Ellen Carp is inches away from being the youngest managing partner ever at her firm.
The only thing standing in her way is her new boss, Arieon Banks. He's arrogant, lazy...and smoking hot. But if Ellen wants to be a partner, she can't let his dreamy good looks distract her.
But, when Ellen and Arieon get stuck in an elevator together, can she really resist?
Ellen was a self driven woman out to accomplish what she needed to do to make managing partner. When the owner of the company, Elion, overlooked her and put his nephew, Arieon, in charge. She was infuriated and disappointed. Arieon wanted to do a good job but knew nothing about the business. If it was up to Ellen he would never learn. But then things started to change and she began to realize he was a person just like her and he was not so bad. Arieon knew he had a lot to prove but when push came to shove, he was by her side and worked as a team and won a big client for the firm. It was a passionate and steamy affair for both of them and because Ellen kept telling him she wanted "unmessy and uncomplicated" he felt defeated and it was killing her. The story is about her realizing things are not always as they seem and that prejudging someone is not the best way to deal with her problem. When Ellen find out she won’t be the next managing partner where she works, and that she discovers that it will be the nephew’s boss instead, she acts like a real b*tch to him. Until they find themself trap in an elevator. Then she doesn’t know if she wants to hate him or love him. The characters are great, the sex scenes are good, but this simple nice short story seems to be unfinish. I’d liked more chapters to know : « and now, what will they do ? » This book was previously edited ( "6 floors to the top") I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Short and fast passes, Incorporated by Karma Kingsley was an enjoyable read; and one I found reading in just one sitting.
When Ellen thinks she's in for the promotion of her life, she's on cloud nine. That's quickly cut short when she meets the very tall, very sexy yet arrogant Arieon Banks. With mixed emotions and feelings toward the situation she found herself in, she tries her best to rise to the top once again. That is until an incident with the elevator puts her plans on hold. With new clients on the line and a new boss she finds irresistible, will Ellen be able to let her guard down enough to see the different side to Arieon or will she keep trying to sabotage his career to further her own?
I thoroughly enjoyed this in office romance. Some moments had me in fits of laughter and others had me all smitten. I can't wait to see what else this author has in store for me. A great read by an amazing author, I recommend this book.
This was a really good read! I was glad when they finally got it together, although i didnt think it would happen. Her quitting turned out to be the best thing she did. This is my first read by the author and im looking forward to reading more
Not a bad story... the ending was rather abrupt for me I wish it had sent a little more into the story before ending. But I did enjoy what I did read...

Incorporated is a novella that could easily be expanded into a full novel. The storyline is strong. The characters are dynamic. The story starts as a love/hate relationship and ends with a HEA.
Ellen is a powerhouse corporate executive on the move up but quickly stopped by Arieon, her new boss. Arieon & Ellen have a strong chemistry that they can't resist even though they try not blurred the lines of business.
Corporate lawyer Ellen Carp💋💃 is called into a meeting where she is sure her hard work and dedication will reward her with a Partnership. Instead, her boss brings in his nephew Arieon🐺🍆🌋, and tells the group he is turning over the business to him and he's retiring. Arieon🐺🍆🌋 is somewhat of a playboy, and it shows when he is never in the office. Ellen💃💋 is the one running everything. She has a burning resentment for him, despite also being turned on by his tall, lean, hard💪 body. How can it be both? It's a 😠hate 💘love relationship. Their standoff comes to a head when they get stranded in the company elevator late one afternoon. Arieon🐺🍆🌋 takes over and starts kissing Ellen💃💋. The animal attraction between them is overwhelming, and Ellen💃💋 hasn't had a man in a LONG time. YEHAW! Ride em Bareback🍆, Cowgirl🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
Liked the book a lot even though it has a fair number of omitted words and misspellings, plus wrong words throughout. It has a cute, interesting story, that is somewhat different than the normal boss/employee romance. The book is a quick read, about an hour to two hours, so its a great afternoon or evening read! Recommend.
