I just loved this product. A couple of my children took online courses with the Institute for Excellence in Writing. Each time exercises in grammar, punctuation, and proofreading were done with the Fix It! activities. This portion was to be checked by the parent. I obtained a student copy of the exercises for myself and completed the ones assigned to my son before grading both of ours. Ouch! I missed a lot which helped me to learn a lot. The fun part about this is that each passage that the student proofreads is part of a larger story. While one might not be eager to do more proofreading, it is fun to continue reading the story, in this case, the adventure of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Well done! I highly recommend this book as well as the online courses with IEW.
