A funny steamy intro into a new world where the H/h have chemistry, the secondary characters are memorable and the action has you flipping pages as fast as you can. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
A five star read that I had a lot of reservations about. I’ve followed this author through 27 books and 4 series with countless recurring characters and didn’t see how leaving that world behind could work. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Great start to new series
I am a fan of all your different series. I have to say this new one is great. I can not wait for the next group hook up. Also curious to see if the mc crosses over to the new series. The three stooges meeting the golden girls could be funny as hell. Great book

Fabulous book from a most awesome author.
This book had it all, humour, drama and intrigue. I went through the gamut of emotions reading this book. One minute I was gasping and on the edge of my seat, the next I was in tears of laughter.
This book is about the FBI task force and the guys who run this unit and their Commander. Rafael is in charge and Cassidy is an ADA. Once they meet it’s almost love at first sight. The story is fast and intriguing and keeps your attention from the beginning until the end.
Highly recommend this book.

She Did It Again
So different from the other series but I loved it. I am so excited to see where this series goes. Even though it is so different from The Baxters and The MC series you still get hot alphas and strong heroines. I can't wait to read Miguel☺ One click this book!!!!

Raphael Saber is career military, special forces Delta. A player with a women in every place he is currently staying.
The new FBI director has taking a page out the the Baxter MC book and has set up a new branch of the FBI to offer support to any agency that asks for help in their jurisdiction. He has tapped Raphael to head it up.
Cassidy is a hard working DA, and bar owner. After Raphael is called out on his player ways, he wanders into Cassidy 's bar. They hit it off and Cassidy has Raphael rethinking his player ways. Cassidy thinks she has found a man her late father would have been proud to call son.
A case assigned to Cassidy at the last minute puts her life in danger. Raphael and his team jump in to protect her. His team help her get a conviction. She is still in danger when it is learned a serial killer she convicted is out and is hunting her.
Loved Raphael and Cassidy's story. Loved that the series is part of the Baxter MC world. The brief cameos were nice. Loved Raphael 's team. It is huge, and thankfully a who's who was provided at the start of the book. Can't wait to their stories. The Golden Girls were over the top crazy. This author is dependable. She writes action packed plots filled with well drawn character full of life and honor. This is an excellent start to a brand new series with brand new and fascinating people. Can't wait for the sequel. Last read 2017. Re-read 2020. Still good.

I've read nearly every title that L. Ann Marie has written, some more than once, so I was quite eager to read the first title in The Providence Series Saber's Vida.
L. Ann Marie crafts a world with endearing, colorful, dynamic and captivating characters, Rafael Saber and Cassidy Warner being no exception. Within the story line is a whole cast of characters that captivated my attention, some being incredibly memorable in the case of the Golden Girls, with satirical banter that had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion.
Saber's Vida is a fast paced, romantic suspense, full of action, danger, intrigue and twists and turns that kept me completely captivated and enthralled.
Rafael Saber has a reputation as a womanizer, but when it comes to his work ethic the former special forces Delta commander is incredibly loyal and honorable. This sexy alpha is used to his commands being followed.
Cassidy Werner is an Assistant District Attorney. She is intelligent, strong, kind and has a strong work ethic and believes in justice and the process of the legal system.
The chemistry between Cassidy and Rafael is intense and undeniable. With love scenes that are full of heat, steam, passion, sensuality and passion. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter that is witty, fun, playful, clever and flirtatious.
I found this title to be quite different to the previous books that L. Ann Marie has written, and in some ways I actually found it easier to read and follow than her MC and Protectors series. The prose is more fluent, and has more contractions and expression that I've found to be lacking in her effect of portraying heroes with traits of an individual with autism.
I will be eagerly anticipating further titles in this series.

She made a place for herself with her larger than life alpha badass men and has started this series off the same way. Rafael Saber is badass man through and through. His military background set him up to lead this elite branch of the government. This new start leads him to a new romance that he wasn't expecting or looking for but embraces as whole-heartedly, just as he does with his new career. Both require him to make some adjustments in his perception. Cassidy is no slouch either. She is an ADA and has the threats to her life to go along with it. It will take the whole team to hand together and keep her safe. Throw in some crazy older ladies and we have a successful and intriguing introduction.
This new series gives you the action-adventure mixed with romance and some comedy just when you need it most that readers have come to expect from L Ann Marie.

Didn't hold my interest
This had a very slow start for anything at all to happen. There was talk about "ops" happening for Saber's team, but none in detail and they were always very short, usually last under 30 minutes. It talks about a budding relationship between Cassidy who works at the DA's office and Commander Saber, but it's most just get to know talk and then of course, alittle later it becomes the mushy talk. When something potentially exciting hapoens with Cassidy's bar, it's glossed over and turned into a big deal about her asthma. This book had the potential to be so much better.

A fantastic read
This book grabs you from the beginning and jeoos you interested throughout. There is love, intrigue and funny moments. The characters are real and relatable. I feel for Saber and Cassidy early in the book. Which is a great sign of a great story. It drags you in, hooking you, so that you stay for the ending. Definitely a book so good I would read it again.

3.5 Stars. A good start to a new series and it was better edited than the MC and Baxter series. Still had issues, but nothing that pulled me out of the story.

What can I say it's L Ann Marie so you know it's good.
Honestly I feel so connected to her Baxter, and both MC series thought I would have a hard time going in.

What a great start to a new series. We meet Commander Raphael Saber and his team. The newly appointed Commander is relocated s new unit and has helped handpick his teams. We get to mee the guys and ladies if his unit or as he refers to them ‘his men ’ or ‘women men’! Cassidy is an ADA and literally walks into his life when he has an epiphany about his life. The story evolves and we watch as the unit watch as they fall in love and the chaos ensues. Great book. Highly recommend this book

A good new series
This new series is good. The characters are funny, sweet, alpha, confident and so easy to like. Some to me are a bit much but still good. Some of the scenes are drawn out but it doesn't take away from the read. It still has everything you expect from L Ann Marie.

An absolute must read
I've read every book this author has written. I was so down when I finished the last book. She nails everything, her writing is just plain awesome. I'm thrilled to find a new series. Keep them coming, please!!!!!!!

L. Ann Marie knocks it out of the park yet again! I can't wait to read more in the series! Saber is likeable and I fell in love with him and his team! For fans of her other series I ask you to check this one out.

Awesome start!!!
I absolutely loved the start to this series!! Loved the quick Knight cameo but loved the overall story and flow. The golden girls cracked me the heck up and Cassidy was badass! She just kept taking her licks and kept on ticking without the fuss. Rafael is adorbs and the whole panty dropping affair was just down right hilarious!! Great writing, great story, great characters and overall great book! Can’t wait to read more!!!

A new team
L Ann Marie has created a new group of strong men and women who fight for right and each other. A little confusing at first when working out who is who, but each character makes themselves known quite soon. I love that race and gender are only considered in relation to victims and their needs. Npw I'm off to read book 2.

WOW, LOVED IT
I absolutely love this book! L. Ann Marie has expanded from The Baxter's Series, The MC Series, Princess of Prophecy Series and the Protector Series into a new series that will visit some of our friends from the other series.

A amazing read
I wasn’t sure I wanted to read this series I’m so in love with the MC series but was super happy that they mentioned them and the characters here are just as lovable I look forward to reading the rest and seeing how the Characters come to life for me

An awesome start to a new series!!
This is a fast paced, romantic suspense, full of action, intrigue and twists and turns and there is the GOLDEN GIRLS that kept me completely captivated and laughing.
