About the author

I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognise that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practise given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes...

My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain crosseyed.

An enjoyable mystery full of twists and turns that all came together in the end. I loved how everything was connected and how we were fed clues along the way keeping us guessing.
I enjoyed the suspense and look forward to finding out where the story goes from here.

As always with a T.G.Ayer book, I've closed this book with the satisfaction of knowing the end of another great series is at hand.
Becoming involved with Allegra Damascus in the very beginning and seeing how she's changed on her journey has been very satisfying. I love her interactions with Max, Athena and Mara. We find out her lineage and how she came to be. This book is so exciting its hard to put now.

OMGODDESS THIS BOOK IS THE BOMB! BY FAR THE STAR OF THE SERIES!
WE HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR BOOK 3, BUT IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT!

I'm not sure how, but I worked out the biggest twist to the book within 2 minutes of reading the Atlantis Storyline, but I'm not saying it's predictable by any means, I'm sure there were many who had no idea! I just have always had great intuition in working storyline s out ahead of time.

I Loved, Loved, Loved everything about this book from learning more of the history to the Pythian line, and the succession of Seers, to the evolution of character Xales. Congrats Tee, it was such a wise decision, he need some personal growth, made him more involved in this book and in ways the reader could never suspect. A brilliant twist that was very unexpected.

The physical and emotional abuse suffered by Lydia at the hands of her psychopathic husband has taken this book to a whole new level, As a reader I felt both her and Allegra's pain reading it. Another totally unexpected twist. My favourite by far in the series!
Loved too, the touch of the Roman God Of the sea to the series, I just adored Neptune and respect his self confidence and manliness admitting his previous mistakes and that he was in the wrong in regards to Allegra and the previous Pythian line and their importance to the the world.'s.
As much as I love to hate Langcourt, I love the character and the way he was written as a villain. I had been speaking of this technology to a friend recently, knowing that there is such devices in existence today and what it would be like if they got into the wrong hands of a true psychopath like Langcourt. His attempt to fake / entice man-made disasters as natural phenomenon is truly terrifying.

My only disappointment (and its minute) of Shadow Sight is that my love of this very special world and its architecture has taken a smaller backseat in this novel, but the new storylines and extensions were much more important to the overall series and considering we saw much of it in books 1 - 2.5 I totally understand. And the extended wait, but being pregnant and having a new born baby, what better reason is there to interfere with the writing process and all's forgiven!

And last but not least, I love how everything is all kept in the family line of the Pythia, if this makes no sense now, I promise it will later. Do yourself a favour and buy a copy today!
I can not recommend this book highly enough. Ms Ayer has done it again, I always look forward to the release of her novels and congratulate her on being one of my top 10 Urban Fantasy authors. I rate Shadow Sight 5⭐️ OUT OF 5⭐️, I wish I could rate it higher!

I’ve been totally caught, hook, line and sinker, and am truly addicted to T.G. Ayer’s Dark Sight novel. I gobble up not only the first two books, Dark Sight and Cursed Sight, but also Vissarion, which is really book 2.5 rather than what Kindle labels it. So now we come to Shadow Sight, either (properly) the third book or (as Amazon prefers) the fourth of the Dark Sight novels. No matter how you count it, though, this book is superb. Our wonderful heroine Allegra, the last surviving Oracle of Delphi, and her gang are still racing to head off armageddon-like disaster event while dealing with little distractions like Lord Langcourt’s attempts to kill her. It’s a great, exciting, perfectly plotted and extremely well built tale we readers get to enjoy. A fun ride in every way possible. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Shadow Sight: A Dark Sight Novel by T.G. Ayer is labeled by Amazon as Book 4, but is actually Book 3 of the Dark Sight series. (Vissarion was actually published as book 2.5) T. G. Ayer has claimed this book to be the conclusion of the Dark Sight (sight portion of the series with Langhorn) and indeed it closes all those loops, but there will be more. Further, there are already titles being tossed for the next portion of the series ( Dark Prophecy, Cursed Prophecy and Shadow Prophecy). I loved the brilliant world building and the character development skills that T. G. Ayer never fails to share with her readers. From the start of the series, the Dark Sight novels promise a stomach clenching, nerve racking adventure. In this final book, we are gifted the history and a deeper understanding of the Pythia line. T. G. Ayer delivers us into a front row seat for the truth behind the fine line of genius and madness. For me, this series was an adult version of Rick Roirdan's Gods of Olympus (Percy Jackson) with a little Minority Report thrown in. This is an excellent read that should not be missed!

What can you do when the woman you’ve sworn to protect keeps putting herself in harm’s way?

This has got to be on Max’s mind as Allegra Damascus, the newest Pythia, receives three prophesies that cannot come true, all the while searching for Langcourt so he can be stopped. With this as her goal, Max is really struggling to keep up with her and keep her safe. But, can he?

I have really loved this series and appreciate T G Ayers trusting that our reviews are honest after reading the series. Now, I’m off to re-read the whole story in hopes that although this series is over, this world is still rich for mining new books about Allegra and Max.

I enjoyed this book, as there was finally some closure on one of the "hanging bits" from the rest of the series. It was quite an interesting twist, as well :-)

Also, some of the things the main character hadn't known, but the reader had, were revealed to her, so more closure :-)

Of course, not everything is tied up in a neat bow. There are many things left to learn in this world. I look forward to seeing if some of the things that are "known" as of the end of this book change in future books in the series.

Hard to write more without spoiling the book, or the series.

WOW! That is the only word I can use to describe this one. It was fantastic! The excitement, twists and turns, drama, and danger continued to the very end. I never wanted it to end, but I also couldn't put it down. That is a dilemma I find myself in anytime I read one of T.G. Ayer's books. The story line sucked me in and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. The questions were all answered, everything was revealed, and there is still a slight opening making it a possibility that we could see these characters again. It was the perfect conclusion.

Okay....let's face it....women are simply geared to challenge me. Allegra is no different just because she is an Oracle. This simply was a most fantastic read from start to finish. It had me laughing and crying and all because the characters were true to life within the story. It made you feel like you were right there living it along with them. And the bad guy.....well, he was simply a development of his father's making. Max and Allegra seemed to be several steps ahead of him in the game. Kudos Ayer!

The Pythia Allegra's journey continues. Her visions are stronger and she begins to have more of them. She finds a friend who was previously counted as foe, the god Neptune. And continues to search for the man she knows has killed many other Pythias and their descendents. Allegra finally finds out why.
Well written, with an exceptional plot and characters, full of action and a few good twists to keep me reading straight through!

The drama of Allegra being the Pythia continues in the last book. Allegra and Max still have issues on what Allegra should and shouldn't do for her safety, especially after her last vision. Allegra also finds out more about the other Pythia's and her self. Langcourt is still trying to kill her. What all does Allegra find out about her ancestors? What Will happen when she goes after Langcourt? Can she accept who she is? I received an ARC copy for my honest review.

Allegra takes you further into this world with having her hands full. The thrill and excitement catches us with from seeing what she will do. This is a mystery that is set in a unusual setting which makes for intrigue. You are given a few answers in this one enough to wet your whistle. Each one is better though then the last one. What about that Max eh? Twists that have us upside down with danger that will be met. Interesting and not easy to put down but one that leaves you wanting for more at the end.

Allegra draws closer to confronting the maniac who has been steadily killing Pythias throughout the centuries in this exciting tale. It is a race against time, and author T.G. Ayer effectively builds the tension as the novel hastens towards its exciting conclusion. Fans of J.R. Rain and Annie Bellet will enjoy Ms. Ayer’s writing style and her understated, strong and fierce heroine.

This is the last book of the Longcourt cycle, but I hope it is not the last of the series. I think Max and Allegra still have many adventures to give us. I can not wait to see what new villains will face our heroes and what other gods will offer their help.

This is another great addition to the Dark Sight Series. The storyline is well-written, action-packed, fast-paced, suspenseful and intriguing The characters are developed and just awesome. The reader will have some answers but there is potential for more books. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Allegra Damascus is trying to get a step ahead of Langcourt and his minions. When Allegra receives three prophesies, she must take steps to ensure they don't come true. Past Pythia's diary gives insight to their lives and gives Allegra clues to finding Langcourt once and for all. Meanwhile, Max is struggling with how to keep Allegra safe and protected. Can Langcourt be stopped? Will Allegra's prophesies come true? Will Max resolve his struggles? Your answers await you in Shadow Sight.

This series truly inspires me as a reader and hopeful future author. The characters are rich, bold, real, colorful, complicated, mysterious, and curious. Ms. Ayer's storytelling skills are wonderful and creative.
