I kinda steered away from this Spideypool fic (Spiderman/Deadpool) at first because of the super kinky tags, since that's something I'm not always into, but then I tried it and....I loved it. Like. I LOVED this fic.
It has some of the most "meaningful" sex/intimacy I've read. Like, latent latent meaning during (very explicit) sexy times. I loved the pacing, the different ways the POVs shifted to different characters and what you, as the reader, learns with each shift, what it means when you're in Deadpool's head vs. Peter's, where Peter is an unreliable narrator for himself, and how that's noticed by Wade, how the whole fic is structured, and how it flows, each character's voice and how realized they felt within the story, Etc. This is a fic where I feel compelled to read multiple times (and it's 70k+ words long!) and get more and more out of each time, which leads me to think the author put a lot of thought into writing it. (It was written for a challenge where you post the whole thing at once, so probably easier to keep structure/story under control that way than say, when one writes a serial over a period of time.)
Also, I love it when writers do Deadpool well, and the author's Deadpool here is fast, with lots of references buried within all his thinking and dialogue. It made reading him really really interesting.
Super good, and one of my faves for the pairing. I usually a steer towards stories that are plot-heavy, and this is probably one of the few where the sex/intimacy and relationship progression WAS the plot, and I didn't find it at all boring.
Heads-up though--LOTS of sex included here. The first part is basically four different sex scenes (out of order within their relationship, meaning the timeline skips around), but it all makes sense, and all becomes very meaningful in the end.
Recommended if you like this pairing, and don't mind dipping into something explicit.

September 20, 2023 FALL OUT BOY SO I CAN FALL IN (TO YOU)… This archiveofourown.com spiderpool fanfiction is one of the best pieces of erotic literature I’ve read. There’s so much relatable content from the characters, especially this character of Spider-man that I can relate too so, so much. If you’re a fan of Spider-man and Deadpool and their relationship from the Marvel comics, then you’ll love this fanfiction about them. Very erotic and hot, of course, but there aspects too it which makes so warm and everything in between. I dunno if this review makes any sense but goddamn, I’ve literally been reading this fic 2 times every year because it’s so, so good. Happy reading!
