No puedo creer lo que diré, pero ame este libro. LOL
Es un libro bastante explicito, con mucho sexo y la verdad creí que no me gustaría pero ahh, por Dios fue muy sexy, muy hot, muy de todo, (se sonroja) y la verdad no es vulgar u ordinario. Por lo que quede gratamente sorprendida.
Mallory me gustó es una chica que encuentra su centro y deja de una vez por todas de ser lo que esperan de ella, a veces es inmadura pero la mayoría del tiempo es bien coherente y valiente. Ella es engañada y con sus amigas obtiene una lista que deberá cumplir pero en el camino a hacerlo se atraviesa Leonardo y todo cambia.
Leo es 15 años mayor pero tiene una vida difícil, secretos y su personalidad es fuerte no voy a negar que me alteraba con su posesividad y por favor tenia 37 años! A parte es muy sexy, tipo desintegra-bragas, y entendí todo lo que lo rodeaba.
La historia se desarrolla muy pero muy rápido, literal es rápido y sorprende pero luego todo se desarrolla y te atrapa. Me hubiese gustado mas paginas y en realidad daba para algo mas extenso, pero fue sin duda una historia bonita, tierna y con trama, de secretos y pasados fuertes.
Digamos que es sobre segundas oportunidades y el perdón, también acerca de amarte tal y como eres sin importar que. Con descripciones muy buenas, escenas de sexo muy calientes y bien hechas, dos personajes que roban risas y un amor bonito. A pesar de las cositas malas, me encanto. Y debido a estos detalles no di toda la puntuación.
Pero super recomendado.

Solo diré que contra todo pronóstico, este libro me encantó! Lo adoré... y para ser una lectura rápida, estuvo genial. Dior sabe que tendría que estar estudiando... pero no pude negarme, la sinopsis me atrapó! Me encantó!
La historia en sí... es sumamente interesante!! Aunque confieso que no me gustó del todo el drama... lamento que la autora simplificará que Leo recayó en sus viejos vicios... me parece fatal que lo simplifique todo de la manera en que lo hizo... Además, no me parece correcto que pusiera sobre Mallory la carga de no recaer en una adicción... simplemente reemplaza la sustancia por una persona.
Aparte de eso... no es tan fácil recaer después de años y solo sufrir dos semanas de abstinencia...
Me pareció que esa parte de la trama no fue manejada correctamente.
Respecto a los personajes... Leo me encantó! Su historia, su personaje... su actitud! Respecto a Mallory, la verdad es que en momentos olvidaba que tenía 22 años... sinceramente, se vestía como mi sobrina de 12 años jajaja Entiendo lo de ser original y ella misma... pero de repente no cuadraba tanto con sus actitudes...
El epílogo, me gustó mucho... confieso que esa historia que creó Leo me conmovió y derritió jajaja
Y ese final... woooow!! fue de impacto jajaja
En fin... amé en demasía esta parte final del primer epílogo, fue como todo comenzó para Mallory y Leo:

Este libro va de una chica, Mallory, a la que su novio la ha engañado con otra así que ella se refugia en casa de sus dos mejores amigas. Después de pasar por todas las fases de duelo ellas la retan a pasar una lista de ruptura, que consiste en hacer cosas muy atrevidas, cada una con un tipo diferente. Pero Mallory acabará cumpliendo toda la lista con un solo hombre y terminará enamorándose.
ESTA OPINIÓN PUEDE CONTENER PEQUEÑOS SPOILERS:
Bueno, aquí va algo que pocas veces habré dicho: DEMASIADAS ESCENAS DE SEXO. Me ha saturado, demasiado, demasiado, DE MÁ SIA DO. En serio, al final me agobia y encima por mucho que eran escenas para cumplir las cosas de la lista, al final todo era repetitivo. Y uf, mi mayor problema? Leer la palabra "papi" cada dos líneas. Mis dientes dolían, esa palabra me hace sentir escalofríos y no de los buenos, encima como el tipo era 15 años mayor que ella... osea, hola????! Ciertamente si podría ser tu padre chata.
En fin, que el caso es que incluso han podido meterle drama al libro, con calzador, pero lo han metido. Y llegas al final del libro y lo único que se resuelve es que estos dos se aman el uno al otro y que estarán juntos para siempre. ¿Y EL RESTO? Pa que metes una trama secundaria de drama si no vas a resolverla? Pues no sé, pa hacer bulto me imagino. Así que acaba el libro y te meten dos epílogos. El primero está "bien", solo resuelve todo el drama secundario del que os habla, cargándose al problema. Así, ya está. Vivan las autoras que se esfuerzan por escribir 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Luego tenemos el segundo epílogo que este, este sí, NO VENÍA A ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA. Simplemente vuelve a dejar otro poco de trama secundario abierto y todo PARA QUE AL FINAL NO HAYA SEGUNDO LIBRO. Así que dime ¿¡PA QUE MIERDA LO HAS HECHO!? Pa que!!!!!????? Pues pa tocar los cojones.
Resumiendo, esta historia, de haber sido muchísimo más corta probablemente habría estado bien. Me refiero a ser del estilo Alexa Riley, cortas y al grano, algo liviano y divertido para pasar el rato. Pero querer hacer una historia y sacar "esto".... ¡eh! Error.

El concepto de tachar objetivos en una lista echa por sus amigas me encantó. Desde que leí la sipnosis quedé hipnotizada, Me gustó mucho. Entiendo que puede ser un libro controversial por lo posesivo y mandon que es Leo. No es que apoye este comportamiento en mi vida personal pero es algo que no me molesta leer al menos que sea algo físico. Leo es un hombre con muchos secretos y muchas capaz pero junto a Mallory es otra persona. Me gustaba leer sus puntos de vista porque podía ver más de su vida, sus secretos y un poco de sus sentimientos. Mallory es una chica insegura y muy diferente a el resto. Me parecía un poco raro su comportamiento en ocasiones y me llegó a molestar ciertas cosas de sus puntos de vista. Tengo que decir que mis partes favoritas fueron los epilogos. Fueron definitivamente las mejores partes.

The bucket list created by her two friends is found by Leo and he helps her finish it. Mallory after being blindsided by her cheating boyfriend, moves in with her aunt and uncle. She meets Leo, an older man at her uncle's retirement party. Their attraction is instantaneous and their chemistry is off the charts. Lots of surprises, twists and emotions that will keep you page turning. A great read. I read an early copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

What a read by Vanessa Kinney about a CEO lawyer, Leonard, who has many secrets and a past he wants to forget and the one woman, Mallory, with an outlandish style who makes him feel for once in his life. Mallory has an R rated break up list given to her by her best friend to get over her cheating ex and this list leads her right into Leonard’s arms. Their “game” leads to more than completing a list and has them both falling but Leonard can’t reveal his past or divulge his secrets to Mallory, fearing she will leave him.
Oh my what a read that felt like a roller coaster of all the ups and downs and the steamy scenes that were oh my. The author did an amazing job of hiding all of Leonard’s past and secrets, giving just hints to what it was, keeping me hanging with anticipation to the final reveal. What a reveal it was and I couldn’t help but shed a tear or two at his confession and fall for him at the same time especially with the build up to it. Mallory was unique and I loved it, her dress and her style were all her own and she owned it after years of suppressing who she really wanted to be.
The story at the end in the epilogue sealed the deal and to me was worth the 5 stars it deserved all along.

Mallory finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her everything changes for her including her job where he got it for her. While crashing with friends they give her the list of what she needs to do before she can start dating again. At her uncle's party celebrating his promotion Mallory notices a hot older man watching her. Leo can't keep his off the gorgeous woman across the room and he is especially intrigue when she blushes while reading a paper she keeps pulling out. When her uncle asks her to intercept a guest and introduce herself to his boss she never expected for anything to happen with Leo. Just a tour of the place and the next thing she knows she's having sex with him. If that's not bad enough he manages to get the list and reads it making sure she knows he's going to be the one helping her with it.
OMG! This book is so hot I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Mallory and Leo burn the pages up. This author is definitely going on my one-click list. Amazing story I can't wait for the next one.

Loved it!
Mallory caught her boyfriend cheating on her, which according to him doesn't count since it's his ex...really?!? She has been staying with her best friend for 3 months when she gives her the break up lis (Rated R). I think all of us girls go through some of the same things, binge eat ice cream, maybe watch a ton of rom-coms, and do something different with out and and looks. Well...this is list is for the next part, especially if you are like Mallory and have dated nothing but douchebags and need the extra boost.
While attending a party for her uncle she meets Leo, her uncle's boss. He is intrigued by her appearance since she stands out like a sore thumb in the sea of lawyers. He wants his Kitten for the night but when he steals her list he decided to make more of it. But he has to be careful with everything since there are other factors in play.
Great read about opposite attract. Funny and has some hot moments.

Mallory walks into her boyfriend’s apartment to surprise him; but she hears voices in the bedroom. Opening the door in curiosity, she sees him with another woman. Her friends try to help her get over this betrayal with a Bucket list distraction to complete after a breakup – 10 “activities” with 10 guys before she can get back in the dating pool.
At a party, Mallory sees a man checking her out. And he manages to see her list which he graciously decides to help her complete.
This is a fun story. The characters have great chemistry together. I enjoyed the story line and look forward to the next book by this author. I was given a copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it. My comments reflect my honest opinion.

Well written story. Well described and nicely developed characters. The story flows well of the pages and it is captivating from first to last chapter. This story is written in dual POV, which I like because it gives the thoughts and feelings of both the main characters to the reader.
Enjoyable and easy to read. There are twists and turns that are unsuspected and emotional ups and downs. Hot chemistry and steaming scenes. The story has suspence, lust, love and a emotional roller coaster. It is sweet, fast and although predictable it has a great plot.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my first book from Vanessa, and I really liked it. Leo is a total alpha, he’s the CEO of his father’s company. He is Tall, dark haired and gorgeous green eyes which can get him any woman he chooses. Mallory is a young sweet curvy woman, who just dumped her no good cheating ex. She is tired of the men who are bad for her so her friends come up with a list to get her back in the dating scene.
This book’s storyline was very creative and flirty. I loved both Leo and Mallory. They truly fit as a couple and when they met it was explosive chemistry off the charts! This is definitely a book you’ll enjoy reading. Grab your copy and get ready for an intense bumpy ride.

No cabe duda que la sinopsis me engancho totalmente, ufff, pero lo que termino de gustar fue cuando llegue a la lista, Oh, mi Dios, pero que reglas.
Ahora con esa increíble sinopsis y lista pensé que iba a estar súper hot el libro, pero noooo, no lleno las expectativas con las que empece al principio del libro, pero tampoco desecho totalmente el libro, esta muy bueno, en algunas partes empieza y cierra los problemas demasiado rápido, ya que hay algunos que quedaron sin concluir como debería.
Los personajes bien desarrollados cada uno en su papel en cuanto edad aunque si la autora caracteriza más pequeña a Mallory por mucho.
En fin, recomendado para un día que quieras algo subido de tono pero no tanto, porque te hace pasar un gran momento de lectura.
Ahora con esa increíble sinopsis y lista pensé que iba a estar súper hot el libro, pero noooo, no lleno las expectativas con las que empece al principio del libro, pero tampoco desecho totalmente el libro, esta muy bueno, en algunas partes empieza y cierra los problemas demasiado rápido, ya que hay algunos que quedaron sin concluir como debería.
Los personajes bien desarrollados cada uno en su papel en cuanto edad aunque si la autora caracteriza más pequeña a Mallory por mucho.
En fin, recomendado para un día que quieras algo subido de tono pero no tanto, porque te hace pasar un gran momento de lectura.

Wow this book was so much better that I expected that I had to give this book a 5 out 0f 5 star rating. I was a little hesitant to read this book since I really wanted to read another book but I saw the ratings and read some reviews that made me say, "Why not!" So I read this book instead and boy did I love it. The author Vanessa Kinney wrote a very,very amazing book. The sex scenes were very well written, so much that they were probably one of the best I have read about. I totally recommend this book to everyone who loves romance, older men and younger women love stories and Happily Ever Afters.

Wow! What an explosive story! The plot was off the charts hot! The story-line flowed smoothly for the most part. There were a few areas that I skimmed past though it didn't stop me from enjoying the book. The characters were developed. Mallory was easily relatable though there was just something about her that didn't allow me to connect with her fully. I'm not sure exactly what it was. I fell in love with Leo! Boy was he a mess! My heart just wept with what he had been going through. I just wanted to hug him and make he feel better! Heart-wrenching! Loved the play on words here!

Honestly couldn't get into it. I gave up at Chapter 3. There were random words not added into sentences or the wrong words were thrown in (like that instead of at, or decided instead of decidedly). Just pet peeves while reading. I couldn't focus on the book because I struggled to trudge through the writing. It was like a mire of disappointment. I was so hopeful after reading the reviews too... Sometimes the reviews don't necessarily have any bearing on the reading of the actual book I guess. The only reason it's not 1 star is because the story showed promise.

I was pleasantly surprised and quite moved by the end of this book. Don’t get me wrong, the book from start to finish was amazing! Lots of emotion and drama in this well paced book. All of the characters are great. The chemistry and passion between the MC’s is heartbreaking and heartwarming! A highly recommended read!

I loved Mallory and Leo!!! I think they helped each other in so many ways. Yes it started out as a break up list. Soon it turned to Leo list!!! Oh my did it get hot. Leo was so much more than I thought he would be. He ended up having a big heart that he tried to hide. You will have to read to find out why. Mallory soon learns that love can come anytime. When Mallory discovers her boyfriend is cheating what will she do? What is the best way to get over something like this? It's called the Break-Up List (R-Rated). This is a well written book that has many different items on a list for Mallory to help get through her breakup. Some will have your jaw dropping open and others will make you smile. It was a fairly quick read that will keep you engaged throughout the book.

4.5 Stars. It took me a little to really get into the book. It started really strong with Mallory & her bf. It just got a little too flowery after Mallory meets Leo. Then it got really good. Leo’s character goes through a lot of growth, which for me is what made this story great (besides the crazy hot sexy times with Mallory). I really liked the storyline with Leo’s Dad.

This book was different and not like most older men younger women stories. It was interesting and kind of dark and I had no idea where the author was going with it. I thought I knew what was the story behind the main man, Leonardo aka Leo but I guessed wrong. And Mallory, was the one woman that completed and maybe Leo a better man. It was a real page-turner.

Leo is supposed to abide by the rules his father has laid down. Mallory is trying to get over a cheating ex. They decide to play a game. What happens when feelings come into play? Will these two come over the bumps stronger?
Steamy read. I would have to admit that even half way through, I didn't know how to take Leo, but that just made me love him even more when his story came out. I loved how Mallory was finally who she was and she wasn't going to change that. Good read!

My biggest disappointment regarding this book is that it had the potential to be quite good - even beyond the obvious fluff/smut - if it had been given a decent editing. It’s obvious it didn’t even get a cursory copy edit based on the number of errors and typos, and the story was jumpy and full of strange inconsistencies. It’s really unfortunate how few authors in the romance genre are given decent support by their publishers.

Wow. What a great storyline, it grabbed my attention and kept it the whole time, the characters were great and the chemistry between the two fabulous. I'm not one to go into the whole what happens, you get that from the description, I'll just say, I enjoyed it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!
It was the first book I have read by Vanessa Kinney but it certainly will not be the last!
A hot, sizzling read with a sexy alpha older male and a younger inexperienced female.
