When Uther pursues Balinor to Ealdor, he finds Hunith instead, and takes her prisoner, not knowing she is pregnant. He entrusts her imprisonment to his ally King Olaf, but when he falls in love instead, Uther is not pleased. But destiny is a fickle thing... Royal!Merlin, FemMerlin! Eventual Merlynn/Arthur, but will be slow burn. Rated T for language.

13 booksHello! I'm Anne. I think it goes without saying that I love writing; I've been writing since I was thirteen.
The main purpose of my fics is to improve my writing style, so I don't always finish fanfics. A lot of times, I'll get bored with a fandom, or rethink the idea I had, so I'll abandon it (sorry for that! I do try not to do that too often!). Some fandoms are also just hard to write for, like Doctor Who. Getting the Doctor's personality just right is always a challenge, and the wibbley wobbley, timey wimey-ness of most of his adventures are a pain to get straight as a viewer, never mind a writer.
And now for something completely different: I always wonder how old the authors of my favourite fanfics are, but I think it goes without saying that most people don't announce it to the world. I was born in 1994, so that makes me 22. I'm also from Belgium, so English is not my native language, but I don't write in Dutch. I did live in the US for a year, so I do have some experience.
I also recently created a Twitter account, which I will use primarily (but not solely) as a way to provide update info and a place where I can talk to my readers. (@AnneLilianJ)
