I have authored this book and would like to urge everyone to read it.

Your world start with you and ends with you. Self Compassion is probably your best chance to find peace, love and contentment. It will be easier to be the change you want to see and it is a good idea to start with yourself. The happier you are, the happier your world will be. The way you see yourself is the way you treat yourself, the way you treat yourself is the way you treat others and the way you treat others is the way they treat you!

Some 3000 years ago Gautam Buddha urged humanity to practice 'Compassion' (करुणा) towards one another and it remains central to all Buddhist practices till date. Humans, perhaps, found it very difficult to practice compassion as they were too busy with rat races and obsessive with their chase for success. The state of human beings today is quite pitiable considering their emotional and physical well being. It is, perhaps, too late for compassion or more likely that we are so full of distrust, dissent and discontentment with our own lives that it may only add to our falsehood.

As you grow inward and be filled with love, you will find that you are both more loving and loved. You will prefer to relate with others (your children, spouse, parents, siblings etc) with compassion and love than out of any other emotion.

Give self compassion a chance. Develop the 100 miles mindset.
