Great starting point

The author makes some great points. As with anything worthwhile you have to put the effort in to make it through. We cannot expect someone else is going to be there to guide us through. We must rely on God and listen to Him and what he says to us. Yes must prepare for what is coming yet without His guidance we will be lost.
Another note this book is not designed to cover everything, in fact an enemy will make an attack on many levels, EMP, Nuclear weapons, conventional weapons. This will include the hyperbaric thermal weapon. So the EMP weapon would take out the eyes and ears of a nation.

Decent

I'm glad I read this in KU. If I had bought it I would be disappointed. It has some useful information but it is extremely limited and is bullet points instead of explanation oriented. For a lot of the information people are looking for, I would recommend reading post apocalypse books instead.

This book is a level 1 primer on how to survive a deadly emp attack. Read One Second After if you want to learn what can happen to society. We need to pay close attention to the recommendations presented.
