Here for the first time is the true account of the story of Snow White. Not the classic children’s fairytale we all know, but a darker and more sinister tale of rivalry, death and unrequited love.
The word Ravishing in this case is definitely a verb.
This is a fairly viscous take on Snow White. I’m sure there is a name for this kind of comic but I don’t know it. The story is not very generous to women. As a women, I can’t recommend it.
Title: Snow White: And Her Ravishing Love Story Author: Edward Blade, Andryi Kyianytsia Format: Kindle (Free)
[ Enjoyed ] Not really. [ Last Read ] Last week. [ Reread ] No thanks.
[ Cover Lust ] No. [ Intriguing Title ] A little. [ Interesting Premise/Plot ] No, but it perked my curiosity on what kind of twist was done. [ Preview Impressions ] ...this is aimed at dudes, isn't it.
[ Kept My Attention ] Barely. [ Got Bored / Mind Wandering ] Yes. [ Skimmed/Skipped Scenes/Chapters ] Yes. [ Reread Past Scenes For Fun ] No. [ Reread Past Scenes Cause My Memory Sucks To Clear Confusion ] Yes. (Skimmed too fast.)
[ Stayed Up Late ] No. [ Took a Long Break Midway ] No. [ Ending Left Me Feeling ] ...WTF did I just read?
[ Easy Light Reading ] I guess. [ Turn Brain Off ] Yes. [ Guilty Pleasure ] Eh, probably. *shrugs* But gonna assume it's not a guilty pleasure to most males.
Other thoughts I'm throwing in: I only read Snow White: And Her Ravishing Love Story because it was short, free, and got curious what kind of twist the author decided to spin. It certainly didn't turn out the way I was expecting, but didn't satisfy my curiosity. The pacing was very abrupt, probably due to the short amount of pages. Didn't like the art style, but since I'm not the target audience, that's a given.
I enjoyed this short comic, the bizarre twist got my attention, not sure about the "happy ending". The art is super bright and beautiful. I’d love to read more.^^
