Love a Man in Uniform? Well here is Lieutenant Commander Stud, Ryan Baker. When small town Girl Chanel meets Ryan it’s a bit embarrassing. But sparks fly just the same. My emotions were everywhere with this book! I laughed, got angry, cheered, and jumped out of my chair! Chance Carter, your an Awesome author! Very highly recommended!

Wow great story! Lots of drama, and sexual tension. Ryan and Chanel have this great sexual chemistry but they keep trying to deny that they should be together.
Roller coaster ride of emotions right from their first meeting. Chanel is so young poor Ryan feels like he’s taking advantage of her youth. Nasty Jack is the perfect villain - he’s such a creepy slime ball you can’t wait to see him get the payback karma has in store for him. Chanels mom too stars as a minor villain- so controlling and damaged.
Yes, Chance Carter has delivered another great read. 🔥🔥🔥 Mission accomplished - I read way into the night and yes, you made me cry at that awkward beautiful proposal. It made me laugh as Chanel struggled to keep her big reveal in the epilogue. 💎💎

Chance Carter usually writes with such finesse that the storyline flows smoothly with the hot sexy romance inserted in for good measure; however not this time. The storyline felt mechanical and not easy to read. The dialogue wasn’t as believable as it could be (more forced) and the sexy encounters were a little lackluster. For all the great books that Chance publishes this one felt as if it were his first instead of the most recent one of several 5 star books.

so what happens when you go to a town for supplies to spruce up a military base but find a woman you want to be with . and what happens when your mother is overbearing or controlling {note reminds me of A friend of mine .} and what if you go out with your best friend but find much more than you ever expected to find . and can Chanel get away from her mom or will she be trapped or can Ryan help her follow her dream . and will Ryan realize there is much more than just work . and will be realize his once best friend wants what he has . find this and much more but buying or on KU since Authors get more via KU than if bought out right

Melissa a woman who is in a relationship with a man who abuses her and so much more , she works in a bar and sees a newcomer come in her bar whom shes attracted to and knows he is different . but there are roadblocked for them both not only her boyfriend but Jack's fighting and the man who books each fight may prove harder to deal can they overcome the odds and succeed or fail because the odds are stacked against them

Wow sexy and flirty yet adventurous ,
Jane a virgin balleria who is not experienced in ways but Dancing is her main goal in life she never had a boyfriend but dancing . {Side note i can relate i basically at that age danced did not date either .} but a chance encounter at a ballet show brings a man she never expected to me or fall for who is Brad what does he really want with her but will his past rule due to his first love or will he realize what is right in front of him . find this and many other stories of Chance Carter they only seem to get more intense than the last book ., also on KU or to buy but KU gives the author more than buying right out .

Oh my dear Chance, you have done it again! I love when I sit down with a book and get involved in the characters that I can't put the book down. That is how I know that I have a good story, I just can't put it down until I am done.
Ryan and Chanel have a spark that ignites from the moment they meet. They both have things in their past that leaves them timid at first, but as their feelings develop they also become stronger. Chanel develops the strength to stand up to her controlling mother. Ryan, although he is a few years older than Chanel, takes a little longer to develop the strength he needs to realize he does deserve to be happy. I think they are perfect for each other and I was rooting for their HEA. If you enjoy military romance you will not be disappointed. If you have not read one of Chance Carter's books, what are you waiting for! Thanks for another great one Chance! 💋

Great love story

I thought this military' boo k was a good romance book. Chantal is a great interior designer from a small town. She runs her moms shop. Her mom is not very nice to her. She really wants to move to find a different life for her self. One day asmokin hot guy comes into her shop looming fo r services. (Sparks at first site) things happen between the both of them. This book is such a great book. I think Chance did an amazing job with this book. I could continue reading this story because it was that great if a love story.

Awesome book ! Totally loved Chanel and Ryan’s story. She was so tired of living under her moms thumb. Ryan was lieutenant over a military base that the town wanted torn down. Danger lurked around the corner as they get close to each other. They over come odds that threaten to destroy their future together. Twist and turns that keep you guesses what will happen next. Absolutely a book you shouldn’t pass up

I liked reading Lieutenant Commander Stud. Chanel and Ryan’s story was different, she wants to escape her boring life controlled by her mom and he is trying to overcome a tragic experience he has while deployed. They’re attraction to each other will bring them together and make it so that they both find their HEA

WICKEDLY-DELICIOUS

Emotions run high in this wickedly-delicious story. Inside; jealousy runs rapid, appalling betrayal, action, friendships are the voice of reason, powerful vivid scene descriptions, and the sparkling happy ending after all the hurdles are conquered is so well deserved.

Ryan craves to make his barracks in the mountains more appealing and comfortable for all who are there; his need to do this runs deep to compensate for his haunted memories from deployment Meeting Chanel who is not only a beauty but sassy, intelligent and a creative interior decorator ambushes his unexpecting closed heart. Chanel has an overprotective mom who tries to keep her on a tight leash. When Chanel secures the Navy contract to spruce up the base, Ryan finds himself in a whirlwind of confusion.

LOVED this impressive fabulously well-written read as my impatience escalated to find out what happens next. Breathless sensuous romance sizzles, the reality of this story has you feeling for and cheering for Ryan and Chanel; they are absolutely perfect together. I adored Chanel's audaciousness as she is not afraid to stand up to Ryan's hard-headedness. I always find this author's stories entertaining and love how he portrays strong female heroines as well as his alpha/altruistic heroes. If you treasure books on Navy Seals this is definitely a great choice for your library. I enjoyed this story so much {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this read.

What happens when a sexy, smart but naughty Girl is on the Base?!

When I look around the barracks as I do everyday and I instantly knew my men deserved better.
My men are sacrificing their lives for their country.
As I'm the Lieutenant Commander. I knew that their wellbeing was all my responsibility.
I decided to take a drive into town and I hired the best, sexiest and smart as hell interior decorator I could find.

The lovely Chanel, I bet that Chanel had never thought she'd be the one to help decorate a military barracks.
However I had no idea, even in the slightest that I'd fall so hard for such an innocent, beautiful, sexy, smart delicious girl.

Did I mention Chanel was delicious, Really oh well I'm sorry I never mentioned it, However when I say delicious, I totally mean it.
i must say I've tasted every single inch of Chanel.

Chanel's tasted every single inch of me too! I knew she couldn't resist me!
I now know that can't get enough of Chanel's sexy body.

Hell I could get discharged for this but yes I know.. I know that it's against regulations to have a woman on the army base. When you know that when someone feels this good, so sweet, I know that

I won't ever let Chanel out of my sight.

I know that if that means keeping Chanel within view of the rest of my men too!

A girl like Chanel on a base is highly irregular. A rule breaker!

However Chanel's a secret that myself and my me we'll all keep!

I have read several books by this author and they just keep getting better and better. I love a man in uniform, but a SEAL, that is the best you can get. The story is fantastic and the characters are full of life and the chemistry is undeniable. Ryan is your quintessential career soldier fighting demons from his last deployment. Chanel is a young woman trying to make her dreams of being an interior designer and leaving the small town she lives in come true. Her mother is obsessive with knowing who she's with, what she's doing and where she's at. Being a small town, everybody knows everything and everybody else and what they don't know, they make up. Her BFF, Paula, is her only sane refuge. Ryan wants to improve moral at the base and Chanel finally convinces him to give her the chance. This story is so much more than just this. There is danger, betrayal, fear, true friendship and a love to be envied. I love how Chanel found her groove on the base project and the way she could be so professional after being so naughty. She also has the strength to help Ryan learn to deal with his own demons. I loved this military romance and the ending was perfect.

Chanel Scott feels suffocated living under the overprotective watch of her mother and wants nothing more than to be a normal person with a normal life. When Ryan Baker, the titular Lieutenant Commander, comes into the store where Chanel works, she's instantly drawn to him. Ryan wants to pick up some homey decor items to spruce up the military base in his charge. Chanel tells him that's not how her store works and that she sources pieces to use in her passion of interior design. She offers to come to the military base and perform her designing services there, as part of morale-boosting efforts. Ryan is recalcitrant to agree but eventually gives in.

My favourite Chance book in a long time. True it's another old(er) man/too young woman military romance that's been done to death but I found myself laughing often during this book. Humor is high on my list of admirable qualities and any time I can laugh, I choose to and would consider that a good day. This book made me laugh and feel good, therefore I really liked it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

HOT HOT HOT. I like this story and plot. I like the writing style of Chance Carter very much. The main characters Ryan and Chanel was not looking for love but fate has its own way of bringing people together. A story about overcoming the bad boys of town, family and the past. Lots of hot chemistry and steamy scenes. I like the characters are well described and develop nicely. This story is written in dual POV, which I like because it gives the thoughts and feelings of both the main characters to the reader.
Enjoyable and easy to read. There are twists and turns that are unsuspected and emotional ups and downs.
The story has suspence, lust, love and a emotional roller coaster. It is sweet, fast and although predictable it has a great plot. I like the humor in the story.
To find love when it is not expected is always a great moment. Ryan and Chanel are relatable and likeable as characters.
A very sweet story with humor, sighs, lust and love. I can only recommend this if you like to read romances with a twist.

for very good reasons - the first being that he is an excellent author who conjures up tremendous storylines that make you sit up and the characters in it are very appealing and realistic. The details that he gives us are all there to help weave the story through the book and draw us into their "world". With interesting characters that are not perfect but are very real that you feel as if you can't put the book down until the end. You wnat to find out what happens and whether they got their HEA but then are sitting waiting for his next story. There is also the fact that they are so good that I will re-read them which shows how much I've enjoyed the author's work. I thoroughly enjoyed this and encourage you to read this if you love romance, , hot and steamy sexy scenes, passion and a twist or two to the story. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Okay... full disclosure time... I absolutely adore Navy SEAL's. The fact that this book has a SEAL as the main character was one of draws for me to read it. But once I got into the story, I was held there by the really well developed characters and their connection. Ryan had been through a lot of stuff that most men wouldn't be able to handle, let alone survive. He was so focused on just getting from point A to point B that he almost missed Chanel. Chanel was in a tough spot herself, trying to fit into an ever controlling relationship with her mom. Ryan was looking for stability and being able to settle into one place and Chanel was looking for a way out of her prison. What should have kept them apart actually brought them together into a really good relationship. <3

When Ryan gets an idea to fix up the base he decides to go into Chanel’s mother’s store thinking he could just buy a few things to spritz the place up but Chanel stops him in his tracks. Ryan isn’t sure how to handle his feelings so he is rude to her but he and Jack one of the officers and his best friend are stuck in a town that hates the military base. When Chanel and her friend come into the bar where Ryan and Jack are, Chanel and Ryan go up to his room. Well Ryan convinces his boss to let Chanel come up and present her ideas for decorating the base but something else is going on and it may change Ryan’s life forever.

With each new Chance Carter book I am seeing a man that is writing more and more from deep within his heart and soul. You can’t help but love him and his characters. “Lieutenant Commander Stud” is an awesome read that you should not miss. Ryan Baker and Chanel Scott have a shaky first meeting but the chemistry between them cannot be denied. However, Chanel has an overbearing mother and Ryan has many inner demons that he fighting. Will they be able to overcome each of their obstacles in order to be together? The love story will leave you smiling and the love scenes will melt your Kindle!!

Sparks flew between Ryan and Chanel from the very start. He only wants to help improve morale for his unit by redecorating the barracks. But he and Chanel bicker, and the tension heats up between them. I really enjoyed this story - Ryan is fighting an uphill battle from all sides, as is Chanel but neither of them let that interfere with their goals. Chanel was a spitfire, and I didn't like her mom much, so I was glad to see how Chanel handled her in the end. This was another wonderful romance read.

Ryan is at a point in his life where he does not want a relationship but he finds himself attracted to Chanel the one person he should not be attracted to. They have many things to get through all relationship have struggles right. With so many obstacles in their way can these two get their happily ever after. Great story great characters

Yes sir!

The mere name of this book kept me from reading it for a bit.
My brother was career military, special ops. I didn’t think that one of Chance’s books could really draw me in. Wrong!
His main two characters symbolize what being in the military can do to change you, and how living your life as a military brat, done correctly can empower you to see through people who have been challenged.
Great job, loved and despised the characters at one time, but I read it in one setting! Chance does it right, it away Hot!

Chanel is working as an interior designer under her mother's roof, when a mouthwatering hunk of a Navy Officer comes in to her shop. Ryan is trying to raise the moral on base and doesn't know where to start. When he meets Chanel he wants her, but his past keeps haunting him. Can he work through his past to be with Chanel? This book includes two extra books. The first extra book is called Claiming his virgin with Jane and Brad. The second extra book is called Room Service with Mona and Oliver. Great read couldn't put down till finished.

That was good military romance.
Rayan is a lieutenant commander is a base in Small City. He didn't want to start anything with Chanel but... you know things happen.
Chanel A girl that has controlling mother and she wants to get away from her. She needs to find a way to it. And then Rayan comes and he needs help that she can provide.
Their struggles and quite a few misunderstandings that were comic sometimes kept me on the edge.

Chanel meets Ryan when he calls into her store wanting furniture etc for the navy base to make it more homely. They clash at her suggestions.
Ryan army life is never easy but I need to up the morale of the soldiers not clash with the store owner! Things are complicated at base & not as they seem but who is jeopardising his career & why?

Ryan wasn't looking for love, he just wanted someone to give a little moral booster to his troupe. Chanel was looking for a way to get out of her mother's clench. Their first meeting went south but their next meeting ended much better. Too bad for them one guy has it in for Ryan. Can they survive the town's dislike of the soldier's, her mom's overprotective ways, and his best friend.

This story line had me reminiscing my past, as I too am a Navy brat and grew up around Navy bases. The characters of Lieutenant Commander Ryan Baker and Chanel Scott dance around while they try to discover what and where their relationship will lead. A very fast and enjoyable book.

I say this everytime but WOW!!! This book was a just wow! There were the normal hot hot sexy parts, how can I sleep now parts, there were the sad parts full of emotional heartache and the I don't want this book to end parts. It was a story about Ryan & Chanel.Needless to say I loved this book and the wonderful ending, so sad it had to end though. Well written as always.
