ONLY FOR...

Landry Cole's life began when she was nine. Until then the day-to-day turmoil of her early childhood was the stuff of nightmares. Her father, his wife, and all her aunts and uncles showed Landry unconditional love, and under their care, she bloomed. But she never forgot. Fast forward to the fifth year of her surgical residency, and from the outside, Landry's got it going on. Inside, loneliness and betrayal color her life until she meets the outrageous and daring Clashing Swell drummer, Brody Frost.

THE SHORT TERM

Brody's life was golden. He surfed every morning, his band, Clashing Swell, had just signed with RiffRaff records, and he was free from emotional attachments. Until he met Landry Cole. To say she took his breath away was an understatement. But she was a princess to rock royalty, and Brody was no one from no where. Sure, the tour the band was about to undertake would change all that, but he wanted Landry now. When she told him they were short term, she wasn't going to be a tour widow, he thought he'd take whatever she would give him. Little did he know she was about to give him everything.

I live in Austin, Texas with my husband, daughter, 3 rescue dogs, 1 cat, and one bunny (that doesn't seem to like us). I love reading romance novels as much as I love writing them. I feel like inspiration can come from anywhere; a song lyric, a quote, a weekend with friends. The tiniest things can spark amazing stories.

This is my first time reading author L.P. Maxa and I have to say I loved the RiffRaff Records series latest book Infamy. I was afraid that I would have to know what the other books were about to get into this book but not the case, this was a standalone book in the series and I literally dove into this story and was immediately involved in Landry and Brody’s story.
The attraction between these two is intense and immediate; drummer Brody is hot and funny. Landry is all serious and not sure if the attraction will stay the course of time. There are several twists and turns in the story that had me wondering if this fling turned serious would crash and burn but I could tell the romance was a keeper. The main characters are likeable, they are real, and they are fun and sweet. I knew that because I got into this story so fast, I would immediately go back and read the other stories in this series because the writing was fantastic and the plotline was tight and great. Also the secondary characters made this story more insanely awesome. Brody’s bandmates were hawt!! I cant wait to read their stories because I know their stories will be so good!! All I can say is this is a story that started out as a fling and ended up as so much more .There are twists and turns with a fabulous ending. L.P. has a new fan based off this book, that’s how great the latest RiffRaff story is. I recommend it highly!!

I loved Brody. He was such a charismatic character and I was constantly looking forward to what would come out of his mouth next!

Not expecting the pregnancy. What a twist. When Landry told us she was five weeks pregnant I had to read it three times until I believed it.

Fuck, the sex was hot.

All the questions regarding the paternity of the baby were fascinating to me. I got really nervous they were going to tear up that envelope. I would have cried.

Maxa’s writing is great. Not only does she effectively paint the picture for you, her dialogue is witty and realistic. The pacing of the story was also on point.

You can definitely read this as a stand-alone, but now that I have, I’m interested in reading the rest of the series too.

Once again L.P. Maxa doesn't let her fans down! I absolutely loved Infamy! It is the story of Brody, an up and coming rockstar who's band is signed with RiffRaff records, and Landry, a surgeon and daughter to Jacks(of Devil's Share) and Bryan. There is just so much to really like about this story.....the glimpses of the Devil's Share family, the hot and steamy sexy time, and the funny banter, especially in the text messages between Brody and Landry. It was a joy watching these two grow as a couple and watch the Brody stepped up like a real man. Such a beautiful HEA but I was sad because I didn't want the book to end.

This was a darn good book. From beginning to end Brody was my favorite and had me laughing from the first wink. Who would have thought that a twenty-three year old drummer had that much maturity and fight up in him. Landry, truly being Jacks daughter, did not stand a chance and knew in her heart of hearts that she was done for. Secrets are always meant to be revealed but fighting thoughts of your own past can be a little too much to bear.

Infamy is a must read and LP Maxa delivered on the truthisms, jealousy, and pure evilness with conceit. Reads remember, I choked him first.

This book was everything. EVERYTHING! Brody and Landry were perfect. He was pee my pants funny and their banter was Oddly sweet.

We got to see a little more of the ‘rents when they stepped in, or in Luke’s case, over stepped, to help Laundry out.

The sex was hot AF and made me want Brody all to myself.

Brody and Laundry’s story was a little more lighthearted than the last book. It still had its twists and some drama, but overall it was a feel good read that left me feeling giddy and a school girl with her first crush.

Hey book whores, if you want to follow me, you can find me here

Infamy is book three in the riff raff records series. Although I love all of this series so far, this book is my favourite. As soon as an arc of this book landed on my kindle, I dived in. I read this book in one sitting in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I enjoyed every moment of this story and was satisfied with the ending. Without giving anything away, I was ecstatic with the results of the test. I usually struggle to connect to a story when the heroine is older then the hero but I didn’t with this book. I adored Landry and Brody as a couple. The chemistry and passion between them was through the roof. I liked that Brody and Landry couldn’t keep their hands off one another. I liked the friendship Landry made with Minka and Wes. I wasn’t a fan of Dr French; I truly wanted to kick him where it hurts. He was a real douche canoe. I was glad that he got what he deserved in the end.
I liked Talon and the rest of the band. I liked that there was no resentment towards Landry. I would love to see/read more of them. I really enjoyed the texts between Brody and Landry; I really liked that aspect of this book.
I was cheering Brody on when he finally snapped and made his feelings and the truth known. I loved Luke’s bond with Landry and his intensions but he even annoyed me a little when he kept pushing Talon on Landry.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Who knew that a chance meeting at a rock concert could ignite such a spark between two people and set off a chain of events that would affect both of them for the rest of their lives. The attraction between drummer Brody and surgeon Landry is undeniable from the moment they set eyes on each other. What starts out as a fling, a bit of fun, soon turns into more than they ever imagined.

From the moment I started reading Infamy I was hooked. Brody and Landry are so likeable, fun and funny, sexy and sweet. I love Brody's humour, his cheeky character, with a side of dirty talk, and most of all the way he doesn't run in the opposite direction at the first sign of trouble. I really liked the rest of his band mates too, the good natured banter and support they gave each other was perfect. Landry's humour is more subtle than Brody's but just as funny. She is a self sufficient, hard working, strong and feisty woman but not one who likes to cause unnecessary drama. However, drama finds her in the form of ex Travis French, a villain if ever I saw one. I couldn't wait to see if he got his just desserts.

I love Brody and Landry. The chemistry between this gorgeous couple is hot and there are many well written fantastically steamy moments. This is such a good book, I couldn't help but cheer these two on. The sexy times, the emotions and the way these characters faced their challenges made this a wonderful story I enjoyed so much I didn't want it to end.

This book does not disappoint! I love it so much!

The third RiffRaff records book is centered around Landry Cole and Clashing Swell’s Brody Frost.

Can I just say I freaking LOVE Brody! His dirty, crass sweet talking had me falling in love with him!

His band mates, especially Talon were so laid back and chill. LP Max’s has a way with secondary characters for sure! She always leaves me with wanting to know more about them and having they own stories!!!

I can freaking wait until the next book!!!

4 1/2 stars for this cute story - Brody is a sweetheart, I thought he handled the situation in a realistic matter (although his use of the word "Totes" took him down a peg for me) Loved Landry and her relationship with Uncle Luke brought a smile to my face. I would suggest a family tree in the front of the book, just in case no one knows Devil's Share and who belongs to who.

Just can't get enough of the Spawn

I've held a soft spot for Landry from the moment she came into Jacks' life. She was tiny but fierce. Forced to grow up much faster than any child should, she was strong and brave but still vulnerable. We see that in her as an adult. She finds herself pregnant and unsure if the baby belongs to her pretentious jerk of an ex or her cute, sweet but immature rock star hook up Brody. Her bravery and strength as well as her stubbornness make it difficult to accept the help and support her family wants to offer. And her vulnerability and insecurities from her rough start in life make it difficult for her to accept that the unlikely immature rockstar could be just what she needs. There are moments when you want to shake some sense in to her. Plenty of swoon worthy moments from the sweet and sexy Brody. This installment of the riff raff series was much more light hearted than the two previous books even though it deals with a big life changing situation. A great a addition to the stories of the Spawn. I can't wait to see who comes next.

Infamy is about Landry the oldest of the Devil’s Share spawn. She’s the smart one, the one that has it all together, the surgeon to be. She is pregnant but who is the baby daddy, she slept with two guys in a matter of ten days. Is it her lying cheating ex or the guy she really likes? How you tell the person you really like, you might be pregnant but it might not be his?

Landry was always one of my favorite characters, especially when she was young in the Devil’s Share series! She is focus and her life maybe turned upside down. Brody the crazy ass drummer, that does the most stupidest craziest things. He is a surfer boy that everyone thinks is young and irresponsible. I loved Landry and Brody chemistry. This book was funny, because hey Brody is awesome like that. You get to see how the family deals with this news. You know everybody has got an opinion coming from the compound. You will find out more secrets and lies that are being wide open. This one was slight angst, on the milder side. If you loved Landry like I did definitely read this one. I absolutely loved her story.

Awesome read

Love rocker stories! Brody & Landry’s story was great - enjoyed the baby daddy’s point of view. The tight knit family is a little much, but because the story itself is good, it can be overcome.

I had read this author a long time ago, and had forgotten about the series. This book is about the second generation of The Devil's Share rock band. I am excited to revisit old friends. I liked her style. Since this is part of a series, and although it can stand alone, there’s a lot of details about Landry’s family that would have added richness to the story. Even so, this story was great and I loved the characters.
Landry is a fifth-year resident in General Surgery at a hospital in Florida. She’s run ragged but that’s normal for her residency. She took a break, directed by one of her aunts, and went to see a show of a rising rock band, Clashing Swell. She liked the look of the drummer, crazy and talented and he seemed to like her too, because he kept looking at her on the side-wing of the stage. After the show they ran away to a cleaning closet and had a little sex fest, then they went to Landry’s apartment and had a sexathon. They had incredible chemistry and got along well when they were not in bed. Such was their chemistry that they decided to keep on banging each other until Brody left for their year-long tour, handled by Landry’s family, the owners of RiffRaff Entertainment.
During these weeks of the fling, you could see how things got deeper and more meaningful. Not surprising because Brody was young but a very decent guy and Landry was a workaholic but loved the sex and the company. Then, bang, Landry is pregnant and she doesn’t know who the father is. Three days before she started sleeping with Brody, she had slept with her ex-douche boyfriend, and broken with him on the same day when she caught him cheating.
The book is fraught with the struggle of both these special persons. Landry had the conflict of not knowing which was the father, the douche ex, who was also an attending surgeon at her hospital, or Brody, who was leaving soon in a world wide tour. She didn’t want to have anything to do with the ex, even less having to be nice to him for the next eighteen years of co-parenting, and she was falling for Brody but he was just getting started in his career and had a lot of living to do. Brody was twenty-three to Landry’s twenty eight years old, so that was another factor.
Once Brody learns that Landry is pregnant but the baby might not be his, he has the struggle of what to feel, what to do. He’s also falling for Landry, and he would love to have a baby with her. He would be there for her and the baby. If the baby wasn’t his….. he wasn’t sure what he would feel.
I loved that a lot of the plot is done through text messages. They were so cute in their texting, and from the start you could see there was feeling, not just lust. Landry’s family is big, dysfunctional and interfeeing. She had a hard time keeping them at bay so they wouldn’t learn of the situation. Brody’s band members were supporting and gave him the space to deal with the situation and gave him a hard time when he had doubts about loving a baby that was not his. Landry had to deal with a hard pregnancy, lots of puking, dehydration, a demanding job, and if it wasn’t for Brody, it would have been impossible to do. There were lots of drama, lots of laughs, lots of cute, sexy and funny texting, and short love scenes. Thank you author, for not subjecting me to ten-pages love scenes, but rather developing an awesome love story about an awesome couple.
Great book, great characters, great big family. If one could have read the previous books it would have added to the experience, but this book really stands alone because the characters are that great.

I really enjoyed L.P. Maxa's Devil's Share series so I was really excited that she decided to continue writing in this world with the RiffRaff Records spin-off series. Infamy is the third book in this spin-off series, but you do not need to have read the previous books to understand this one. I would recommend reading both the Devil's Share series and the previous RiffRaff Records books for full enjoyment though if you can as they are great stories and really help you to know these characters better.

As the daughter of a rocker from Devil's Share, Landry has been determined to forge her own path. Her childhood still affects her, but now surrounded by her family with their unwavering support she is in her fifth year of surgical residency. But when her uncle asks her to come out for the night to see the band Clashing Swell, she knows she can't turn him down. She never expects to feel the instant attraction and connection she does to their wild boy drummer, Brody Frost. But with him heading out on tour soon and her not having time for anything more, they both agree to a secret fling. What happens when it starts to become more for both of them though?

I loved these two. Landry was awesome! Smart and determined, the kind of girl that would be cool to hang out with in real life. She was genuine and the kind of heroine that makes reading fun. Brody was irresistible. He is a bit of a wild one, but he quickly becomes a new man with Landry. He is sexy and charming, but he was also so sweet and had me swooning the whole way through. I loved the connection and chemistry between these two and just couldn't get enough of them. Seeing how they were with one another is something that I think readers are going to really enjoy.

Overall, this story is one of my favorites that I have read from L.P. Maxa though I have enjoyed everything I have read from her. Brody and Landry are two of my favorite characters and I just really loved their story. This is one of these feel good books that you just don't want to put down and at the end are left with a smile having really enjoyed the book from start to finish. I can't wait to read more from L.P. Maxa in the future, and I highly recommend Infamy.

Infamy is definitely a must read!! So much humour especially towards the end during the last month of Landry's pregnancy. So hilarious!!
Brody is a drummer for the Clashing Swell. Known for some of his antics on stage.
Landry is a five year surgeon. She breaks up with her boss, arrogant, self centered douchebag Dr. Cole after catching him cheat on her with another nurse at the hospital.
Days later Landry's Uncle Luke invites her to attend a concert where she catches the eye of bad boy drummer, Brody. After the concert, she finds herself in the janitor's closet with the bad boy. After their quickie, they agree to see each other secretly until he goes back on tour.
Oops! Now Landry is pregnant. Who is the father? Brody or her ex? Can Brody raise another man's child? Will Dr. Cole step up to his responsibilities?
I really enjoyed this romcom and would definitely recommend this book!

What a rollercoaster ride of emotions!!
This is one of those must-read books that will stay with you long after you close the pages
I absolutely loved Brody if ever there was a man who grasped every moment and made it memorable it is him! He lives like he plays - hard fast and in perfect time with the universe and dang if I don't want to keep him
Landers - She is so sweet, strong, down to earth and straight up relateable - her ex though that boy needs his heart to grow a few sizes!
I do not know how to describe how real the characters felt in this story - it was so easy to connect with them and to get lost in the scenes and the moments -
I read a complimentary copy, this is the third book in the series -it can be read as a standalone

5 HOT DRUMMER STARS!! Loved Infamy so much, I could not put it down. What more can you ask for, but a sweet super sexy drummer. This rockstar Brody has beat the drums to my heart as my new book boyfriend. Landry is a beautiful strong woman that is a surgeon. You would never think these two would have the hots for each other, but your pages will be sizzling. This is my first book by L.P. Maxa and she has won a new reader, I can't wait to read more by her. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
