Miu is an unfortunate occult fanatic, who guzzled down a whole bottle of "Cherry Soup", the super strong cell revitalization liquid without thinking. Thanks to that, now she's a zombie. This all happened when Miu's just gotten close to her crush, Tohno. However, Tohno can't stomach zombies! Who knows what will happen...?!
Now before anyone gets to excited by this free book on Amazon kindle (also available on Kindle Unlimited) I have to say this is not a full compiled manga containing multiple chapters. This is literally the very first chapter and although the basics of what you are to expect have been laid out to the readers you really can't expect much from the very beginning. Why only release the book in chapters you might ask but I think it is because the company that released this series is not one of the major manga distributers so by releasing in smaller (and cheaper) chapter bites they can get their product out there and maybe even make a name for themselves.
As for the story itself the art work is pretty expressive but the premise seems to be a bit misleading seeing as the Cherry Soup that supposedly turns her into a zombie is just a rejuvenation formula and it was her own recklessness that ends up killing her after she desperately dank much of the formula in desperation and so even though the soup has revitalizing powers it cannot restart of dead heartbeat but can keep a person fresh and active even after death. Uhmmm...Okay.
Basically not a bad or particularly good first chapter and it seems there are 16 more chapters so we'll have to see how many i feel like reading in the future. :)
I completely forgot that I got this for free from the store. I did not have high hopes because of the cover and title but man this was terrible. I am not a big fan of romance in general but if it is done well, I can bear it. The whole thing feels like it is written by a 12 year old girl who fell in love with a movie or TV show character. The romance is terrible and the supernatural side of things are not very bright either. Zombie Cherry is basically about a girl named Miu who turns into a zombie and also has a crush on a handsome boy. Not my cup of tea but I've seen people who really liked it. The only thing that was moderately interesting is the art style. The first volume is still free so go check it out if you are curious.
A girl likes a bit but he turns all girls down. Then they discover they both like horror stories but not zombies. So the girl becomes a zombie. Can she keep him from finding out?
Silly and a bit strange. Between the he is so dreamy and I am so weird, it is hard to get into the characters. Could be funny but doubt that I will read more in the series.
This was a cute short read. Interested in reading the rest of the series to see where they go with this. Nothing complex. Fun story with cute animation.
I'm normally not into horror manga and etc,but this is rather cute and funny, nothing too odd. It was a very fun read and it made me want to see what happens next in all honesty.
Not thinking clearly, Miu guzzled a whole bottle of “Cherry Soup” which is a cell revitalization liquid. She is now a zombie. This happened just when she had gotten close to her crush Tohno. Unfortunately, he really doesn’t like zombies. What is Miu to do?
The edition I read is only the first chapter and not the full first Volume which contains 5 chapters. It is quite short but is full of fun. The story is interesting and the artwork is expressive, getting the point across well. I enjoyed it and will continue on with the next chapter.
A short, fun story about a girl whose boyfriend makes a cherry soup with such extraordinary restorative powers that it keeps her alive after her heart stops -- meaning she is now a zombie.
Given how short it is, I'm thinking this is aimed at the tween market. Young girls who are just beginning to be interested in the idea of having a boyfriend, but not really ready for all the messy romance stuff.
Super into zombies lately, so when I found this graphic novel on the kindle store, I knew I had to give it a try. And to be fair, I really liked it, but it just felt fairly undeveloped (which makes sense, due to the fact that it's the first one). So, basically, I will be reading on because I loved the premise.
Omg how adorable! Basically it’s girl is occult fan and is in love with cute guy who happens to be occult fan too. Crazy chemistry makes her a zombie but cute guy hates zombies.
The art is very simple but enjoyable and the story makes me want to buy the whole series! So adorable. Relatable cause I binge horror all the time.

Girl likes this cherry soup medicine but then it wearers of so she gets more but instead drinks the whole bottle and turns into a fresh zombie and doesn't want her date to know
I recommend this for girls ten or older if your I to manga like me spooky but not to spooky
Reads in reverse , Japanese style. Black and white horror. A girl has a friend who gives her a medical experiment while she is starting a romance with a new guy. Hilarity ensues.
As much as I enjoy an occasional simple story, this is a bit too simple. I'll still read the second part, but I might abandon the series. I am simply not the right audience for this book. Were I younger, I would've been sucked right in.
for a free book it is okay but it could have been better. it just feels generic and the characters are basic aswell. typical school girl crushing on the most popular boy in the school with her smart childhood friend. it all just feels very cliché.

I wanted more from this. I feel like it ended very abruptly and we never fully got to understand what this cherry soup actually is. Maybe we’ll find out in future volumes, but this was just a little too meh for me to fully immerse myself and enjoy it.
I don't have many words to describe this. But some could be. Chaotic, cheesy and a tad funny. Definitely not how Zombies are usually introduced, but at least Mui got to go on her date.
This was the beginning of a manga that sounded good and I am happy to continue with it, I enjoyed what I have read so far and find the main character weird but let's see how I feel with the rest of the series
El libro, a pesar de parecer otra novela escolar promedio, tiene un premisa fresca e interesante. Sin embargo, temo que pueda caer en la repetición para mantenerse con vida.
A PRETTY COOL COMIC. I KIND OF FELT SORRY FOR THE GIRL BUT SHE WAS HAVING A GOOD TIME WITH HER NEW BOYFRIEND. THEY BOTH HAD THE SAME INTERESTS. THERE WAS PLENTY OF HUMOR AND THE STORY ITSELF WAS UNIQUE. I WISH I COULD TRY SOME OF THAT CHERRY JUICE.
