Beautiful illustrations, and I really appreciate the sentiment the author's trying to express. Something about the text just fell short for me, especially as a picture book. The illustrations and the book's format feels directed towards children, but the text feels too abstract and philosophical for a children's book. But still, absolutely beautiful and meaningful illustrations, and a wonderful message.
