Until now.

The emergence of a mysterious stalker, hell-bent on taking her no matter what, has put a wrench into Veronica’s perfect life. After a foiled kidnapping attempt at her latest project, her agents are left with no choice but to hire a Delta Protector.

Jason Keyes had been content serving as part of the Delta Force until a mission goes awry and the blood of his beloved comrade stained his hands. Desperate for escape, he leaves the military and goes back home, only for his old friend Chase to offer him a job he can’t refuse: to protect Veronica Langley.

As their differences collide and each of them battle to get their way, will their passionate arguments lead to something more? Or will their bullheaded personalities clash and spell death for the both of them?

>Book Review –Collision
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the first in the Delta Protector series and ends with an HEA. Veronica is a popular actress being threatened by a stalker. Jason is ex-Delta Force assigned to protect Veronica. The story is fairly typical, except Veronica acts so carelessly with her safety that I cannot believe Jason could come to care for her. Veronica doesn’t want Jason’s help, but later she throws herself at him.
>There is so much to this story that is glossed over. The first attempted kidnapping of Veronica is set up, but never fully described. How she dealt with the aftermath and her feelings of safety seem to indicate she was just slightly inconvenienced, instead of kidnapped. How did Jason find Veronica the second time she was taken? A lot of important information was skipped.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. The romance was hot, but the plot needed help.

Collision: (Delta Protectors #1) - a review by Rosemary Kenny

I enjoyed this touching homage to The Bodyguard, which gets a mention prior to the first interaction between the protagonists, Veronica Langley and actress and her bodyguard Jason Keyes.
The initial reason for hiring Jason via the Delta Protectors force of Chase Lincoln is, predictably, letters she's been getting from a stalker.
She also goes to a nightclub and panics needing Jason to come to the rescue and take her home, where the inevitable happens and they become intimate - despite his misgivings.
The only real difference to the film/book is that the two remain lovers and even get engaged at the end of the book after Jason's rescued her from the brink of a farcical forced marriage.
The book by new writer Kayla Myles is an easy read but won't mean any sleepless nights for Jessica Fletcher or Miss Marple!

Really enjoyed this story. I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review.
I like how it starts with a tease from the end of the story. Jason Keyes is an ex Delta Force who had a bad ending to his career when his buddy died saving his life. Veronica Langley is an actress who has been receiving threats. After an attempted kidnapping, she is appointed a bodyguard. Little do Veronica and Jason realise the threat is closer than they can imagine. Chemistry starts to build between the two and comes to a head. After several harrowing incidents the chemistry gets to be too much.
Definitely should read.

I can not say I did not appreciate it but honestly I read it too fast, I missed the patos because I found the guilty too plausible, if I have to be completely sincere I understood it almost immediately, I'll read it now dozens of Arc, but maybe the first time I do not reread a book two or three times. The story is not bad or badly written, but the overwhelmed identity of the bad guy took away that something that made me own a book instead of just reading it. In the end not bad absolutely but could be really better.

Immature, Lackluster Characters

This book just missed the mark. The characters lacked depth and dimension. The flow was choppy, and the love story was ridiculously juvenile. The sex scenes made me laugh, at the author's feeble attempt to be erotic-pushing " his sword to the hilt" was not a good metaphor for erotic sex. The suspense was so predictable, but at the same time unrealistic. I am so glad I got this through kindle unlimited....I hope to find something to get me out of the land of adolescent romance-rolls eyes!

My first read by Kayla Myles and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is the first book in the Delta Protectors Series and it's off to a great start. Vanessa, superstar actress, and Jason, ex-Delta Force operative, fall for each other fast and hard while Jason is protecting her from a crazy stalker. Danger, suspense, and hot romance make this a fast read. I do wish some feelings and scenes went into more detail, but an enjoyable read. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Ugh

Could be better, didn’t like either characters especially the female. She was basically stupid when she knew there was danger and not a strong character. Also the love between them didn’t seem real, sure there was lust but there was no transition just suddenly at the end it was Love.

I enjoyed reading this story by Kayla Myles but felt there was something missing.
Overall a good read but not quite as good as other Kayla books.
I'll definitely be reading more in this series though.

This is an easy read with good characters and a good story with suspense and ultimately romance. It isn't anything deep but a very pleasant read. Enjoyable.
