I enjoyed this textbook, I mean I actually enjoyed this textbook. I didn't skim it... I read it.

I took interpersonal communication online this semester because I wanted an easy communication/speech requirement. This textbook was one of the required readings and throughout it there was relevant information, it appealed to a younger audience, and it gave information thuroughly without feeling like you have to have a masters in communication to understand it. I for sure would recommend this for a classroom reading.

As far as textbooks go I found reflect and relate to be very informative, relevant, and interesting. Communication Theory might not be on top of everyone's reading list but if you have to read it for school then this is a good book to learn from.

A college-level textbook should not have to spend a paragraph describing what anger is. All of the information is watered down the point where it is just common sense. There are some good bits of information but they are few and far between.

I read this book for an interpersonal communications book. What I like most about it is that it offers practical advice for our relationships at every level. It gives exercises and insights that we may not have otherwise had. Good stuff.

This was a textbook for summer class. It was actually interesting, current and informative.
