Looking Down Both Barrels

Rate this book
Holy&Intoxicated Publications latest release is an explosive chapbook of poetry by the UK poets Adrian Manning and John D Robinson: ‘Looking Down Both Barrels’. These poems perforate the page like a scatter-gun blast of truth and dirty realism and humour.

"John D. Robinson and Adrian Manning have joined together to put out a stripped down, forceful collection of poetry. Reading their collaboration reminded me of an old typewriter I had that used to practically punch holes in the paper. Each poem is truth drilled into the page. Highly recommended!"

Another outstanding chapbook of poetry from Holy&Intoxicated Publications, featuring the work of two poets whom I would have no problem mentioning in the same breath as the likes of Charles Bukowski. Honest, raw poetry, dredged up from the gut and laid bare on the page. This is Grade A material, and a young upstart poet such as myself can only dream of being able to tame the written word as well as these two gentlemen. Special mention should go to Janne Karlsson for the terrific cover artwork.
