If you have seen the new Disney shorts with Mickey Mouse and company, then you will enjoy this story. It looks like it came right off the screen. I think they did a great job with those shorts. So the art looks computer generated.
It’s Halloween night and Mickey is trying to tell a scary story. After several failed attempts, he finally gets a scary story for the kids. It’s a cute set-up.
The nephew didn’t think the story was scary. Of course not. (speaking of, I don’t know what goes through their minds, but lately when we go to the movies both kids will fixate on the horror movie that is in the theatre and that’s the movie they say they want to see. They get scared watching the Nightmare before Christmas. It’s a strange new development.) The nephew loves Donald’s nephews so he was charmed by this story and seeing their craziness. He gave this 4 stars.
It's Halloween night and Mickey strives to come up with the scariest story ever to tell his nephews in order to frighten them. He just can't seem to come up with a good enough story and they're misbehaving because of it. Will Mickey be able to finally conjure up a story on this Halloween night?
This was a pretty good story for Halloween time. The story keeps you interested, the illustrations are good, and we loved the ending.
Our only complaint was that the audio plays a little too fast when the characters are talking. It makes it difficult for younger readers to follow along.
Read this with my daughter as soon as the review copy Disney sent us arrived--so cute and fun! A sweet way to enjoy Halloween with your littles and our beloved Mickey Mouse!
Such a fun story! Featuring all your favorite Disney characters, Halloween themed and some 'scary' twists for the little ones. My child had lots of fun and loved the characters outfits. I like that the drawings are more classic Disney.
