This is a new author and definitely a great first book.

The story revolves around Ethan and Regina who are next door neighbors who find love through Ethan's nieces. Ethan the bachelor/ workaholic has been tasked with taking care his three nieces for a week in the summer. Things are rocky in the beginning when he loses the youngest niece, things look up when Ethan's new neighbor Regina finds the little girl playing in her front yard. Bringing the little girl over to her new neighbor Regina discover that the oldest twin girls are here students. Regina is a kindergarten teacher during the school year and a dance teacher in the summer. Instant love happens once Regina volunteers to help Ethan for the week.

It's a really sweet story with great chemistry between the two main characters. I definitely appreciate the realistic reactions of Regina's Black family when she brings them home and even on Ethan's side of the family. They even discuss how things have changed over the years and how it's unrealistic to believe that anybody would only date within their race. Regina is strong and sweet but definitely not weak and Ethan is an alpha without the asshole qualites.

When they get into a fight (I was on Ethan's side with the fight) Regina is not afraid to admit that she was wrong.

The book ends on a sweet happily ever after. If your looking for a feel good book to read, I would check out this new author.

I'm giving this book a 4.5. The first couple chapters had a lot of little editing errors. Those errors take away from the writing.

I was NOT surprised by Ethan's sister's reveal. Her racial rants felt very archaic. I was happy that most of the rest of Ethan's family and friends only cared about his happiness. There were far too many people coincidences to be believable. The we want to stop the sale of this company that made us generational rich went on for far too long in the story.
