I Warned You
When Matt Ryan was born, he slapped the doctor.
Years later, his tiny home state of New Hampshire, known mostly as a vacation state for campers and skiers, is overwhelmed by the opioid epidemic. Lives are being lost, budgets are busted, petty crime is rising, and first responders are stretched thin. Ryan gets drawn into the mêlée when his small business becomes the hiding spot of $300K in cash, stolen from one drug distributor by another.
With easy money up for grabs, cold-blooded opportunists begin prowling the sleepy postcard town of Fall River, competing for the seemingly easy score.

They weren’t counting on running into a brick wall like Ryan, or his canine companion, Sharky the maniac.
*This is a vigilante crime/action story with a touch of dry humor, not an addiction story or a police procedural. There is absolutely no romance. I mean none whatsoever. Unless you consider the bond between a man and his dog romantic. There's plenty of that.

AWESOME READ
I just found this author today and already I've polished off Book One, bought Book Two, stopped for a bathroom break and am ready to polish off the second. All I can say about this author and his fabulous characters is, when is the next book going to be out?

Awesome read.
A different kind of vigilante book -- Matt Ryan and Snarky don't hunt for criminals; the criminals come to them. To me, Ryan isn't a vigilante as much as a guy who's just defending his hometown, its people, and his turf. I really liked how he handled each scenario. Plenty of action without the gore. I thoroughly enjoyed his rally car driving thru the woods. Who hasn't wanted to do that?! I'll definitely read it again and book two. (P.S. Don't cheat and flip to the end, but thank goodness for Chapter 30.)

I am warning you!
I liked this book! It wasn't what I had expected when I got it. But it had a dog and I love dogs more than some people! I wasn't sure whether to laugh or not, but did end up laughing at the situations! Lovely characters written with kindness and love. I enjoyed reading about less than "perfect" people, not everyone is a size 3! I am waiting for the next book., ANxiously!

A very fun and fast paced ride
A lot of times I start a book and just can't get interested enough to finish it. This NOT one of those times! I know the fact that it had a dog got me started but what kept me going were the characters, especially Ryan and Sharky!
If recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and quirky but unnerving ride. After all the author hits home in a few of society's real problems. Well done!

An entertaining read
I chose to give this book 5 stars not only on the interesting read but also the quirkiness of the plot. You can imagine all the inhabitants of a small American town living just like this. It was ok not really as interesting as i had hoped. I would not really recommend it . Needed more suspense. But i really enjoy reading so i gave it a hot. I will try another book from this author.

Interesting characters especially Matt Ryann
Different sort of cult hero in this book. Overall you become a fan of Ryan but I've always been put off by people with attitudes and he's got one the size of an elephant. His favorite line is "make me" and I've lived on this round ball long enough to know that in real life someone will and it won't be pretty.

Amusing
Almost didn't read it, sounded like just another robbery story but really glad I did! There is more than one silly or amusing incident which held my attention. I have been an avid reader all my life but in my old age I read fewer and fewer stories of horror and evil, this one gets the point across and still injects humor!

Interesting. Puzzling
In the beginning I was hooked by the attitude of Ryan. I could not decide if was a cynic or else. After reading further I realized that is a man as any of us is. A times sure of himself, other times full of doubt, a guy just trying to live an be left alone. Great read. Conrad Samayoa.

Based on the summary of the book I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it. I did immensely!! The main character is so straight forward and can be seen as obnoxious but I found him extremely likeable. The dog, Sharky, made him even more so. This is a book I can see myself reading again many times. Plenty of scenes had me laughing.

Action packed, leaving you waiting for more.
I just finished this Facinating book with a grin on my face. The storyline was totally unexpected & fun! Not that it didn't have it's serious side, but, now l want more. Very interesting style this author has. I may be 2 years after it was first published but this is a read l want more of.

I Warned You
Absolutely loved this book! I laughed so much. This guy is my kind of hero. Smart, funny and quick. His attitude about life sure gives you food for thought. Can't wait for another story.

The main characters in a****** but he's right
Overalls very good book I like it had page-turner the main character was engaging and I kind of got like a spunky attitude from him a type of guy that doesn't take no s*** and overall very good book liked it a lot

Wonderful Story!!!
The main character Matt Ryan is totally awesome but I adore the dog! Hope this author writes many more stories with the dog named Sharkey in them, such a cool dog!!! I recommend this book to everyone, it is really really good. xo

A good novel
First time reading anything g from this author. I found the story line was great.I would recommend this book and author was very descriptive and kept to a great story line.

If you're expecting this to be a book similar to the average mystery/thrillers that you often read - think again! The protagonist is completely surprising and unlike any others. I rate this one 4.7 stars and look forward to reading more in the series.

This was recommended to me by my son and I thought I would give it a try. Found it a quick and easy read, not what I expected but enjoyable. I will continue on to the next story in this series.

Loved it!
I laughed, cried, held my breath and enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Not sure if my favorite character is Ryan or Sharkey. If you read for enjoyment, as I do, you need to give this one a try!

A book you can’t put down!
I loved this book for its fast action and strong character development! The action is unexpected and sudden while the main character is going about his normal day. However, he acts with strength and force to contain the danger!

You'll love Sharkie
Really good reading. I enjoyed Matt Ryan's antics a lot but I especially loved Sharkie. The storyline was great and to be honest, I started out thinking Matt Ryan was going to be a lazy s.o.b. in this story.

Great thriller
This book was really cool the way the author wrote it more in conversations than narratives. The main character seemed more of a bully than anything. Still can't wait to read the next book and see what happens to Matt.

Quick fun read,wonderful lead character,lot's of action and a good plot, just your everyday guy minding his own business and gets involved in drugs and stolen money that everyone wants back.
