Returning To Claim His Other Half -
Piper never thought she would get another chance with her brother’s best friend, Declan, after he left town following the night they spent together. However, Declan returned years later, as he couldn’t stay away because of his feelings for Piper and he didn’t expect was to find out that she reciprocated his feeling. Unfortunately, chaos ensued when Piper’s brother Max found out about their trysts, but it also gave them the opportunity to finally acknowledge their feelings for each other.

I started reading this book just as I went to bed, thinking I would finish reading it the next day, but I was so engrossed in the story, that I had to finish it before I could fall asleep. This was a steamy, swoon worthy story, where the descriptions of their intimate moments were so realistic, that I was squirming in my seat as I turned the pages. Take a chance a grab a copy of this book, because it will definitely be worth your while.

For a contemporary romance, I thought this book was terrific! This is my first book by Holly Jaymes & I love how the story-line flows. There is chemistry between Dante & Piper even when they were awkward teenagers, thinking it initially was puppy love blossoming into a love so much stronger between them, 6 yrs later. That kind of love doesn't always happen every day.

I believe the author can expand into a 2nd book (if she hasn't done so already) & further develop a growing relationship between these 2 characters. There is a lot of potential to making this HEA into a beautiful novel.

I really enjoyed this short quick read, a wonderful second chance romance. Declan and Piper kept quiet about their feelings and what developed between them six years ago. Now Declan is back in town, feeling guilty for sleeping with his best friends younger sister but he can't forget her. Piper is trying to forget her first love but is battling with that now that the man in question is back.
The storyline is a sweet predictable love story, but it flows well and the characters have so much emotion between them.

I am not overly fond of short stories but this one is the exception. This book is about Declan, his best friend Max and Max's sister Piper. It is about friends, family and love. Holly Jaymes has written a cohesive and concise snapshot into the world of 3 people and the changes in their relationships. Although a short read, the author has developed a well-written story with insights into the characters and she delivers a FUN (because we know Declan is still in the navy and will return to duty). If she chooses, there are endless possibilities to expand on this book.

This story is simply beautiful, heart warming, and captivating. I was taken with it from the beginning. Dante and Piper are two beautiful souls who go through hardships but end up finding each other again after six years. First loves, first experiences, first everything are always unforgettable. This author is new to me and I enjoy her writing ✍️. I recommend you read this awesome love story and if you’re a “romantic at heart ♥️ freak” like me, than you won’t be disappointed with this book.

You'll love the story of Piper and Dante. A roller coaster of emotions as their romance is reborn after six years. Well written with likable characters and an entertaining story. Chemistry that's explosive and love that has a second chance. A good story that I read as a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
