Actually 4 1\2 Stars
Alice is a real estate superagent, who works long and hard to retain her status. She is also, privately, somewhat broken, having been abandoned by her father for most of her life. Not wanting to end up like her mother, she has not allowed herself to let emotions affect her sexual interludes, limiting them to one and done.
Draper is in the midst of ending a very messy marriage. His ex-wife, Hailey, cheated on him throughout the marriage while he was spending all his time trying to build his business, by developing an exclusive state of the art computer program that would streamline the work for real estate agencies.
This was a well written story with very good character development of the primary players. The interweaving of the personal issues that impacted both Alice and Draper was a nice surprise. The story had a good mix of all the elements that make for a good romance novel. What kept it from being a five star story for me was the hasty ending, trying to the up all the loose ends, and the in love too quickly aspect which, unfortunately, seems to be way more often the norm rather than the exception for this genre.

The Realtor takes on the Tech giant! A maddening, intricately woven deep seeded love story - one that once I started I could not put down!
Have you ever read a storyline that has you rooting for the headstrong couple, then reconsidering it on the next page? This was me, throughout the entire book- I was so back and forth I started to question if I was the one with the issue ( which is probably not far off, but still humphh) I liked it, I loved it, I wanted to throw my kindle.Watching Draper ( Caine ) and Alice go on their journey, and the hoops Draper had to jump through for Alice was quite a tale!
Don't get me wrong it was not all madness sadness and drama in this well-written saga. In pure C.J. Thomas fashion, there's always more to the story, wittiness, hot passionate moments that cannot be beaten, and sweetness at just the right times blended in to make for a fantastic one sitting cover to digital cover read. I highly suggest checking out for yourself!

Alice and Draper are both driven, successful, smart and focused in their professional lives. Their personal lives are a mess. Alice has steeled herself and her emotions against any romantic involvements. She's definitely a one and done type of woman. That is until she met Draper. After a weekend of mind blowing sex they go their separate ways. Only Draper can't get her off his mind. He starts actively pursuing her. Their journey ito love is not a smooth one. It's strewn with deceitful ex's, betrayals, omission of truth and lies. They both reel wildly from the ongoing events surrounding them. They do, however, make through the storm and get their HEA.

How about having a one night stand and then the guy shows up at your office?! Then he persists in pursuing you and you're trying to run like hell. Talk about tangled web. Oh and by the way, he's just sold a software package to your company that guarantees he's not going to be out of your life any time soon.
This story was funny, full of twists and turns, and on fire. I loved Draper and Alice, although their relationship isn't based in truth and they are all over the place with one another. The ending has a surprise I didn't see coming.

Wow I don't know how CJ Thomas does !! This story has its twist & turns & ups & downs!
Alice is SET on one night stands & Draper has an ex who's determined to cause problems!
I loved this story it was very realistic.
Alice is hardened to love become her upbringing, and Draper is ready to show her what love is all about. Both will Hailey come in between.

She she was always looking for new clients. Caine gave Alice the name only his friends knew to call him. Things escalated and they wound up in bed. This was suppose to be a one night stand but Caine wanted more they spent the second night together. Twists, Turns, Betrayal,and Lies till the truth is finally revealed. Good Read this is the first book I read in the series now I want to read more.

I could not believe this book. It wasn't what I was thing it would be. I was so Happy ☺ I tryed it. It was 👍.I am happy it went where it did. I don't won't to geve to much away. A great story well written with lots of emotions. Both Alice & "Caine" had an emotional journey to go through. I felt bad for Caine for all the Hell his ex put him through. I did feel this story was too long.

Alice is a workaholic and doesn’t believe in relationships. Draper believes in relationships but is trying to recover from a failed one. How they meet and what comes next makes a really good book! Highly recommend!

Tempt Me by C.J. Thomas is a good read. Well written book with complex characters and a solid plot. A entertaining and engaging read. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Wonderful book
I really liked this book. I loved that Draper and Alice had a happy ending. I like Thomas style of writing. The books grap from the get go all the way through. I didn't want it to end.

Everything works out
Alice is all about her realtor and there's no time for men mostly cause of what her father did to her mom, but them she met Draper but when he didn't tell her the truth she used that so she could run. Her friends and family made sure everything worked out

Great series! Great book. Draper was really HOT! Alice was a bit more difficult to get into, but I did like there was minimal angst.
