The book itself was rather basic, like saying there are many people in cities then reiterating that fact every chapter, but the chapter headings were interesting enough that my class was able to create their own cities, while drawing their attention to points such as where does a city get its water and how is it cleaned? What other (with less pollution) transportation is available? What are the benefits of building up vs building out? Etc.
So for our purposes, it was good.
