Far too short. Where's the safe sex. And I really hate "insta-love".
The trope of savvy woman suddenly turned into lust puppet despite having had a previous bad experience just is a NO for me. Diamond started off really well, setting boundaries and extremely competent at her job. She doesn't mix business with pleasure UNTIL she meets Daniel Kim. Frankly, I never understood why.
Basically the chemistry was just sex. I didn't see any sense of these two characters getting to know each other or navigating the rough world of entertainment.
I get the whole K-Pop thing, and it seems Korean guys are the new hero du jour in regards to Black heroines, which is cool. But like any pairing, I want more than just a superficial characterization. Daniel Kim is a successful Korean hip hop artist. Okay, how does that work? Korean hip hop is less mainstream than K-Pop (and I'm a fan of K hip hop artists like Drunken Tiger, his wife Tasha, Palo Alto and B-Free). How does Daniel get to be so big that he's been signed to an American record label?
The biggest problem is this read like fanfic rather than a mature story. And that's sad because there is a lot of potential here. I would love a bigger, fully fleshed out story in which these characters are allowed to grow. There's also some questionable consent issues which I wasn't cool with either.

I'd Like a Rewrite
This is my fist story by Love Journey and I finished it because I wanted to give it an honest review.
I would love to see the story reimagined and rewritten, because I think it has potential as a reluctant consent story.
As written, it is more a story of sexual harassment and coercion.
Diamond is capable of being stronger and smarter than this.
Daniel is capable of expressing his interest without suggesting skinny dipping during meetings and breaking, entering and slipping into her bed without an invitation.
I'd read a longer version of this story, I'd give it a 2nd chance.

Short and interesting
Never read this author before. I'm a fan of POC ir.
I didn't realize this story was extremely short. While I was happy to read two POCs together, there wasn't much weight to the story. It was the regular "boy is on a new journey, randomly sees attractive woman who has also on her own personal journey. They meet up accidentally, thus starts the affair that was never supposed to happen".
It was cute for a quick read but no meat.
I'll think about this author again.

This book was very sweet. It is tricky mixing business with pleasure but love finds a way. This love story did not disappoint.

Quick, sexy, fun IRR romance with something extra
I knew just watching the words on the page as Diamond entered the hotel and had total focus what she was there for this would be a read for me. I loved the determination she had. The fact she knew that all eyes were on her and she did not sway. Daniel was sexy hot and he had laser focus on Diamond as she walked in to his hotel. He just was not expecting her to be part of his new PR team.
Minus all the erros with typos, grammer, wrong words or extra words, this was a good read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Formatting, flow. And overlay
Reading helps to become a better writer. This feels like it is all over the place, the formatting pulls your eyes away from the story. The description is good, but the story feels jerky going from her to him and him to her.
Read a lot more to learn how to interweave alternate points of view without writing Him > Her> Him>Her.

When you know you know
Daniel is drawn to Diamond immediately. Sometimes when you know you just know. He makes his intentions clear but is respectful. He takes the time to get to truly appreciate her so by the time the act on the attraction, it’s more than something physical. It’s a sweet story.

Awesome read!
Diamond and Daniel were such a perfect couple. Even though Diamond tried to resist in the beginning. I'm glad she finally decided to give Daniel a chance to prove that his feelings were sincere.

Quick read. Daniel and Diamond had chemistry in spades. I would have liked more background and to get to know the characters a bit better. Diamond still felt very much like a mystery.

A Little Disappointing
Even though this was a novella, " I Don't Disappoint" was slow getting to the point. The premise was great, but the story was flat.

Ended too soon
Diamond and Daniel were a nice couple. Seeing their relationship build was nice and not having any drama was better. It ended too fast for me and would love to have seen how their family and friends felt about their relationship.

She challenged him
Titles and covers are extremely important. They encourage readers to read the summary and possibly the book. The cover of I Dont Disappoint grabbed some of my attention while the summary sealed it. Yet, the title really had nothing to do with the story. Diamond 💎 wasn't star struck and did her job with Daniel until she didn't. I liked that their romance wasn't an overnight two day thing. It took some time. Diamond challenged Daniel. She refused him. Rejected him, even. Made him earn her. Daniel was trying to find something more. Therefore, he was upto the challenge of showing Diamond whatever she needed to see from him to be secure. They worked.
I didn't care for the name Diamond but it is what it is.
I gave the story 4.5 stars because of the ending. There was no epilogue, which leads to the big question: what happened between Daniel and Diamond?

This book was such an awesome read!! I'll admit the cover caught my attention first, then the synopsis. But it was the characters, their meet-cute, their passion and desire for one another, their silent connection and interactions with each that had me glued to my Kindle. Diamond and Daniel had a deep presence that radiated throughout their love journey. From the minute Daniel spotted Diamond in that hotel, he was forever changed. The same could be said for Diamond even when she tried to deny that Daniel was no more than another celebrity client.
This book took me on a rollercoaster ride where I lost my breath reading one of the most sexy, naughty, delicious, and oh so satisfying reads of this year. I enjoyed the rawness of Daniel and Diamond's passion for each other. This author and this book are definitely going on my recommendation list.

This book was a fun quick read, and of course spicy. It was fun reading the duel perspective, and I love POC characters. I wish that Diamond and Daniel's beach conversation was longer because that was the moment when Diamond became more invested in Daniel, and I wanted to get to know him better. The book had a few english/grammar errors, but that did not stop me 🤣. The author did a great job describing the intimate scenes. I see myself picking up another one of the authors books in the future.

Sweet, tender, hot, and satisfying.
I don't disappoint was the perfect title for this book. Daniel saw Diamond and that was the end of any chance at escape she would ever have. He turned all of her doubts into desires, and her attempts at protest into protestations of passionate release. He fell instantly and without remorse chose her boldly and forever. This story was pure joy to read.

Cute lil short
That was the most adorable story I've ever read my only problem with it is that it wasn't long enough it was just rushed in the best way possible though. Loved diamond and Daniel's chemistry I just wish there was more substance to the relationship than one full of lust. However with that being said I can't be mad that they got hot and heavy real quick because it made for a good spicy novella read.

Daniel and Diamond met in a very professional way. I would have preferred for Diamond not to give into to Daniel intimately until after the photo shoot.
Staying professional in those situations is very important, if someone found out I felt that Diamond would have been the one that got the short end of the stick.
Diamond's reputation needed to stay being more important to her then sex.
I am glad that it had a great ending and sleeping with a client didn't come back to hunt her, instead she gained a husband.

I love AMBW romance, so I had to see what this story was about. It was steamy for sure, and I liked both the leads. The blurb pulled me in, and I did enjoy the short read. I rated it what I did due to some typos throughout and one scene that had me thinking the female lead was dreaming, but she wasn't. I was confused as there was no explanation of how the male lead got there, so it felt like a part was missing. It's worth a read, so check it out.

Interesting read
The Korean American character reminds me of a well known Korean American rapper who also sings and is the CEO of his company. It was a nice love story, I was really happy how it ended.
