When four friends head off to Mexico, little do they know that this trip will change all of their lives forever. What happens in Mexico stays in Mexico as they completely go loco in Acapulco. This is one trip that they will never forget. This book contains lots of Tequila, hot stuff, boat trips and wild nights. One week of hilarious fun with life-changing consequences.
S J Crabb lives in the UK in the South of England and when she isn't writing feels pressured to go to the nearby Zumba class because apparently, that's what you should do these days. She has featured in many bestseller charts on Amazon and her books have been enjoyed around the world. I have yet to read an S.J. Crabb novel that I have not absolutely loved! This latest story tells the tale of Becca, a stewardess, and her friends spending a week in Mexico. From the in-flight drama to the hilarious vacation antics this book adds up to a whole lot of fun from beginning to end! I highly recommend!
Well written, but too many love at first sights going on. An ok read for kindle unlimited but it would have been disappointing if it cost me extra money.
Here’s what this book is about:”Typical, when I meet the man of my dreams—he is on his honeymoon. This is the story of my life. Most of my time is spent working and the only excitement I get is re-organising a cupboard on my day off. I get my kicks from watching reality TV and talking to my potted plant Malcolm. My family is desperate to marry me off to just about anybody because I am known locally as the weird one because I’m still single at 30. Tinder is no longer my friend and I am in serious need of a life makeover. So, to escape my sad and lonely life I organised a trip away with my four closest friends. Far from being a relaxing week of sun, sand, sea, and tequila it quickly descends into chaos. Who knew that one week away would change so many lives forever? PS: If you’ve ever wondered what your Cabin Crew get up to on a stopover—prepare to never look at them in the same way again.”
I enjoyed this book. It was so much fun and I liked the friendship between the characters.
Boring, poorly written, no strong female characters, and the male characters weren’t much better.
Worst part about the book? *spoiler* the fact that the main character was that selfish she couldn’t care less that her friend had been missing for over 24 hours in Mexico and no one knew where he was?! She actually forgot he was missing!!! Seriously, if I was him I’d can her off for some better friends!

It was entertaining. A lot of fun in the sun, a lot of partying, a lot of alcohol. But a bit OTT in some places. I couldn’t fully relate, I couldn’t fully FEEL it. So I did like it, but it never became love. Maybe it had to do with the ending: although there is a HEA, the end felt so rushed. Suddenly a huge leap in time, it was too fast for me. So the ending let it down, but overall I did enjoy it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and voluntarily posted an honest review.
If one thing needs to be said it is this.....S J Crabb writes a wonderful story that has so many interconnecting stories in it that it is like reading quite a few books at once! All the people in this story are main characters because they all have a tale to tell and all get their chance!!! Just read this book and you will be as hooked as I am!!!
What an absolute waste of time this book was. I don't understand how it's got 4 stars on kindle? It's like it's been written by a child, so many inaccuracies, spelling and grammar mistakes, contradictions and repetitions and really poor use of language. The protagonist is annoying and self centred (doesn't even care that her friend is missing), the storyline is predictable and very unrealistic, and it wasn't funny at all. Wish kindle did refunds.
Having spent many years as a travel agent, my love of travel drew me to this book. I also found the characters likeabld and believable. I was pleased by the lack of what I call "stupid misunderstandings" that are so common in this type of book. There were a lot of just happy moments, when the group was together. All in all, it was an enjoyable read.
Some might say this is a great "beach read", but I read this during a long and very cold winter. It was fun to escape to warm, sunny Acapulco in the pages of this book. Four flight attendants, two pilots and a passenger live it up for a week on vacation. A hot romance blooms but will it fizzle once the trip is over?
Although I have enjoyed other books by this author, this was awful. I can't even explain why. It's the first book I've given up on and I've read some crap over the years! Think I'll stick with Melanie Summers as her 3 'Royal' rom coms were really enjoyable.
Absolutely loved this book, just like I love this author. Lots of twists and turns, and kept me up way past my bedtime each night as I struggled to put it down. And another book to give me hope I’ll me my Luke someday soon. Thanks for another great read 😊
Light, funny and interesting characters. This is a quick read more fun on a lazy afternoon. I enjoyed the banter among friends especially how each woman represented various personality.
A bit of too-good-to-be-true type of a story. The abruptness of events was strange and then again the sameness was strange. I liked the writing style but the drama and OTT-ness was a bit too much for me.
On the whole though, I am a sucker for happy endings and that is why I liked the book.
Book was okay, it did have some good humor in it, and I love that it was set in Mexico. I liked Luke, Becca was okay she sometimes got on my nerves as well as Marcus and Joe. The ending was really good though I am glad that I read it but it’s not my favorite book iv ever read.
I’m sorry but this book was just hard to read... I felt like I was reading a book for teenage girls so bland and basic. I literally skipped through the whole thing, very repetitive .
The best friends work out an extended layover in Acapulco, for a week, working the flights to and from their vacation. The girls and their gay, funny side kick keep the laughs and action racing. A really sweet book.
This is a wonderful dream come true for a group who had no idea what lay ahead. It changed their lives. What happens on vacation didn’t stay on vacation; it brought them home.
I did enjoy the book. The trip to Mexico sounded amazing. I kept thinking it sounded too good to be true. I think the ending felt a little rushed but overall a good read
