Aiden Lee’s temper and problems with authority have just caught up with him in a bad way. Assigned to a new pack, he’s told that if he can’t get control of himself there, then they’ll ensure he doesn’t cause any more trouble. Ever. Unfortunately, his old habits die hard, and when the honey-eyed blonde at the desk catches his eye, he knows he’ll have to do whatever it takes to claim her. She’s smart, sassy, and undeniably his mate. There’s just one problem…
Willow Pike has worked at her adopted father’s shipping company for a decade and a half, ever since she got back from college. Things there are stale, but they’re stable as well, and she’s okay with that. But when the new guy walks in, suddenly everything changes. Tall and handsome with a killer smile, she’s immediately hooked. He’s not like any of the other werewolves she knows. Unfortunately for both of them, the Alpha doesn’t want anyone new for his pack…or his daughter.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Aiden’s former Alpha has tasked him with finding out just what his new pack is up to. To do this he’ll need to show Willow’s father that he can run on the wrong side of the law, even as he’s trying to prove to Willow that he’s a good man. The line between right and wrong is blurry, and it’s easy to get lost. But with Willow by his side, Aiden just might be able to solve the mystery, escape with the girl, and prove to himself, his former Alpha, and his mate that he can be more than any of them dreamed.
This is a complete standalone story with no cliffhanger and a happy ending for everyone but the bad guys.
Amelia Jade loves to write the stories of tall, growly shifter men and the women who come to love them. Living out in the back-country near the mountains, she keeps her own alpha male close by, to keep the bears away and keep her warm. In her down time (which is rare), she loves to read science-fiction with a dash of fantasy. You can often find her curled up in front of the real wood-burning fireplace, her nose firmly buried in a book or her favorite ereader. The cold can't bother her there!

This was a great story. I just love this authors writing. I love the approach the author took with this story.
I really like Aiden. She was a sexy wolf shifter that had a rebellious streak about him. He was a loose cannon. It was like it was a battle for him to follow the rules. He was a bad boy that is for sure.
Willow was in a unique situation. Here she was adopted and raised by a Alpha wolf shifter. She was smart and helped out as much as she could in the pack. Thing is there were things going on underneath Willow’s nose and she did not even know it.
I love the chemistry that was between Aiden and Willow. Aiden was sent to spy on the Stephen pack. This was his last chance. I can not imagine the burden that of felt like. To top it off he was fallen for Willow.
I love how protected Aiden was of Willow. He will do what ever it takes to keep her safe. I love how this story shows that a good perfect mate can even calm the savage beast. Willow is what Aiden needs.
This is a interesting story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
This is story is definitely different from the author's previous works. There is no sense of unity with Aiden and the other wolves he associates with in Mack's pack. He is like a lone wolf with an attitude. He moves around because he solves everything with fighting and the alpha is tired of it. He looks at most wolves as a challenge but not "the challenge" it like he wants other to know that he can beat them but does not want the responsibility that comes along with assuming the particular rank.
For me this is not a straight forward romance but a shifter coming into his own with a side of love.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed this story without obligation to do so.
There’s always some craziness and shenanigans happening in Peculiar. But now the craziness is threatening to spill into the outside world. The sheriff’s daughter, fresh out the academy, not only has something to prove to her overprotective parents, but also to the hunkalicious were she has been partnered with. When trying to solve a mystery in a town calles Peculiar, nothing is ever as it seems. Nicole has the dilemma of trying to prove herself worthy of her badge and degree, while also trying to keep from being distracted by her gorgeous partner and overbearing father.
As much as I love the series, I've really been enjoying the standalone stories by this author. This one was really good. I really liked Willow from the beginning. Aidan did take some time for me to warm up to, he wasn't the kind of character I instantly like from the start, but he did grow on me fairly quickly, and I liked him by the end. They were really good mates for each other, and it was fun following their story. Overall, I enjoyed the book. I was gifted a copy.
Just loved it! Cassie and Aiden make a great pair. They are passionate, intelligent, clever and caring. Their adventure together was engaging and exciting. The story was well constructed and expertly edited. I really hope she is planning on expanding this PNR standalone into a series like Genesis Valley and Dragons of Cadia. I am so there! I received an complimentary copy with no obligation to review.
I loved this story, everything about it. It was action packed and very entertaining. I loved this the concept of this story, which was quiet intriguing. The storyline moved at a good pace and the characters were very likable. Aiden and Willow were well suited and I loved their connection and chemistry. This was a very enjoyable read and I was thoroughly entertained by the storyline. And I loved the bonus story as well. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Aiden goes undercover to find out what a group of shifters are up to. He meets Willow a human adopted by an alpha that works for the company Aiden has been sent undercover at. Will they be able to survive the fallout of the discovery of the illegal activities going on? The book is a fun quick read. I highly recommend this book.
When a young hothead werewolf gets in trouble with the Alpha all bets are off. Wonderful creation of love and laughs. This author just jumps into her characters and makes them come alive.
Wow, how do you describe this book? Exciting, entertaining, passionate, confusing and dramatic! It is totally awesome. It shows how right can overcome wrong and love delivers everything you ever want or need!
This book covers it all. When trouble maker, Aiden, is transferred to another pack to see what's going on. He finds his mate. And solves the issues. Non stop action more than you can handle!
I love the clever wit and banter that is truly Amelia Jades signature! I can see a whole new series from each of the four clans of the city! Write On!!!
Awesome story with hot 🔥characters!! Amelia is an amazing writer and storyteller 😁!! This story was incredible, outstanding, exciting and hot!! Great story!!
I really enjoyed this story and most of the characters. The world is more gritty than I am used to from this author, but the humour and witticism was wonderful, especially at the end when they were trying to escape. The plot was interesting, with a few different tacks being taken. Cannot say too much without giving it away but definitely some intriguing bad things going on. We also get the build-up between Willow and Aiden happening. I liked Aiden, he was honourable but he is also a hot-tempered wolf shifter who is on his last chance. He is sent to spy on another pack by the Regional alpha. He meets Willow immediately on arriving and is drawn to her. Willow was a bit hard to like at first as her complicity in what was going on and her uncaring attitude to someone being killed grated on me. She was definitely an ostrich ignoring what was gong on around her. I did end up liking Willow at the end and the banter between these two was fun but Willow seemed too naive for a 35 year old. She is ignoring her instincts about what is going on. As Aiden states, she needs to remove the blinders. I was just a little bit disturbed at the disregard for life in this world and the casual way these people discuss killing someone like it is no big deal. My only real gripe was the stupidity of Willow confronting Stephen, it was just absurd. This is my honest review of this book.
Title: Furred Lines Release Date: #AlreadyReleased Author: Amelia Jade Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Serial: Standalone, No Cliffhanger Genre: #PRN #WolfShifter My Rating: #4Stars☆☆☆☆ •••••••••••••• Wow this was a really good book. Definitely your page turner, the characters you feel like you're therewith them. Of course my imagination go crazy too but I just love Paranormal Romance. Willow Pike is thirty-five-year-old human who has lived with wolf shifters her whole life, since the Alpha adopted her when her whole family was killed by a rogue. Willow has worked for her father for a long time she makes deliveries or picks them up, she basically their secretary. When a new guy comes Willow keeps looking at him and thinking about him. She's very interested in him but her father keeps saying to stay away from her. Aiden Lee is a Wolf Shifter with a bad temper. He's been given many chances from his Alpha that he throws him out of the pack and sends him to another pack to lay down roots and spy. Once he gets to the different pack Aiden finds his fated mate. Now which pack is he going to show loyalty to? The old pack that threw him out or the new pack that might be criminals? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
Aiden and Willow's story is definitely not lacking action! It took a few chapters for me to be able to sink into the story. Im glad I pushed through though cause WOW!
