This series is awesome, and Damian is a wonderful addition to it.

Damian, an Alpha wolf and still a wild child at 25, can’t seem to keep it in his pants and stay away from the ‘kitty cats’. His betas Jordan and Maverick are always by his side to try to keep him out of hot water with not only his Father, who his the pack Alpha, but the neighboring pack.

Angeliisa, Angel to her friends, has been raise to be aware of what it means to be an Alpha’s mate, has not only found her soul mate but decides to stalk him to learn his secrets. Not realizing she is not the only stalker after the sexy Alpha. When she get kidnapped she is afraid her captor will kill her and her mate. She must defend him at all costs,

Can Damian grow up and take on his own pack? Can Angel keep not only herself alive but help her mate stay out of harms way? Can the betas find their soulmates too or are they just destined to see Damian and Angel find love? But most of all will love be enough?

This is Damian and Angel's story . Damian is the Alpha Thor's son and is acting like life is his playground without thinking things through . If he sees a female that wants him and that he wants he just goes for it . He acts very immature for his age , always arguing with his father and then the way he speaks to his mother the morning after another fight between him and his father . Alpha Thor finally tells Damian that he needs to start his own pack and even gives him the place and land to do so . Needless to say Damian is not happy . Feeling like his father is kicking him and his two friends that will be his Betas out of the pack instead of accepting and thinking that his father is just trying to help him . The Hunger has been affecting him for awhile now but he does not know it . One of his Betas tells him what is happening and he is not happy yet again . He catches a scent that he knows is his soul mates but can not find her . Angel was told by her mother what to expect when the Hunger hits her alpha mate . So she decides to leave home and find him . She follows him for a while trying to figure out why he is leaving his home but soon comes to understand what is happening . Danger seems to be stalking all the shifters in the area . Shots are fired upon Damian and his friends while hunting . The story is well written and I did enjoy reading it .

Damian is Thor's son and can no longer fight his inner alpha - so his father does the only thing he can do to avoid the inevitable physical battle between them for the pack - he gives him his own land and tells him to go and start his own new Pack. So with his two best friends who are also his Betas Maverick and Jordan they set out to claim their new home on Shasta mountain until they realise wolves are being hunted - and even worse at that moment Damian is struck by the famous Hunger and needs to eat constantly. Can they keep out of danger from whomever is hunting wolves and can Damian find his soulmate before she is caught in the same danger as them?

Lovely story of how Damien and Angel meet and are mated. Lots of drama and danger in this story that looked at father son relationships as much as it did about wolves and their own internal pack relationships. It was great to see the way Damian changed and became the adult and Alpha he was destined to be. Well told and easy to read and become involved in the story.

A Growling Good Time

Once again the Wolf's Hunger has taken us down another road of excitement. Fights, bullets flying, Alphas arguing. What more could a reader ask for. I will admit you will need some Kleenex and maybe a change of pants from laughing too hard.

I just love these emotion filled books and I love to watch the characters grow with each page. I know you will enjoy this ride with me. Lots of shifters and human in the mix, some come and grab a copy.

Wow, kudos to my fellow author and friend Desiree A Cox. Starting at page one, it was on. Not only did page one give a complete insight to Damian, it took me right into the scene. It was typical Desiree A Cox times 10. Damien is a pure dog, (no pun intended) selfish, conceited and totally arrogant. Even his parents find it difficult to deal with him. The fact that Damian is planning a coup to overthrow his father as Alpha of the pack shows he’s disrespect and supercilious attitude. When his parents decide to use tough love is when he finds out, life isn’t as easy as he believes it to be.
I also love the sub-characters, his betas Maverick and Jordan. Both are loyal to Damien but also see his faults and tries to steer him in the right direction. I really love Maverick, for more than one reason. I hope to see a spin off of the beta’s. I found the book funny, touching and exciting. It really kicks into gear when the HUNGER takes over.
The fact that his mate is alpha in her own way makes the two a perfect fit. Angel brings out the gentler side of Damien causing him to grow up and see things from a different perspective, which makes him the Alpha everyone can love and respect. Don’t miss out on this wonderful tale. See how Damien’s transformation takes place. Enjoy the HUNGER, for yourself, I promise you won’t regret it. This is Desiree A Cox's 2nd paranormal novel, and by George I think she's got it. I can't wait to see what her next paranormal book will be.

Unbelievable

I was disappointed that Angel was such a bland character. She basically had no personality and there was nothing that made her stand out, in her own book. She didn't have to experience any character development and she, honestly was really dim. Why would she immediately assume that Damian is a drifter if she's watched him live at his home pack? She watched them live in their home pack, then start out kin what could simply be a hike, only to save a young cat shifter. And finally go to a group of cabins that they could very well simply be camping at; but Angel immediately jumps to the conclusion that they're homeless...

And that wasn't all that I found to be unbelievable with this story. Damian and his friends aren't out on their own for 36 hours before they're all brought back to Thor's pack grounds, and yet Damian has, supposedly, grown so much in his time as an independent alpha that his father comments on it. What makes him so respectable now to Xavier and Thor, and if he is an official alpha, why was he nor included in the planning for any of his own pack's buildings?

Amazing!!

Another great book in the Wolf's Hunger series!

Once again, Desiree Cox did not disappoint me in her second book in this series.

Her main characters were strong and the story line was amazing. I was able to follow it from beginning to the end.
This book is full of romance, suspense, and excitement!!!

Damien is a headstrong alpha, his has been reckless with his decisions that had put his father's , Thor, pack. Now Thor has to make a decision that may hurt his relationship with his son.

Damien is feeling his hunger pains and knows that his mate, Angel, is in danger and she is close by.

Will Damien be in time to save his mate? Has his recklessness endanger her more? Will he change his ways?
This book has romance, suspense and excitement. I would definitely recommend this book to all my friends. Grab it!!!

Another 5-star read by Desiree A. Cox in the Wolf's Hunger series!
There is no shortage of action, adventure, intrigue & sexy mates as this foolish Alpha-t0-be struggles to grow into his legacy. Just as his alpha father forces some "tough love" onto him, he is struck with The Hunger, but can not seem to find his mate! What he does find are mysteries & danger.
This is very well-written and will keep the reader thoroughly captivated from start to finish. A great addition to this author's previous Wolf's Hunger contribution!

This is the first book I've read by Desiree and I'm absolutely hooked. I can't wait for the next one. Damian is an Alphas son and he is trying to take his dad's place. He has no regards to anyone but his self. He doesn't want to follow the rules and he is always butting heads with his dad. His whole outlook changes when he meets his soulmate and he starts to become the Alpha he was meant to be.

A really Great read!

I was totally drawn in to this book from page one. It’s very well written, with great characters and a lot of action. The love story of Damian and Angel is hot and strong from their first meeting. I love how strong all the women were in this story and the great side characters that could lead into other books!

Learning to be Alpha
