I chose wrong. Diesel Hunt is a myth. He’s a liar, traitor, and a thief. He stole my heart and stepped on it. Then he made a fool out of me... to the entire world. Now I’m just a stupid woman who beds the wrong man. Lesson learned...
One step forward, 2 steps back. While what happened was incriminating, how quickly the heroine fell for the whole thing and didn't believe the hero, and was set on moving on with the engagement, was super annoying. Basically the whole book is the hero saying he was innocent and the heroine not being able to make up her mind and it got super annoying. Also, for how rich they are, the hero's resources are essentially useless.
Safety:
Ow drama- hero goes to club, women touch him and stuff and he doesn't do anything about it. One woman kisses him and pushes away but takes her and drops her off at her house because she was drunk, nothing happened though.
Om drama- heroine's engagement is back on with her friend which causes drama
No cheating- (except the club part, but I don't really count it as cheating) and the engagement
Ooh Diesel how are you going to get out of this one. Everything is stacked against Diesel even the woman that has taken his heart! This story but keeps getting better and better, I’ve never held my breath so much. Victoria certainly knows how to go through all the emotions with you. You just want Hunt to be believed, you are routing for Titan to become Tatum again, Victoria ends the story when you don’t want it to end. If you want a story where you can’t put it down this is the series for you. Another great story from a Victoria Quinn
Omg Victoria never disappoints. The emotions I had for this book were all over the place. I was mad, sad, and happy. The chemistry between Hunt and Titan is undeniable. I thought for sure we would find out the source of the leak in the previous book. I thought for sure it was a certain someone but was shocked to find out it wasn't. There are so many ways this series could go and I can't wait to see where it goes. Victoria you have a reader for life.
Well written. Great continuation. Just it’s just dragging. More like a tv episode than a novel. Of course I’ll read the next one.... just like I watch a season of a show. But it may keep me from reading other series written like this. I NEED SOME CLOSURE and there was none here.
I was so into this book i didn’t even realise i’d reached the final page !!!!! So many emotions, absolute devotion, love, lies, devastation where will it end. The next instalment can’t come quick enough, perfect bedtime reading ladies.
Too many sex scenes not enough of a story bored already
I think Hunt should just drop Titan she won't acknowledge him as her man Hunts her dirty secret she keeps putting her male best friend ahead of Hunt . All they do is have to sex I'm bored I'm only going to read the next book if I don't get a better story I'm dropping the series.
This book was not worth the money. This is just a money thing. This could have been one book. Diesil came across weak. All over stupid Tatum who was not worth it to me.
. Nayeli - per RFS
Titan and Hunt are up against the wall and all they have are undeniable passion and gut intuition to help them weather the storm. Titan thought she has it with Hunt, but now all the trust that she gave to him has gone down in flames. Her brain is telling her to look at the mounting evidence, but her heart is pleading with her to believe in the man she loves. Hunt knows he's being set up, but has no idea as to who or why. Without hard proof, winning back Titan’s trust will be all but impossible. All he has now is her love and her body, but without her trust he's missing the Tatum he's come to adore. He is nothing though if not determined. Tatum will be his again and he will be hers, mark his words.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
This couple is GOING THROUGH IT. There’s no way for them to catch a break, every time they take a step forward, it seems like they take a step back. They admitted that they’re more to each other and that there’s true feeling, there’s love between them, but then when they least expected it, someone revealed the one secret that Tatum was trying to keep from the world – her experience 10 years ago that made her into who she is. And that someone apparently was Hunt. Or was it?
When we left the last book, a story was published in the NY Times revealing all that Tatum went through at the hands of her abusive ex boyfriend. The source was noted as being Hunt, and that means that he betrayed the trust that they built, revealed the one thing in the world that no one could know, and ultimately pushed Tatum back to Thorn. We readers of course know that it wasn’t Hunt who did this, but there’s no way to prove this. That’s where we spend much of this fourth installment – watching Hunt trying to prove his innocence by figuring out who was out to get them, and then trying to get Tatum back.
This piece of the story is heartbreaking on so many levels. Not only do we see one of the most intense romances fall apart, but we see strong people crumble, and that’s the worst. Walls that came down are now back up, and we are back in a cold and frosty world.
Hunt thinks that it’s Carol, the man that they ruined and bought a business from. There are thoughts that it’s Thorn (and to be honest, i think that it’s Thorn, because the timing was just tooooo coincidental) My other guess is that it’s Hunt’s father, since we know that he’s declared war once Hunt bought a business that he was going after. 200 pages of trying to figure this out while trying to win Tatum over is exhausting. Every time a step is made in the right direction, we fall back a few more.
The rift in the world is getting bigger. There are questions that Tatum poses to Thorn that pushes them apart and that’s a relationship that hurts almost too much to bear for her. Hunt makes the decision to take the eyes off Tatum’s story by revealing his story of why he and his father are estranged, and that makes his life even more complicated.
We are still at a point in this story where we don’t know how things will net out. Thorn and Tatum give Hunt a 2-week period where if he doesn’t prove that he didn’t leak the story, that they will move on and get married, and we all know that it’s an impossible feat for him to accomplish so we see his world shatter.
I”m an eternal optimist – i believe that there have to be happy endings for people who deserve them, but i’m wondering if our author is one at this point. It seems as though someone is going to get hurt and it’s our main character here. There’s no way to prove that he hasn’t done what they claim, and life is moving on. Thorn gets what he wants ideally, but i still question what that is. I think that he’s got this hidden dark side and i’m just waiting to see how that manifests.
Seriously the heroine is the most frustrating woman I have read about!! I hate her!! She treats the hero like shit every time they are not fucking. She hurt him so many times I have lost count!! I don't even want him to want her!! Because she doesn't deserve a man like him.
And please enough with Thorn, the guy is hideous!!
Hunt on the other hand is an amazing hero!! Love him so much!!
This fourth book was a waste of time dragging the story and watching the hero get hurt by her over and over.
This book was a lot of back and worth and didn't really go anywhere. I'm kind of bummed that nothing happened through out the whole book. I'm really hoping in the next book that we get a little more. Fingers are crossed!
The story continues and even though it is good, it could have been wrapped up by now rather than gouging your readers $6.99 to continue dragging us along to find out the ending.
If you took out all the conversations and situations on a loop, you would barely have any pages. We just kept repeating the same thing and it doesn't even make sense.
More than that, how can you be a successful businessman who was incorrectly named as the source to an article, from a news agency as big as the New York Times and not get your lawyers involved? At the very least, for the newspaper to prove they did their due diligence.
As for Tatum Titan, I have given up on liking this woman and I am starting to give up on Diesel too. Brett, Pine, anyone! Can someone stand up for this man and stop have this woman skewer him with her five-inch stilettos?
An imbalance of power in any relationship is bound to cause problems and unfortunately, I just can't get behind this one because this woman can be strong and not jerk this dude around by the dick. They might still respect each other but I am losing respect for Diesel Hunt.
Also, everything is contrary. Nothing makes sense. Timelines, reasonings and when do they run a business if all they do is have sex and fight?
I am over the constant sex with no real connection. I feel just as on the outside as those who don't know that these two are in love. I want Tatum Titan to marry Thorn Cutler and be miserable and I want Diesel Hunt to find a beautiful woman who appreciates the full platter he brings to the table.
This is quite possibly the first where I have read a book or series and I am not rooting for the couple. I want them to go their separate ways because this is just hard to watch or read.
Thankfully, work will probably have me busy this week so I might get a much-needed break from this constant emotional pull where I just want to scream that none of this makes sense!
Great continuation to the series. Poor Hunt my heart was breaking for him in this one. You can literally feel Hunt's pain and desperation as he attempts the near impossible. You want to be so frustrated with Titan for listening to her head and not get heart but I can't blame her. I was rooting for Thorn to do the right thing but his action are selfish and now I'm looking at him with the side eye he's clearly looking out for his own interests. There's just so many emotions. I have so many questions and I want to know who started this war and heartbreak for Hunt and Titan. Overall a fantastic read looking forward to seeing what going to happen next. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
OMG! This series is killing me. I can't get enough! I don't even know how to leave a review without giving anything away. The twists and turns are everywhere and just when I thought I had it all figured out, it zagged on me. Victoria Quinn is a master at reeling the reader in, making you feel all soft and gooey, thinking it'll all work out, and then blowing your mind. I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is the binge read of the year. Do not miss out on this hot, romantic, angsty, and even a little twisted read. Just get the entire series. You're going to want to reread again anyway.
Without trust what are you left with? With Titans secret revealed she can no longer continue in a relationship with Hunt as he is the only person who is responsible for the leak. But Hunt adamantly denies this and is working to find the truth. But will Titan let her feeling for Hunt slip away and end the relationship? Can Hunt build back her trust before she marries someone else? This book had me on the edge of my seat. It was heartbreaking to watch Hunt lose everything especially his control. These characters are so complex yet so believable that the reader feels every emotion on the page. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
This is a great SERIAL, but be warned that it is a serial. Each part (Boss Man, Boss Lady, Bose Love, etc) is a small section of a whole story. It is a fantastic story with twists and turns and whodunits and flaming hot $ex. The characters are given such depth, that when they are suffering, you actually suffer along with them. This segment of the story is full of heartache and doubts with both Hunt and Titan (and Thorn to some extent) caught in the aftermath of the news story about Titan. The cliffhanger on this on is truly wrenching for all of those on Team Hunt. I cannot wait to read Boss Alpha.
I received a copy form this fantastic author and I voluntarily reviewed this book.
As Tatum and Hunt go back and forth in the relationship, Tatum feels she cannot trust Hunt because of the story of her past. Even though he claims his innocence, he is unable to prove it. She agrees to marry thorn who she trusts but does not love as opposed to Hunt who she loves but doesn’t trust. I didn’t think I would last beyond book 3 in this back-and-forth but there does seem to be Lots of twists. I do love the characters even though I would like to smack them periodically.
The mystery continues. The trust is gone. The passion and intensity between Titan and Hunt are as strong as ever. You feel Hunt's pain and desperation as attempts the near impossible. You are frustrated at Titan for listening to her head and not her heart. You want to punch Thorn for being selfish and putting his two cents in as he's clearly looking out for his own interests. Ugh! So many emotions flow through the reader as the book progresses even to the last page.....
Omg good!!!! I had to stay awake and finish this story.
Love and gut instincts rule this relationship, hopefully, it allows them to have an HEA ending. Past mistakes and feelings also affect Titan in a way that sometimes clouds her personal relationship with Hunt.
As usual, this one is well written and draws out your emotions for the characters.
I can't wait to read the next one to see how the rest of this plot will develop!
Titan continues to battle her emotions as Hunt fights to prove his innocence to her and Thorne. Truly an emotional read as this book brings so much love and hate towards one another, with Thrones proposal adding to the fire. Cannot wait to see if they continue their engagement or if Hunt can convince her otherwise!!
This book was so good!!! I read it in less than a day!! I found myself reading while i was working, I just couldn't not put it down. Victoria has a way with words that can just transport you to where you feel like you are there watching everything as it unfolds. I really can't wait for the next book to come out and see what is happening next.
