shame that is it for them now but can't wait to read more from KL! A brilliant series and i highly recommend it!!
Wow! Wow! Wow! I didn't think anything could beat the second book in this trilogy but KL Shandwick you've managed to do it again! I feel I could read on and on about Alfie and Lily (not forgetting Jack!). I found myself swapping sides throughout this trilogy from team Lily to team Alfie then swapping back over but this book has finally connected my love for them both. With so many twists and tribulations it was hard to gain control of my emotions and I'm so sad to come to the end of such a fantastic trilogy. Congratulations KL for once again delivering a fantastic book, your originality is phenomenal! You have gained a fan for life! Thank you for sharing your story.
"My feelings for you are even stronger than at the height of what we had. You are the first thing I think about every single day, Lily." Alfie Black
If a guy like Alfie Black said those word to me, I would have melted into a puddle at his feet. But, Lily Parnell has a very strong will because after that, she pushes Alfie away.
The first thing I want to tell you about The Everything Series, if you haven't read the first two books, get them ASAP. It's an amazing New Adult story by K.L. Shandwick.
I'm giving you an abbreviated tour of book one Enough Isn't Everything and two Everything She Needs because you really have to read them. I literally finished the series in three (ok four) days. It's just that good.
Lily and Alfie met at university in Miami. Lily, a music student, in the U.S. from London is a stunningly gorgeous girl, who has no clue how amazing she is. Her dating life has been limited and her sex life is beyond vanilla....then she meets Alfie.
The description of Alfie is one of perfection. I've never been more humanly attracted to a fictional character (ok, fib number two, but come on, I'm all about book boyfriends). Anyway Lily meets Alfie on her first day wandering around the university campus. She is mesmerized by him. Alfie must be insanely attracted to Lily too because what he propositions her with is hotness of epic proportions. What's even crazier is Lily accepts this proposition.
Here's the thing....Alfie promises her an amazing ride...but straight out tells her he'll never be in love with her. Books one and two focus on their relationship and their separate rises to musical fame.
Book three is Everything I Want and it's really about Lily doing her and trying to move on from the heartache Alfie Black has caused her. When we last saw them, they had an amazing night together and yet Alfie leaves a sleeping Lily and flies off to record with his band Crakt Soundzz. Alfie's the lead singer and his band is about to blow up.
In Everything I Want Lily gets her own band. Lily is the lead singer of XrAID and with her band of seriously hot, yet protective bandmates, stunning Lily feels safe and is embarking on what promises to be a once in a lifetime experience. Only guess what? Lily can't get over Alfie (I don't think any female could get over Alfie Black).
Because of the musical direction their lives are going, Lily and Alfie cross paths again. At this point Alfie is trying to get Lily back and Lily can't let herself fall back into the same place with Alfie, but their chemistry is so damn hot, you can feel it through the pages. She knows Alfie will ruin her and does her best to stay away.
Did I mention that at this point they're both with other people? Lily's trying to move on but no one does it for her like Alfie. And Alfie? He makes it loud and clear Lily is all he wants.
I must say Lily is supremely strong because I would have hoped back on the Alfie train at the beginning of the book. But Lily is afraid. Alfie's made so many promises that he's broken. Plus the life of a rock star is not something that bodes well for this relationship. You know sometimes they say, love isn't always enough. That's where Lily is. She feels she can't let Alfie back in. Alfie is very persistent in his quest to win Lily back.
By the way, I forgot to mention book two has a holy hell plot twist, that you won't see coming. And be prepared in Everything I Want for another plot twist that blew me out of the water!
I need to mention, Lily has a fabulous bunch of friends. They're loving and supportive and even a little tough with her when they have to be. Her very best friend Jack can have his own book. He is hilarious and his relationship with Lily is just adorable.
I give Everything I Want a five lip smack review. The stories are everything you could ask for. Hot main characters, blazing hot sex, a really cool storyline and some WTF plot twists.
I freakin love Alfie Black. He is right now, my number one book boyfriend this year. Alfie if you see this....call me! ;)
I love Alfie Black! He's up there with my other favorite male rockstars, Jack Lair and Kellan Kyle. I was worried that most of this book would revolve around Alfie and Lily doing the push and pull dance because Lily was always holding herself back from Alfie. Not to worry, because while there was some of that, there's plenty of Alfie and Lily just being the real Alfie and Lily around each other. Their first encounters were based on an arrangement barring any emotions and very little knowledge about one another and it takes some time to break down those barriers from the first book to the third book, but Alfie persists and Lily gives in. As much as I enjoyed Lily's character, I did wish she would not have ran away from Alfie so often when he was trying to communicate with her, but I can't blame her either because that may have been her biggest flaw that she had to overcome and she eventually did. Lily hadn't intended to be selfish with the way all of her friends had to be considerate of her by not mentioning Alfie's name or talking about her to Alfie. However, Lily realizes that she has to put her music and band ahead of her own personal interests but sometimes those interests don't have to be mutually exclusive. Also, Lily discovers that while making music is her dream in life, there's room for other fulfillment like being around the people she loves and that one guy has always held her heart no matter what, because she is helpless to escape those feelings. If she is determined to be happy, she has to proactively make that choice and put her heart first despite the distance. Alfie steps it up more than before this time, determined to not let Lily go ever again. He makes up for all of his mistakes. For someone who didn't do hearts and flowers romance or express himself much in the first book, Alfie is all poetry and beautiful monologues this time. There is no limit to what Alfie would do to keep Lily as his, he doesn't even hesitate to make decisions regarding her because she is his first priority, unlike Lily who has to ponder over the situation at length and weigh the different sides. There is more of Jack and Lily's bandmates, who are all incredible people and really look after Lily in a protective and loving way. Music will always be a part of Lily's life but after a few clustered events with consequences, she sees more clearly that she can make do without the music even if it's temporary, but she can't fathom the thought of not having Alfie at her side ever. The ending was absolutely perfect in Alfie and Lily style.
Im so sad this Trilogy has come to an end. But I felt it was the perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. And it will not be the ending everyone expects trust me.
This book starts nearly 2 years after Alfie and Lily went there separate ways. Lily has found a new found freedom and Life without Alfie. She tries to put all her heart and soul into her band XrAid but there is always part of her heart and soul with Alfie she cant quite take back from him. And she cannot shake that feeling away.
She tries to move on, and her brothers from the band love and protect her as one of her own. The relationship she has with them is HOT. I loved the young carefree banter between all of them, I felt this is where she was a star in her own right her true personality came through when she was with them. Just when she thinks her life is planning out for her, her path crosses once again with Alfie. And all her old feelings come crashing back and smacks her in the chest, where it hurts the most, her heart.
Throughout this book my feelings for Alfie as a reader grew immensely I just wanted him to tell her with all his heart how he felt. I wanted her to let him talk to her. In some way I felt sorry for him. All he wanted was a life with his Music and Lily. But Lily didn't want to give up her dreams.
Alfie tries with all his heart to win Lily's heart back, but she is determined to put obstacles in the way for the both of them. Not being able to trust herself or him.
Just when you think things are back on track for the both of them a freak accident tears them apart again. Can this one final act of fate pull them apart forever, can they ever be together and have there Happily Ever After, what they both deserve?? For Alfies sake I hope so. He is my new Book Boyfriend. Everything I Want
Lily is trying to continue to move forward in her life with her music career. Even after 2 years she still struggles with the things that remind her of Alfie.
Just when Lily thinks/hopes she will never see Alfie again an opportunity of a lifetime for her band XrAid comes around. With this opportunity there is a very good possibility that she will come face to face with Alfie once again. Her band members do what they can to protect her from going down that tortured path again, but Alfie is persistent. As soon as Lily sees Alfie all those feelings she had pushed deep down comes rushing back to the surface.
Alfie is determined to make Lily his, he knows he messed up in the passed but he wants another chance. This time he will prove he is worthy of her love and trust. He wants to do right by Lily by being patient and understanding of her life goals. If he can get another chance with Lily, will he be able to do right by her this time?
Lily wants her music career, no matter if it comes between her and Alfie. One of her best friends gives her a piece of her mind about her choices, and it doesn't sit to well with Lily. Can she have her music career and Alfie?
This is an amazing ending to a fantastic trilogy. I felt for both Lily and Alfie throughout the book, sometimes I thought Lily was going about their relationship wrong and other times I was seriously ticked off at Alfie. This series has everything I love in a books, hot sexual tension, heartbreak, lots of male hotness, and love. The way this trilogy wrapped up was perfect. Highly recommend!
I was provided a copy of the books in this trilogy in exchange for an honest review as part of Beautifully Broken Book Blog. During this final book of The Everything Trilogy, Lily feels that her life is finally moving on without Alfie. It hasn't been easy, but her band is keeping her busy and is coming more successful. She has even begun to see someone. At the same time, Alfie's band has been signed and is one of the most popular bands. Lily constantly sees publicity of Alfie and his girlfriend. After several occasions Alfie is finally able to convince Lily to hear him out about his feelings for her. The two admit that the love each other and that the people they have been seeing are merely keeping them company. However, Lily and Alfie are both becoming successful musicians and the author keeps you guessing on whether love is enough to keep the two together without either of them giving up on their lifelong dreams. I thought the first two books were full of many ups and downs, but they have nothing on the emotional decisions that Lily is forced to make in this final book. By the time I got to this book, I felt like I was so emotionally attached to the characters in this trilogy and was rooting for everything to work out for the best. At times I hated Alfie and Lily both for the mistakes they made and the heartache they caused each other. The author had me crying, laughing, and cussing many times throughout this trilogy and I would highly recommend it to others and will most likely read it again.

The third and final part of the everything trilogy was perfection, It starts off about two years after the second book ends with Lily graduating college and XrAid get signed for a record deal by Alfie's record label. Lily's life is starting to take off she's getting everything she has worked so hard for and what she pushed Alfie away for.
She finds out Elle her best friend is getting married to Drew, Alfie's best friend so she tries to make a truce with Alfie since they will be in close proximity of one another and will need to work together. Lily is seeing a man named Luca and Alfie a woman named Zoe, so I'm sure from there you can see the problems that arise from two people who are madly in love with each other.
I love the ending to this trilogy I felt like we got to know more about Lilly's band mates, and about her friends and parents, And we get to see her shine and do something she loves. And we finally see what happens to her and Alfie's relationship and where the world will finally take them, it had an excellent closing. I give this novel 5 stars all the way!
I have just finished the best book in the trilogy by K.L. Shandwick. "Everything I Want" is the perfect title for this wonderful story. I so enjoyed watching Lily mature and her career take off. The twists and turns of her love life and her music just wouldn’t let me put the book down. I loved the interaction of the friends she found during her years in college. Friends like that are friends for life. Speaking of friends-Jack had to be the best friend any person could ask for. Lucky Lily!! Lily had so many ups and downs with Alfie during their courtship and their love of their individual bands. What strength she had to pursue her music career--something she had always dreamed of. And Alfie’s band had already reached success. She had a lot of faith in her band, and they were so well received. The best twists came at the end of the book. I can’t give away the ending, but it is well worth waiting for. I can’t wait to read more books by K.L. Shandwick.
Sometimes love isn't enough. That is the way I would sum up my feelings on this book. I think I asked myself that question time and time again reading it.
Lily & Alfie's story continues here. They are both grown and successful musicians who appear to have moved on with their lives but it's there..you know that thing that keeps pulling them back to each other.
They have both made mistakes, caused each other heartache and have just drug us readers through the mud with their relationship. But looking back at all the things they put us through and each other ..it was worth it to be a part of their journey and see where it ended.
So now I am told there is another book coming out. Alfies POV and I am prepared to read it and have my heartstrings played with again by these two.
KL Shandwick..wonderful series. So glad I got to read these and FINALLY Review them. I loved them and you did a fantastic job.
I am so happy for these characters as they find their way through life. Love the sexual tension...the sex too! Of course I'm sad that this is the end of the series, but I'm absolutely positive that there is something fabulous waiting in the wings! I forgot to mention, the men in this book are HOT!! That's a crucial detail!! This will go on my must read list!! Enjoy!!
I can't say that I've been a fan of this series. The first book showed some potential but by the end of this one I really didn't care about the characters. Very little happened in the majority of this book, Alfie and Lily are still on the same merry go round of will they get together again or not. The final thirty pages or so pick up a little and then it finished quite abruptly. All three books could've been condensed into one.
I reviewed these book all together because well they deserve the full raiting then me getting frustrated with being left hanging a little. So This is for all three books in the trilogy Loved Alfie But Not a big fan of Lily!! These three stories were simply frustrating and amazing all in one. I wanted to scream because I felt like Lily kept giving up early and to fast. This stories was about row beautiful souls brought together when they least expected it and found a connection most people look for all their lives. Book 1 about hurt my heart because I felt like lily was giving up so quickly the. Book two it just continued to get worse.for me. Don't get me wrong this was a totally amazing story between two beautiful people that were made each other. Problem was book 1 and 2 didn't allow any happiness like that was a lot of pain and heart ache and both struggling to find their true hearts. They both made you cry for Alfie and want to slap around lily a little because I really felt like she was just giving up to easy. Alfie had his own set of issues but he was truly in love with lily at least to me that's how it was showing. He tried to be be what she needed, but what person is perfect. These book offered you a lot of drama, tears, heartache, regret, and the. Some smoking hot sexy scenes. It was amazing how k.l. Shandwick made this couples chemistry come off the pages made you get the child just from words. The question is does Lily and Alfie finally end up together ?? Od do they end up with different paths in their lives? I am writing this review together because I did truly love this series. It made me cry and frustrated then I was super happy by then end. So give it the chance it deserves I am giving the three books the same rating which gives 2 of them 1 star higher!! Book 1 and 2 would of been a 4 for me But With reading the final book it would of been a 5
I have purposely left it a few days after finishing this book before I left a review because to be totally honest I needed a few days to get my head clear. A book hangover has took me over an refuses to loosen its grip. I absolutely loved the first two books in this trilogy and I really did think that the third book would just tie up the story so wasn't really expecting to be took on such an emotional ride yet again. The story of Lily and Alfie could be described as a beautifully written tale of wrong passion.
Wrong because the wrong place wrong timing seems to play a huge part in the way their relationship evolves and passion because well I could literally feel the desire and want radiating from my kindle as I read.
I love how the author weaves a copious amount of characters together so the story is not solely centred around the main couple. This author shows through her writing that many factors and many people have an affect and influence on the design of other peoples lives. For me many of the characters were people and personalities in their own right I never once found a character just written in to be "a fill in character" .
With music laced in the trilogy through out the 3 books I have found myself creating a playlist of songs that were either mentioned within the books or I associated with Lily and Alfie's journey, this gives me feel of the story is still alive even though the last chapter has been read :)
To think this is the authors first trilogy is mind blowing because she writes with such finesse and natural flow you would think she had many years of experience under her belt. Bravo KL Shandwick for a truly amazing story it's been a pleasure to enjoy your work , thankyou.
If after reading this review your still on the fence as to whether to buy it all I can say is yes do download it. Go get your one-clicky-itis on you will not be disappointed :)

This is the third and final part of the everything trilogy, the story begins about two years after the second book ends with Lily graduating college and XrAid get signed for a record deal by Alfie's record label. Lily's has grown up in this story, we see a more assertive and mature person, things are definitely coming into shape for her and finally all the sacrifices are starting to pay off, everything that she has had to leave behind or put in second place will finally be obtainable. The relationship with her band mates is solidifying and they are becoming a family, however even though Lilly and Alfie apparently have moved on, destiny keeps throwing them into the mix, the chemistry between these two is undeniable and you can't wait to see them have the happily ever after they so deserve.
I feel KL Shandwick has produced one of the best romantic/musical trilogies out there, with the constant musical references and imaginative settings its hard sometimes to remember it is only a work of fiction, I got so engrossed in the drama that I totally would love to be a real life Alfie Black groupie!! The dialogues are exceptionally well delivered, we must remember the amount of different characters taking part in this story and KL has made each one individually perfect, with the potential to perhaps one day each having their own story and thus making these fabulous series to own, and lets not forget about the interaction and encounters between our lovely couple, so much passion it will keep your heart beating even after reading.
This was my favourite book in the trilogy, only because we get to see a glimpse into Alfie's side too, preparing us for his own POV, since reading the trilogy the author has released Alfie's book and it promises to be a fantastic read! Well done KL Shandwick!
I have to say I couldn't wait to read this book. Alfie and Lily's love story had me from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down. In book 3 of this trilogy Alfie and Lily are both having success in their careers and find their way back to each other and give their relationship one more chance. Their love, romance and sex is hotter then ever, then fate steps in once more for this couple. Will Alfie and Lily get their happy ending or not ? This Trilogy is a must read, you wont be disappointed.
It deserves more then 5 Stars !! Well Done K.L. Shandwick I can't wait to read more from this awesome author!!
5 ROCKING stars and a standing ovation with screams for an encore for this book !! K.L gave me "Everything I Wanted" in this book. It really was THAT BRILLIANT !! Not only did we see both Alfie and Lily's groups hit the bigtime even further but we saw them progress as a couple too. Yes they had some bumpy roads in this book too and along with the tears i shed for them both i also had plenty of laughs at their expense too. This was definitely my favourite of the series and i'd love for K.L to give them a novella **sits in praying position** .
This book was my favourite. I'm glad Lily came to her senses and made an actual decision for once and stuck to it. Written superbly and with truck loads of emotional elements, while reading I went through a range of emotions from wanting to shout, scream and rip my hair out in frustration to sobbing my heart out in agony to pure unadulterated love for these characters and their lives.

I have happily read the first two books of this series (Enough Isn’t Everything & Everything She Needs) so it is no secret I was VERY much looking forward to reading the third and final installment of this trilogy. This book develops the success of Lily’s band, XrAid, rise to success. Juggling between performing in Miami and coping with the end of her relationship with Alfie. Events force Lily to grow up leaving behind her wayward decision making that led her down a questionable path straining friendships and relationships along the way. As time passes, Lily begins to heal and even begins dating someone new. New of Alfie’s band, Crakt Soundzz rise to super stardom brings puts her feelings to the test when she finds out he too is dating someone new. Their paths cross and we finally see Alfie express how he feels about Lily. XrAid gets signed and begins touring, crossing Lily and Alfie’s paths once again. The feelings are there. The love is there but like most instances in life, timing is off. But in the end, love always prevails. K.L. Shandwick grew as an author with each book in this series. Don’t get me wrong, I loved her style of writing 3% into of Enough Isn’t Everything. That's how soon I knew! Imagine my surprise how her style evolved making me go from loving her to fangirling status. This tells me she takes her craft seriously and there is no greater gift to a reader than a frickin’ awesome, well written book! I’m sad to say farewell to all the characters she created and wish more spinoffs are in the making. I loved Jack! This author has gained a fan for life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a nitty gritty, no nonsense rock star romance. The sex is amazing too! Very much looking forward to reading Love with Every Beat which is Alfie’s Point of View of all three books of the Everything Series. *claps excitedly* Five Gibson Guitars for Ms. Shandwick. Brava.
I was blown away by the last two books in the everything trilogy but this would have to be my favorite. .. alfie finally won me over ,its been a love hate since the beginning but im won over. kl shandwick has outdone herself. I love the unexpected suprises she folds into her books it makes for a very interesting read. I cant recommend this series enough lol. And to make it an even better experience she has playlists for each book well worth a look. throughout the entire series ive laughed, cried, jumped up and down with excitement and of course growled at the situation in some cases... if you haven't read these yet - what are you waiting for? you won't be disappointed
Yay! This trilogy has had me up and down like a yo yo, just when you think nothing else can go wrong, it really does, the story has been an amazing reading throughout, anybody thinking of reading this trilogy please do so, you will be hooked, Alfie and Lily's story is an epic read. I'm so pleased that I got to keep reading about the other characters in the book as well. Alfie is a rock god and Lily is a sexy rock chick, what a combination! the word explosive springs to mind. I will most definitely be reading more books from this Author, in my opinion that was a fantastic trilogy.
