Untouchable a five-star read that will make you want to touch it all over by Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop. I adore these two authors individually but together they pack a punch that will knock you out. Chester Donahue starts the story as any other billionaire playboy, and then he becomes so much more. Someone trying to kill you will do that for you mind. Undercover as a farm hand, couldn’t be a better idea, it seems to be a perfect idea. Who would look for a billionaire playboy in a run-down farm. The only real rule of the farm is that you don’t touch Farm owner Isaac Calver’s daughter Lauren. But what happens if Lauren wants to touch? Will she be worth the risks posed?
This story was so much more than it appears in the blurb, there is romance and passion and some hot hot action, but there is also so much more. There is family intrigue and a murder mystery, missing people and some great one liners thrown into the mix for good measure. This story has it all and you need it in your life. Well done both of you on a great job well done.

I only read books by Kira Blakely. I just heard about Emily Bishop's work - a lot of people recommended her works to me.
This book is full of mysteries, anticipation, secrets, action in some parts.
I enjoyed reading that story as characters were greatly written, the plot was interesting. And those played the most important role.
Good book.

Excellent romantic suspense from Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop!
This novel had action and suspense from the first page and the page-turning intrigue continued throughout the whole book.
What would you do for a billion dollar inheritance? How far would you go? The goons that are after Chase are willing to kill him and anyone else who gets in their way in order to be next in line for Chase’s huge inheritance.
When his body is dumped off a cliff, it should mean the end for Chase, but it’s actually just the beginning of the fight of his life and a journey on the run that ends up changing his world completely.
Accustomed to posh living, servants and a care-free existence, Chase’s new position as a ranch hand is hardly up his alley. Working with his hands all day in the hot sun, sleeping on a rickety cot and having little to no free time or money is not how he envisioned his life. Of course, it beats being shot at and relentlessly hunted down for your money.
Chase’s new boss had one stipulation in order for him to keep his job, but keeping his hands off of the farmer’s beautiful, beguiling and innocent daughter proved to be more of a challenge than he imagined. Especially when Lauren starts returning his feelings and desires.
But life on the run is no way to live forever. Chase wants to get one step ahead of his enemies, but Lauren is adding a complication into the mix that he hadn’t anticipated. She’s becoming more than just a roll in the hay to him and he wants to keep her safe from harm. Now that his new boss and his enemies are all after him, Chase needs to disappear again and regroup.
Will he have to break her heart to keep her alive? When Lauren finds out the truth about Chase’s past, will she ever be able to trust him again? Will he have to choose between the billions of dollars and a chance with the love of his life?
I really, really loved this book. Once I got started, I blew right through the whole thing… I just didn’t want to put it down! Lots of action, suspense, mystery, love, lust and humour. Chase and Lauren had incredible chemistry and I’m surprised they didn’t’ burn down the barn with the sparks that ignited between them!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and, honestly, this exciting mystery romance is so hot I will read it again. I am already an Emily Bishop fan, but this is the first book by Kira Blakely I've read and I am impressed. These two collaborating made for an emotional and sizzling read.
Chase, the male protagonist, is a billionaire heir on the run after mysterious and dangerous men attempt to kill him. While hiding, healing, and trying to solve the puzzle of who would want him dead, he seeks shelter, and work, at the Little Peace Ranch where he meets and falls in instalust with the rancher's daughter, Lauren.
Lauren, the female lead, is excited to spend the summer break from college back on the ranch she holds dear with the father she adores. What she is not expecting is the sexy new farm hand, Chase, or the never-before experienced feelings he immediately stirs within her.
Eventually the two gave in to their attraction, and then they became sweetly yet explosively inseparable. Life for the would-be murdered is, of course, never that simple and solving the mystery while being unsure who to trust threatened to tear Lauren and Chase apart. Chase had a protective streak a mile wide which Lauren challenged with her equally wide stubborn streak, resulting in some pretty memorable scenes. Trust me, you need to read those.
I will say I personally did not care for Isaac, Lauren's father. I found him to be stiflingly old fashioned and archaic. I get the parental need to protect one's young, but he took it to silly extremes, in my opinion. Lauren was nearly 21 in the story, not 16. I enjoyed the rest of the book enough to simply ignore him and his antics and therefor I didnt deduct a star for my dislike; especially because it was a personal dislike and did not rule the story.
I liked this book, quite a lot, and I would heartily recommend it to others! Give it a try and you, too, will fall in love under a Montana sky alongside these characters!

Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop are both in my favourite author group and so the the concept of them writing collaboratively was very appealing to me and , oh boy, was I right! This is a fantastic suspenseful book with a believable storyline that will keep you on your toes/biting your nails as you read the adventure of Chester who is a billionaire who just manages to escape from being murdered by unknown thugs. They think that he's dead but he goes on the run and calls himself Chase , looking for work on a run down farm. The farmer, Isaac, employs him with the warning to keep away from his stunning 21 year old daughter, Lauren. But he didn't tell Lauren to keep away from Chase!! The way they have composed this story draws you into the "life" of these two who seem to have "instalust" for each other and disregard her dad. Chase tries to keep his secrets from Lauren as he doesn't want her to be involved in case she gets hurt. But she cares too much and knows he's not always being straight with her so she does some sleuthing. The attraction between the two is very obvious and I'm just surprised her dad didn't get rid of him straight away but they try to keep it to themselves and the scenes are written beautifully although you will probably need a cool drink and a fan or air con on. This was not just a love story and so it was even more entertaining to read. I enjoyed the suspense of who, what and why as well as the passion between Chase and Lauren.. This is the first time that these two authors have co-authored and I sincerely hope it won't be the last as this book is so special with both very talented writers working together to give us a rip roaring read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to their next venture together please! I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Chester Donahue had no idea what life had in store for him when he answered a knock at his door. In a matter of minutes, life as he knew it was over and he had no idea why he had been beaten, dragged and dropped over the edge of a cliff into a river and left for dead. Fast forward three weeks and he is working as a ranch hand at Little Peace Ranch for minimum wages and a barn roof over his head but he was grateful to be alive and "under the radar". He needed to heal his body and stay out of sight before he started looking into the attack and this was a good place to start. Mr. Calver owns the ranch. When he hired "Chase" he told him he had one rule: Don't touch my daughter. Sounds easy enough but that was before he met her.
Lauren cooks and helps out where ever she can around the ranch but since "Chase" (Chester's undercover name) showed up on the place, she has been a little distracted. Ranch life used to be peaceful...now, peace is unattainable. It doesn't take long for the two of them to figure out there is chemistry but they need to be sure her dad is not aware of their attraction...a difficult task in such a small place.
The mystery of who tried to kill Chase and why, is hidden from the reader for quite a while There is so much going on, the reader is kept busy flipping pages, looking for clues and answers to so many questions. There are plenty of surprises, some teeth-clinching moments, a fair dose of heat and no cliffhangers. What's not to like? I am a fan of Emily Bishop and Kira Blakely and when these two team up, it's pure enjoyment, cover to cover.

This is story with intrigue, backstabbing, love, lying, redemption and healing. Chester is at his family’s cabin and one night out of now where four men come knocking and take him and drag him through the woods and push him over the cliffs thinking they killed him. While out on his own he finds a farm to help work on and hide out. Isaac hires him and gives him one rule, stay away from his daughter, Lauren. Chester tells them his name is Chase and he tries to hide who he really is but Lauren is one smart cookie! Lauren is 20 years old virgin with brains and strength. There is a connection from the beginning and both have a hard time staying away from one another so they don’t and do the sparks fly. One day Chase’s past catches up with him and Isaac threats Chase and he leaves but with a stubborn Lauren along for the ride. I loved how Lauren thought of Chase and knew what he needed to resolve his damaged life. Chase makes a hard decision thinking its for the best but Lauren knows what the deal is and does what she does best, gets knee deep in it ALL! Uncle Terrence is one mean man with a bunch of mob goons to protect him. Can he be removed before his has eliminated all those who can take away his power? Will Lauren cause more harm and endangered her or Chase? Will Chase have enough time to figure out what really happened and stay alive? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Wow! Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop have created hot, exciting fast moving story that kept me swiping those pages wanting to see how this crazy sexy madness would end!
Chase( Chester) and the farm owners daughter Lauren become entangled in each other lives when Chase shows up on her father Issac's ranch looking for work, the sketchy details of Chase's past are warning signs to Lauren, but the attraction between them overrides the warning signs until she is too deep. Not backing out she is in to help Chase with the darkness that follows him, she is willing to put her life on the line, and her fathers respect in the process. Will it all be worth it in the end?
Insta-Rush, Insta-All! Loved that suspenseful, sexy feel, and the grittiness to the story.The dramatic vibe was there but not overdone (THANK YOU ) engaging secondary characters that helped keep the story following. IMO an excellent explanation of the whole ordeal ( a huge pet peeve, go through this complete mystery," have the answers" get to the closing, then I still have no real knowledge as to why.) Got to say I was all in with this book! This author duo has a hit on their hands!
I look forward to more collaborations from them in the future!

He wakes up being carried through the woods; as he makes his move to escape, he misses the gun and is kicked in the stomach. None of them will answer his questions as to why? Whoever is paying them has paid them well. They won’t even negotiate a higher price offer to let him go. They stop and punch him in the same spot they had kicked him, incapacitating him, and toss him over a cliff into the icy water.
After the attempt on his life, Chase needs to find shelter. He hides out at a ranch where he can work and stay out of sight until he can figure out who wants him dead. The rancher’s daughter, Lauren, back from college on break, is off-limits, naturally. But sparks fly and staying out of trouble becomes more difficult. So who wants him dead? And why? And what’s going to happen when Lauren’s father steps into the situation?
I fell in love with this story after reading two pages! Wow, the mystery is laid out and the pace accelerates! I was glued to the pages to see what would happen next! These authors, awesome individually, are dynamite together! The story was powerful and exciting. I can’t wait for the next one! Yes, ladies, I am well and truly hooked!

Chase aka Chester is hiding after someone tried to kill him so he ended up working as a farmhand. Lauren is the farmer's daughter and her first glimpse of Chase he is in his naked glory washing up in the creek. When Chase and Lauren first meet sparks fly and the fires are continually stoked throughout the story until finally Chase can't hold back anymore. He breaks the one rule set for him on the farm don't sleep with the farmer's daughter. Lauren knows Chase is hiding something so she follows him and catches him meeting someone. That leads her to learning about his real identity and to confront him about it. Chase has feelings for Lauren but because of his circumstances he can't really do much about them. He is tired of hiding so when the people behind is murder attempt almost find him he decides to take matters into his own hands. Will Chase discover who wants him dead? Can he and Lauren make a go of their relationship?
I loved this story it catches you from page one with the drama and keeps you turning pages trying to find out who was behind the murder attempt. This was a great collaboration by two amazing authors I can't wait to read more by them in the future. Another five star hit.

Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop aren't new authors for me, but this duet is new for me and I loveeeeee it.
This book is about a billionaire in the run and a brave smart farmgirl.
It hit me with suspense from the beginning and from then I can't put this down.
This book is full of actions, suspense and mystery and don't forget all the love and all the hot stuff.
So may twists and surprises every corner, and I always expecting something bad happen in the next page.
So yeah this book is very exciting and I loveeee it a lot.
As for characters. I love Chase, even he's a billionaire, he nver shows he's the spoiled silver spoon kid. He works hard and will do anything to fix the problems and always protect everyone he loves.
And Lauren. I love this brave, smart, feisty farmgirl. Love how she left the comfort behind to fight for her love.
This couple definitely one of my fav couple. Love how they love grows and love their banter. This couple bring a big smile on my face and their relationship warms my heart.
If you love suspense romance, you might love this one.

It was a really good read that kept you on your toes wondering how Chase (Chester), billionaire on the run, and Lauren, farmer's virgin daughter, survive to the end with their lives and love intact. Lauren is very attracted to Chase and vice versa but he promised her father not to touch his daughter. Chase is hiding out from the goons who want to kill him for his inheritance/business. Lauren finds out and she becomes protective of him and helps him out. The goons find him faster than he thought they would and Lauren becomes a target for the enemy's leverage.
I recommend this super steamy, thriller of a ride, love story. You will not be disappointed. I've read these authors individually. Kira brings a darker theme to Emily's style. Emily brings the brightness to the darker theme. Together they write a thrilling love story!

When some men show up and are pretty sure they killed Chester Donahue they go home unaware that he survived. Chester not knowing who or why someone wanted him dead finds himself on a farm with Issac and Lauren, Issac’s daughter. Issac is pretty easygoing except his one rule to stay away from his daughter but after Lauren sees Chase as he calls himself she can’t stay away. When a policeman shows up asking for him and then some thugs Lauren decides to follow Chase and she gets way more than she bargained for but she will also gain something. As Chase begins to find out what’s going on the danger to Lauren and himself are becoming dire so Chase leaves but Lauren is not going to let the man she is beginning to love go alone. This book was pretty quiet at the beginning but it heated up pretty quickly and Lauren had a lot of guts to do the things she did. This is a great edge of your seat read in fact I read it all at once.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I couldn't get enough of this book. Right from the start it hooked me. Chester is drunk, staying in the family cabin out in the middle of nowhere, when several big nasty looking guys show up to kill him. He ends up surviving and hides out at a farm as a ranch hand to recover and figure out who wants him dead.
Lauren has been away to college and when she comes home she sees a naked guy bathing in their pond. Unable to control her self she continues to spy on him and getting really turned on. When she learns he's been hired by her dad she doesn't know what to think. On one hand he excites her more than any other guy has. And on the other she doesn't believe he is who he says. She noticed all the wounds and bruises on him. Can Lauren learn to trust "Chase" and give in to her feelings? Will Chester aka "Chase" learn who wants him dead and why. This story is full of suspense and hot steamy scenes. I would recommend this book.

For me, this book started off quite slow and it was hard to get into. But as I kept reading, I started getting more and more intrigued. Once it started getting to the suspenseful parts, that’s when it became a great book to me! After that, I really enjoyed all parts of it. The characters and the storyline were really good and well written.
I gotta say that I really liked Lauren. Even though she knew it was dangerous, she kept going after Chase and wasn’t going to let him decide that he was going to face his troubles without her. Not the typical damsel in distress, which is awesome!!
I would highly recommend one-clicking this book. It was a great collaboration between two fabulous authors!!

Untouchable by Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop is a well written romantic suspense. This story is filled with more than just hot and steamy sequences. It also includes a mix of drama, suspense and intrigue making this a well rounded story bursting from the pages. I didn't care for Chase's character at the start, but he quickly morphed and developed into a formidable male specimen that could not be denied in any way, shape or form. Lauren was a perfect woman to add against Chase's dynamic in the story. She was strong in her own right, but she has many soft and caring aspects, as well. I loved how this story pulled you in and kept you fully engaged until the end. This story has much more than what is given in the summary!!

In this book we meet Chase Donahue he is on the run from people who want him dead for his family fortune. We also meet Lauren who is the daughter of a rancher who without knowing who he really is takes in Chase Donahue. Though they both know they need to stay away from one another they can't stop the pull they both feel. Will they get a chance at a HEA or will the people after Chase stop that before they even get their chance?
This book is amazing full of ups and downs that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There is so much I want to tell you but don't want to give any of the twists away. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Well written story with great storyline and plot. I really enjoyed this book. I am a big fan of both Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop and have read several books by them. Lauren and Chester were great together. They are well described and develops nicely. Well written story. Has lots of chemistry. I was hooked from the very beginning of the story! All characters are believable. The storyline is intense. This book is great, a must-read. I look forward to more books by these awesome ladies.
It is written in dual POV which gives the readers both thoughts and feelings of the main characters. Some twist that gives it the five star review.

What do you get when you put together two amazing authors? An awesome story, that's what!
This story with Lauren and Chase/Chester was filled with mystery, action, adventure, bravery and romance. Lauren is a very strong woman and will do anything to keep her love safe. Chase has to figure out who and why someone wanted to kill him.
This story had a lot of double meaning dialogues and a lot of scenes had me laughing out loud. Lauren's obit search had me laughing because my friend likes to do that, read obits.

This is a great murder/romance story.
The protagonists, billionaire Chase, on the run after witnessing his family torn apart and is hiding out on a farm where Lauren, daughter of the farmer lives. Together they will piece together what happened to his family and who is responsible all the while falling in love. But is it enough?
The author wrote a compelling story that kept me engaged throughout the book. The characters were well-written.
I am recommending this book for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

What a great book. Bring together Kira with Emily just works. I hope they will write another soon they make a great team. This book satisfied all my reading needs. It was packed full of romance, hot steamy scenes, mystery, suspense and so much more. Chase is being chased by someone trying to kill hom and he’s laying low trying to figure out who it is. Lauren is on college break back home on the ranch with her father. When these 2 meet their attraction is instant and intense. This book just keeps pulling you in. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed this one, seeing how Chase adapts to his altered circumstances, trying to stay alive and work out who wants him dead. Then there is Lauren, she's a strong willed young woman who is attracted to but challenges Chase at every turn. I absolutely loved their interactions, their chemistry was so hot!
Falling in love whilst not knowing who you can trust, well falling in love at all for someone like Chase is not easy. Solving the situation, staying alive and winning the girl are all not easy but how this book is written kept me sitting on the edge of my seat until I'd finished it. You MUST read this one.

Chase finds out that he's wanted dead. He's dragged into the woods, and thrown over a cliff, and still survives. By the time he makes it back to civilization, everyone believes he is dead. He's determined that he'll find out who's behind it, but first he has to figure out who. While figuring it all out he takes a job as a farmhand. His only stipulation is to not touch the farmers daughter.
There's immediate heat when Lauren sees Chase, The pull between these two cannot be denied.
This is a good fun read, along with drama and suspense in with your love...

Touch me any time... especially after a meeting like that. Chase is a man on the run, and it just so happens that he winds up washing up on the shore naked as the day he was born. Lauren just so happens to be the one with the luck to find him. Chase winds up hiding out as a hand on Lauren's father's farm. The couple have an intense chemistry, and things boil over one day (finally!). Feeling grow, but there is one very big secret, and serious baggage, that keeps this pair apart. It's an exciting read as the action heats up, and we get some badly wanted resolution. Excellent and exciting read for sure. Highly recommend. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book! it was the story of Chase/ Chester and Lauren. Chase is attacked and left for dead at his cabin in the woods, He survived and tries to find out who wanted him dead and why. Until he can find the truth, he hides at a ranch working as a ranch hand. Lauren is the rancher's daughter and Chase has already been warned to stay away from her by her father. Lauren and Chase have a connection and when she sees his injuries, she knows something isn't right and wants to know Chase's secrets. I really liked this book and the twists, as well as the dangers and how Chase and Lauren cope. I couldn't put it down. Great one.

What a great collaboration between Kira Blakely and Emily Bishop. These two authors did a fantastic job with this story. Their writing styles complimented one another very well and made for an easy, seamless read. It had all the elements needed to keep the reader engaged and interested: emotion, suspense, mystery, and steamy sexy times.

Lauren is curious about Chase’s past, especially since he is so tight lipped about it, and the story he told her father seems a little sketchy. Unbeknownst to both Chase and Lauren, trouble is heading their way just as things between them start heating up.

I really loved this book. Has all of the needed components of a entertaining read. Troubled Billionaire, Check. Pure Innocent Virgin, Check. Intrigue, Check. Sexual Tension, Check. Adventure, Check. Insurmountable Odds, Check. Steamy Sex, Check HEA, Check! The only issue I had with the story was the fact they kept calling the Dad, Isaac old, the picture I conjured up was this 70+ man that was headed to declining health - and then they actually pin an age on him...of 54!!?? seriously?? If your 8, 54 might seem old... just saying! But don't let it keep from reading the book, it was great ride.

I was happy to see that they had written this book together. Lauren and Chester(Case) were great and were well written and had a lot of chemistry. I was hooked from the very beginning Amazing story and wonderful writing! All characters are three-dimensional and believable. The storyline is intense, it's gripping in the best sense of the word. This book is great, a must-read. I look forward to more books by these awesome ladies. I loved the HEA!
