Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
This book was awesome, full of mystery and intrigue. Manny finally gets his mate, Nick, and a lot of action had taken place with a lot of frying pans (Nick's weapon of choice), and lots of witty banter. I really hope that the author some day continues this series since I'm pretty much addicted to the whole Brach universe. This romance was a struggle for both main characters, however, they were finally able to work through their issues together making this a very enjoyable read.
The mystery of the brothers is...KINDA cleared up. I didn't get why the focus went from Mordichai to Manny. Mordichai was the one with their father when he died. And what's the reasoning of Matthias to show up at Manny's?
Great read, with some really funny parts. This is one of those never ending series, but most of the installments are fresh and exciting. The current story line about the Kent brothers and espionage has been fun to read. As with all the alpha shifters, their mates make for great comic relief. Nick fits the bill perfectly. His not so great family past has left him angry, but Manny breaks through that angst. The partial resolution to the spy story line was good, but I hope it continues until fully resolved.
Me sorprende cómo todavía tiene cosas por contar, me ha agrado cómo hizo a los personajes y cómo funcionan en pareja, además que la trama sigue interesante.
