About the author

Alexis Angel writes steamy contemporary romance about bad boys for the bad girl in all of us. She is still single at 30, in case anyone is interested to know, and still very much looking for love.

Her favorite things in the world are flowers, chocolate, lingerie, high heels, lipstick, perfume, and the credit card award miles that she gets from buying all that.

Prior to writing, Alexis used to be a financial analyst in New York City. She quickly decided that working for a faceless corporation run by men was not her dream job. So she began to write. And as she began to write, she began to use those credit card award miles to travel all over the world.

I enjoyed this journey of Emily and Kirk a bunch, but something felt off from the beginning for me and stayed with me till the end.
I'm happy that they finally got their HEA after all that each one went through. Causal dating is always fun at the same time the trials that each went through was a bit too much however in the end they came together to create a uniqueness you can only know by picking up this book.

This was a story all about two people used to casual dating, leaning towards more but they keep running into misunderstandings. It's a bit angsty, as whenever one pulls in closer, something pushes them more apart. It was also very steamy- the love scenes were oh so yummy. Emily and Kirk totally deserve their hea after all the roadblocks. And they obviously have serious chemistry. I received an arc of this.

Alexis Angel hit it out of the park with this book. This is at the top of the list for my favorite book by her. The story that she has written about her relationship with her man is so amazing and unbelievable. The story of Kirk and Emily touched me from page one. From how they met to defining their relationship and committing to the relationship was so true to life. Throughout the book, I found myself rooting them on. Hoping that they could overcome their commitment phobias that they both possessed. Their journey was one of many obstacles but I loved how they pursued their heart. The book does contain many sexual situations but they are such a big part to their relationship and they make the book so scorching hot. I loved the entire book and this is a must read 5 star book that you will not soon forget. I'm hoping that Alexis writes a sequel to how they end up together for life. Thank you Alexis and Winebar.

I read this book as part of an arc program.. This book is the retelling of the story of Winebar from the newsletter. In this telling Winebar is a man named Kirk who owns a number of bars and meets Emily one night when she comes into his newest bar. Emily is a successful author who is looking for fun and a good time. Emily and Kirk have a great connection and he goes home with her. Both are not looking for a relationship and agree to keep things casual. Emily continues to meet and flirt with other men including one named Freeway. This was a hot telling of the story of Winebar, and is continued from the first installment of the Naughty Lil Angel book. In the second part of this book, we see Kirk invite Emily to meet his family at a BBQ, where she also meets an old girlfriend of Kirk's. At the BBQ, things don't really go as planned and it leads to problems and a couple of misunderstandings that leave both Kirk and Emily questioning what they really want. Well done

This is story of Winebar and the road it took to have that great love. Emily is an adventurous free spirit that doesn't think she's ready to settle down that is until she meets Kirk. Kirk is happy working and having the occasional one night stand or so he thought. Kirk is a total hot alpha male take charge kind of guy and always leaves you wanting more. The sexual heat between Emily and Kirk is hot even to ruin a good kindle. This book gives us it all the drama of the other men, the bbq incident and so much more. Once you start this story you won't want it to end. An amazing love story over a period of time that show that love does exist and can survive. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to lose themselves in an amazing love story.

Oh what a brilliantly written story about Winebar/Kirk. He is one hot sexy guy just looking for one hot sexy girl. What he gets is Emily, an erotic romance writer and she is going to rock his world. Problem is, Emily meets Freeway/Marshall and he seems to rock her world until............. well that’s the surprise.
Emily is torn between two hot sexy men whilst writing her own sexy story and Newsletters. Throw in lots of surprises at a family barbecue and what do you get!!!!!!! A sizzling hot story that you can’t put down. A story of lots of passion, sex, secrets, love, lots more sex and parties and crazy exes and oh I could go on forever. Absolutely loved it.

I really got caught up in this book it was so hot 🔥🔥🔥and at one or more times a vibe was needed to be brought out lol if you are a fan of Alexis Angel and read her news letters than this book is what we have been waiting for from the start to the finish with winebar and her self, it start out so simple just a hook up in a bar that’s so hot and heavy Kirk (winebar) is the owner and while checking in to make sure everything is ok, his eyes fall apon Emily wow hot and sexy he just has to meet her and soon the are heading to her place for a wild night and what a night it was omg 🔥🔥🔥🔥and after there time together they both want more, there was plenty of hot dirty sex and a lot of misunderstandings, I don’t want to say anymore read this book you won’t regret it I loved it. Sexy passionate fun faced paced
A steamy sexy story. I really enjoyed reading this book. This is a story Alexis shared with her fans in her newsletter over the past year. It is loosely based on her meeting of Winebar (Kirk). Emily is the heroine of this book. Of course its sexy would any book by Alexis not be. But its also funny, romantic in a quirky way, and full of the misunderstandings that can happen in a new relationship! Alexis decided to give her readers a little bonus of several stories at the end. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book for my honest review. But I bought because I love the Angel’s stories and so my review would be a verified purchase.

Brace yourselves - things are about to get even hotter! Emily meets Kirk, aka WineBar, and the attraction between them is immediate and mutually arresting. But is this just a one-night stand, a quick fling, or more? When Emily meets Marshall, aka Freeway, she's intrigued and flattered. But who will she choose? I loved reading this pseudo-real, uber sexy story about WineBar and Freeway, both of whom we already feel like we know well from reading about them previously. This story had me in stitches, but it also gave us a romance story as the characters try to figure out what it is they want in life. Another entertaining read!

Love reading about how a real couple becomes a couple. Whitney oh man. She needs to learn a hard lesson after what she put Emily and Kirk through. I am so happy they made their way back to each other. I always read all of the newsletters and have been keeping up with what is happening with winebar so this was an amazing treat.

This book has several different stories. While the plot in many of them were enough to tempt me in reading further, I often found myself groaning and rolling my eyes over the cheesiness of the characters and the fantasy-feel of many of the triple-X rated scenes. These stories makes me think that a teenager wrote them; however, I would not recommend teenagers read this book. This book offended me as a feminist and a realist. I don't like to quit books and usually would force myself to finish books I don't like, but in this case, I can't continue.

WineBar: The Complete Story by Alexis Angel is a very good read. Steamy and sexy the book also offers drama and emotional turmoil. Well written, has a fun plot and charismatic characters. Toss in a bit of quirkiness and you have a solid, enjoyable read that is very entertaining. Kirk and Emily's story is perfect for lovers of hot romances and fans of Alexis Angel. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

I'm familiar with Winebar from the newsletters. This sizzling chemistry laden storyline is not for the faint of heart! There are some ups and downs in this romance but the H/h finally get "there". The characters are realistic and relatable and well developed. Pick up a copy and add some heat to a winters' day.

I was hooked from the start, it was exciting and sexy with a few laughs and a few serious moments, I loved this, I couldn't put it down

wtf did I just read? I'm not sure if it wasn't the whole story or what.. or if it purposely read through in the wrong order or something.. but it was steamy, that was a plus, but left me SO CONFUSED! It was included in with Baby Batter and I'm feeling very meh about it. Too confusing and lackluster for me and it just kep going and going and I was so lost... e.e

This book took me a bit longer to finish. I got bored with the many sex scenes and ended up reading a few other books in between for a change of pace. I enjoyed the HEA. There were lots of typos and there were things mentioned in the book that wouldn’t make sense if you didn’t follow the author’s newsletters. (Eg. Miami)
