I have been a fan of K. Webster’s for over a year now because she made me fall in love with the dark reads. Although I’m still upset over the fact that she and a co-author ruined my psychotic doll maker, I guess I can’t seem to stay away from her books for too long. She may be the Queen of dark & disturbing romances, but she is also quite gifted in writing what some would consider “taboo” erotica that I proudly label as my guilty pleasure reads. I knew from the title of this book, LAWN BOYS, that this was going to involve an older woman with a younger man who probably has barely reached adulthood yet, and while I wouldn’t normally fantasize about a hot eighteen-year-old boy, for just a little while I am able to let go of my inhibitions and just enjoy this decadently naughty romance.
Stephanie Greenwood is a thirty-eight-year-old single mom and newly labeled grandmother. For the past seventeen years it’s been just her and her daughter. Her late husband was killed in a car accident when their daughter was only three. She made Lacy and her career her main focus in life and the thought of being with another man never crossed her mind, until her hotter than hell and entirely too young neighbor pays her a visit offering his landscaping and pool boy services in return for an internship at her advertising agency. Just being in the vicinity of Anthony Blakely, who is also only eighteen, has her pulse racing and her lady bits all tingly.
Stephanie is unnerved by the desires Anthony has awakened in her. She knows that her attraction to him is scandalous due to their twenty year age difference. She’s more than twice his age and definitely old enough to be his mother. But with these two being in close proximity day in and day out, and with Anthony walking around half naked with his delicious sweaty body on display, let’s just say Stephanie’s reluctance will be overpowered by the insane lust the two have for each other. I enjoyed every naughty escapade between them and get ready there’s more—Anthony has an equally HOT identical twin, Aiden! I wondered why the story was called LAWN BOY(S) and soon my question was answered. All I can say is Stephanie is one hell of a lucky lady!
When the three start to have a little fun, Anthony starts to show his fierce jealousy even though it was at his urging that his brother joins in on their sexy times. While Stephanie is a willing participant at first she makes it clear that Anthony is who she really wants.
While Stephanie and Anthony enjoy each other in their safe bubble eventually friends and family will learn about their secret relationship. Will this turn out to be nothing more than a sexual tryst or is it possible that two people with twenty years age difference between them can actually fall deeply in love and end up in a beautiful committed relationship?

So my friends, we are talking about the love story between an 18 year old young man and a 38 year old woman.
And possibly his twin brother.
And K. Webster is the author.
Of course it is a hot story!
Which I absolutely enjoyed.
I really liked the female character in this book. When I read the book blurb, I thought that this would be another Mrs. Robinson’s story where the older and wiser and sophisticated woman seduced the young innocent new lawn boy. Well, let me tell you something: There is nothing innocent about Anthony Blakely! He is a man on a mission. And his mission is to conquer and eat alive the woman of his wet dreams, dearest Stephanie. Stephanie is the sweetest woman, so lonely for so many years (over 10) since she lost her husband. And she will fall head over heels in love Anthony.
Stephanie is beautiful, fit, funny, hardworking, tender and lovable. She is also a mother of an adult daughter and a grandmother.
Anthony is good-looking, an athlete, an Alpha male, determined, pushy, focused. He also loves more than his life, his twin brother Aiden. He can endure anything for Aiden. Or at least he thought that he could bear anything until he had to share Stephanie.
If you like the older woman – younger man trope (but with a twist); then you will certainly enjoy this short story!
And possibly his twin brother.
And K. Webster is the author.

Straight off I am going to say that the whole older woman/younger man thing is not my jam. In fact, I would rather choose a book full of cheating than one with the above scenario. So I bet you are wondering why the hell I signed up for an ARC of this one, right? Well, it's K, and I ADORE K. And if anyone is going to get me to board the cougar train it would surely be her. Did I enjoy it? YES. Did I love it? NO. But honestly, I didn't expect to and the not loving it is all down to my dislike of the trope and certainly not the book itself.
So onto the deets...This was a relatively quick read. It was well written and well paced. The plot was engaging and pretty well rounded for a book on the shorter side of things. The sex scenes were SMOKIN'. There wasn't any angst or OW drama. A bit of OM drama. All three main characters were very likable. The heroine was 20 years older than the heroes (18) and one of them (Aiden) was a virgin. As much as I liked all three characters, the dynamic between them felt off. I wasn't a huge fan of how Aiden was added to the mix and would have preferred the sex scenes (and the plot in general) had just been between the heroine and Anthony. The whole menage angle came across a bit too forced and there was jealousy involved which is a BIG no-no for me in that type of situation. Lastly, it was all wrapped up in a super sweet four years later epilogue.
So yeah, although this is never going to be a trope I warm up to I did end up enjoying it for the most part. And I am glad I stepped out of my box and gave it a go. With that said, this is getting a solid thumbs up from yours truly.

In Preach/Easton in the end, we get a little taste of what will be the story of Stephanie, Lacy's mother, and Anthony.
This one is a reverse age gap.
Stephanie is an 38 years old woman and Anthony an 18 years old guy.
He always thought she's the most beautiful woman in town, and he won't give up conquering her.
Aiden, his twin, had been a bad time, and he's doweling with his own sexuality, so Anthony tries to help, even if it hurts him... But there's nothing he won't do for his brother.
It's an ok story, I was hoping for more...
A quick reading, sexy and sweet one.
Fighting against prejudice of an older woman with a younger man, what's important is their happiness.
Stephanie had lost her husband very young, he was the love of her life, and now her daughter is married, and she's a grandmother, she needs her life back and stop mourning her departed husband.

I enjoyed this smutty, OTT, and sexy quick read and I gotta say miss Webster always brings this unconventional love stories that makes them so good. I mean here I am venturing into reads I usually don’t go much into but that’s on me I’m such a jealous and possessive reader with my characters.
I’m really happy the way she played this one out cause those sex scenes were so hot!
This is a perfect read for in between reads not much angst or drama pure smut at its best. Loved the epilogue!♥️

LAWN BOYS: Is a standalone, Contemporary Romance novel by Author K. Webster. In this we meet thirty eight year old Stephanie and twin eighteen year old brothers Anthony and Aiden Blakely.
Stephanie is one of the hottest woman around town, she's fit, gorgeous, a grandma, and a widow of fifteen years after her husband died in a car accident. She's approached by Anthony during the summer before college to be her handyman around her home.
The taboo aspect of this novel is the age difference between the two which is by no means a cringe worthy cougar read, it's hotter than hot. Anthony has wanted Stephanie for years once he'd seen her working out at the gym, he's always had a little thing about her, but once he starts working around her yard he turns all alpha and shows her how good they could be together. The sex scenes are panty wetting hot, the interaction between these two is apha cuteness overload which had me lapping up the pages.
Normally this isn't a genre I tend to jump on, pretty much steer clear of them as they aren't generally my cup of tea, but being that my favourite author wrote this there was no way in hell I wasn't going to read it. As soon as it was boomeranged on my kindle that was me set for the night, once picked up I didn't put it down.
A short super cute, super hot, read. This author knows no bounds when it comes to either delivering us dark, gritty, cringe worthy reads, to her taboo genres making a name for themselves whatever genre she dips her toes in she's one to keep an eye on!!

I found these two not as hot as I would have liked, his twin brother’s involvement interesting, and though the author promised an hea I found the hero’s dreams of a hea with the heroine weirdly more believable if they had parted ways and came back together in the future. Nevertheless, this is a quick entertaining story.

O sea, no pensé que un romance entre una mujer mayor y un chico (casi adolescente) -ok, tiene 18 gente- me gustara.
Pero lo hizo.
A ver, que no es una historia cambia vidas, de esas memorables e increíbles. No. Es un libro erótico-romantico. Y lo que se espera en este tipo de libros, si son de los buenos... es una historia con algo más y no solo sexo sin sentido.
Aquí me gustó exactamente eso. No fue la típica historia tipo porno, (a veces si, pa que lo niego) ella era diferente y él no era el niño inocente que creí.
Yo pensaba que me iba a encontrar a otra Mrs.Robinson y nada más lejos de la realidad.
A veces ella era demasiado dulce y tiernita. No sé de que otra forma explicarlo jajaja
Y la verdad, si me sigue chocando un poco eso de que el chico (DE 18 AÑOS) tenga tantas tendencias de dominación y la otra como si nada. No sé, me imaginé que también debería tomar ella la iniciativa. Pero bueeee...
Exceptuando algunas que otras escenas (sobre todo con las del gemelo) todo el libro es entretenido y justo lo que me gusta leer entre libros más profundos y sentimentales.

This was a hoot and a half. I had so much fun reading it. You can always count on K. Webster's books to not only entertain, but make you hot under the collar! This one is great erotic fun!
Here's the breakdown: Anthony is a senior in high school who has a major crush on an older woman in town. Steph is in her late 30s and a grandmother, but age is nothing but a number. When Anthony shows up on her doorstep with an offer to perform work around her home, she can't help her response to him. She's undeniably attracted to him. It doesn't take long for these two to begin acting on their feelings for one another.
Here's what I enjoyed:
The story is sweet, sexy, and unconventional. It's out of the box. Oh, did I mention S-T-E-A-M-Y?!
It's tied up nicely in a bow at the end and the perfect length for a great filler books.
There are so many older man/younger woman stories in the marketplace. And I love them. I'm not knocking them at all, but I enjoyed the script flip here. Admittedly, I don't think an 18 year old would be as dominant or experienced as Anthony. Honestly, that was a bit of a struggle for me. Just my humble opinion, but I just can't fathom someone that young being as take charge, self-assured, and domineering as this character appeared to be.
If you're looking for a quick steamy read between books, this may be the one. Plus the epilogue has everything I love in short smutty little nuggets. Bonus!! It's available in Kindle Unlimited if you're a subscriber.

Son poco los libros que he leído con este tipo de primicias. Donde la mujer es mayor al protagonista.
Aunque al igual a las otras historias que he leído de este tipo, a pesar de la edad y madures de la protagonista, igual el hombre a pesar de ser tan joven ejerce un control total en la mujer.
Es hot, si por supuesto, no lo niego.
Pero plis necesitamos más libros eróticos con mujeres que dominen a sus parejas sexuales, no en forma de humillación, pero de forma erótica, estoy segura que no soy la única que quiere historias así.

Lawn Boys is the newest Taboo Treat from K Webster. The taboo aspect is of the older woman-younger man variety but Anthony is at age of consent at 18. This book served its purpose as a short, sexy treat.
There is not much to this story but that's completely OK. Anthony and Stephanie are both attracted to each other and while Anthony has no reservations, Stephanie is hesitant because of their age difference. She is also a bit insecure because she is a grandmother and she can't figure out why Anthony would want her.
There is a ton of sexy times in this book. The blurb alludes to Stephanie being involved with Anthony and his twin but there really is only a taste of this. Nevertheless, this book was HOT.
Some of the characters in the previous Taboo Treat books make an appearance but this is read as a standalone.

this story is a taboo lover's (wet) dream. Sorry, I had to do it lol. It was short and all kinds of hot! I mean where was the Anthony Blake's of the world when I was 18? Oh, wait, never mind he wouldn't be interested in past me, but current me HELLO!
I love K's taboo side, hell I love her every side, again a fantastic read for me.

Talk about a quickie that hits you in all the right spots.
Lawn Boys is a quick read it had all the elements that I love when reading a shorter book.
This story really shows that age is only a number and when the chemistry is there. Well it's there and to hell with those who judge.
Stephanie is a successful woman who is independent, beautiful and deserves to have a second chance at love. Enter Anthony who is so much younger then her but yet brings out something that she has been missing since her husband passed away.
Together these two find something with each other that ignites some seriously hot passion and a chemistry that they can't deny.
There are some seriously hot sex scenes in this book that had me saying OH MY !!!!!! But there were also moments where despite their age difference I found myself cheering them on. Of course this book also had some characters that judged them and I literally wanted to beat them for being such dbags.
This is a hot sinful read that will have you thinking that love comes in all forms.

Não senti conexão com os personagens, a forma que tudo aconteceu foi tão rápida que não consegui me conectar.
Muitas cenas quentes, mas bem típico da autora.

Lawn Boys is the latest taboo treat from K. Webster. It can be read standalone with no problem but I recommend also reading the other books from this little taboo world. We meet these two main characters in Preach/Easton. I won't go into detail or confirm the names of the main characters or any specifics from the book since it hasn't been released yet, but I highly recommend Lawn Boys.
This book was written well with great flow and cadence and was an easy read. The main taboo in this book is the age gap of the woman being older than the man. He's an adult too so if you are worried about that kind of thing, there is nothing to worry about.
Lawn Boys gave me lots of feels. It made me super giddy happy. There were also several laugh out loud funny lines. The relationship between the two main characters was really awesome. It made me a bit envious. I completely melted over the cute nickname that the hero gave our heroine and the explanation behind it. I loved that there wasn't a lot of angst internal to their relationship. I also really liked that we got brief check-ins with characters from the previous stories. I think the only downside I found is that it ended when I just really want there to be like a never-ending story of all of these inter-related characters.

I loved reading this short novella. I love reading stories where the FMC is older than the MMC which was included in this novella and I savoured every second of it. Anthony and Stephanie’s story was flamingly hot and a great read to take up time.

I almost loved everything in this book. Well, except a few things like I thought it will be a menage book even it just happened briefly. I really loved how young man is full on alpha and shameless. He's so into PDA (sometimes) and really, really filthy. Totally swoon-worthy and fuckable in desperate times. It has more depth than others taboo treat. Really one of the best!

I’m sooo moving to this town...
I just love these taboo treats.
They’re the perfect combination of plot, pace & likeable leading characters.
Add in the right amount of feels and electric chemistry that has you swooning & thigh clenching in equal measure, and you have a smutty novella read that is just delicious.
Loved Anthony & Steph & everything about their story.
Now, I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s a little more than eager to get Aiden’s story... coz there’s more that bread cooking in that bakery that’s for sure.

This was a short quick hot sexy read that I liked. Stephanie Greenwood is a successful woman who is independent and beautiful. Anthony Blakely is much younger then her at 18 but he brings something out in her that she has been missing since the death of her husband. This book had some hot kinky sex scenes in it. I liked both of these characters each finds something in the other that they are looking for not everyone is happy that they are together but in the end it all works out. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

This is a light, sexy read and is also one of the best written books of this genre that I have read. It is 'sweet' as in there wasn't too much angst or drama but it did still have some emotional scenes and I really did fall for both Stephanie and Anthony. 'Teacup' - that just has to be my new favourite word!
It starts of with an almost rom-com vibe and I will be honest that I thought this would be a very throw-away read. By that I mean one full of steamy sex, cardboard characters and not much story. I should have known better because K Webster is one heck of an author. She took those sex scenes and added depth, emotion and meaning to them. Her characters felt real, their thoughts and feelings made them easy to believe in and to connect with.
There are a couple of 'spanner in the cogs' moments, which allowed us to really get both a feel for Anthony and Stephanie and also for the dynamics of their relationship. How the pair dealt with these issues was realistic and for me it added to the strength their relationship and made it more believable. One thing I really liked was that whilst both of them had worries and concerns about their relationship these weren't 'overworked' in the story. We didn't have to keep 'hearing' Stephanie worry about being older than Anthony again and again, which can be annoying in other books. It was raised, it was dealt with and eventually it was put to one side.
This is a fairly quick read and yet it felt like there was plenty of story without being rushed. I'm not the greatest fan of books this length as they can be rushed, characters can be flat or the story can feel incomplete. Lawn Boys didn't have any of these issues, it was well written, I felt like I knew Anthony and Stephanie, how they felt and what their hopes for the future were.
This is a really nice, feel good read with a strong story line and wonderful characters. All I have left to say is bring on Aiden's story!

Taboo Treat?
Um yeah and one I absolutely DEVOURED!
I started it at the beginning of my lunch hour and I went just a tinsy bit over by doing the whole “Oh it’s just two more chapters” because there was no way I was going to even attempt to pretend to put it down when I knew I was going to pick it right back up.
It was a little dirty, a little smutty, hella smexy and had just enough heart thrown in there to make it absolutely addicting.
Without spoiling anything, which does include using the names of the characters (unfortunately), I have to say I really enjoyed this May/December story because unless the age gap was brought up by the MC’s I tended to forget that there was one because the chemistry between them was hot and once things really started revving up, there was a flow to their budding relationship that just worked for me and had me wanting them to be together in the end and flip the double bird to all the haters.
It was easy to get sucked into this story. The writing was engaging and the characters were well written, there is one secondary character that I’m hoping will get a Taboo Treat down the road, so toes crossed. And as the description states, there is a bit of an OM situation, and I honestly had no issue with it. I enjoyed how it all played out and really liked what came out of it because it helped to push the MC’s relationship forward. So, if you’re looking for quick and dirty taboo read that has just the right amount of angst and heart, then this is a must read!
