I’m here!! Finally at the end of this bloody painful road and kinda sad to have to let go of this mind blowing webcomic.
So . . . Here’s the review I promised.
Killing Stalking is a progressive, psychologically mind-twisting, fast-paced thriller. There are themes of rape, incest, Stockholm syndrome, abuse, nudity, murder, torture and crudeness galore.
What I found the most 'enchanting’ was the way the story unfolded and how with each new clue you were given, it got you to re-evaluate your cards and wonder who really was the most messed up character here. The stalker? The murderer? Or the countless other characters who dipped a hand and splattered paint on the canvas?
What you see is not necessarily the truth. Even the ending left me frustratingly unsatisfied. Trust me, I’ve searched and there’s no epilogue to the epilogue, dammit.
I should say something more but.... huh, this is a thriller you’d have to taste for yourself to understand.

Well. That was a wild ride. The only reason I’m taking a star off is because I’m forever petty that we apparently never get to see the bad guys win. What a shame.
Third re-read March 2020: Did I finish Killing Stalking or did Killing Stalking finish me? My chest is literally aching. I will never, for the rest of my life, get over Oh Sangwoo. Rip @ myself because I died with him.

Lo terminé a las 3 de la mañana y no pude dormir ni en toda la noche, quede muy asustada, e intrigada con ese final, solamente podía pensar en Bum y Sangwoo, y que verdadero final tuvieron ambos.
Estaba en duda si ponerle 3 estrellitas, pero viendo cómo me chocaron todos los capítulos finales y como quede con ese final, se merece las cuatro.
Esta es la temporada final, con el capítulo 67 y me dejó bastante en shock. Creo que ellos se merecían ese final. Excepto Bum, el no lo merecía, nunca lo odié, no es inocente, pero sentí mucha empatía con él, todos siempre lo trataron para la mierda y merecía un poco de amor, que nunca lo tuvo.
Y hasta me dio miedo, hay algo que se descubre al final que me dejó muy nerviosa, además, las ilustraciones fueron asombrosas, me dejaron congelada.
Y terminaron los dos como una vez se prometieron, aunque me dió mucha lástima y casi lloro.
Aunque es un final algo abierto, tengo muchas dudas aún, y preguntas.
En fin, esta temporada tuvo pocos capítulos y sentí algo apresurado el final pero me gustó,por qué fue muy realista, la autora supo plantear muy bien a Sangwoo y Bum como personajes realistas. Además las ilustraciones fueron fantásticas. Y recomiendo todo el Manhwa a personas mayores de 18 años, por qué es muy fuerte como he dicho en las demás reseñas.

January 19, 2022This series as a whole is a trigger warning. I was simply ✨traumatized✨ from the very first few chapters and yet I still continued and finished this. Disturbing yet couldn’t stop reading. And the ending, I don’t know what I was expecting but that was not it.

Desconozco si las intenciones de Koogi eran acabar rápidamente con la obra y apresurar todo, siendo la ausencia de ideas el motivo de esto, porque de una u otra manera yo así lo percibo.
Desde que Sangwoo tiene un retroceso por su desconfianza hacia Bum, todo vuelve a como estaba al principio de la historia.
Es aquí cuando la misma termina por ir a través de un camino mal construido. Tanto el descubrimiento presuroso por parte del oficial Park, hasta el detective Seungbae salvando el día.
No sabría decir si es cuestión de expectativas, o tal vez estoy siendo demasiado dura con su final. Ya lo he mencionado y bueno, ahora lo vuelvo a decir Killing Stalking es bastante entretenida siendo el tipo de historia que disfrutas más sino piensas mucho en ello. Lastimosamente ser entretenida no lo vuelve en automático una historia decente, de hecho, está lejos de serlo. Creo que la premisa fue buena, pero la ejecución no tanto y la tensión de la primera temporada se fue perdiendo más y más siendo sustituida por ese "romance" enfermizo.
Cuán diferente sería el asunto si no hubieran convetido la historia en porno de asesinos.

How is it that this author can make me feel so bad for someone I hated so much in the beginning of this manhwa?
Sangwoo has had a really fucked up life! His mom was something else, man. No wonder he turned out the way he did.
For some time there, it was really looking like Bum was having more power in their "relationship". Sangwoo's just been in a really bad shape, emotionally, and it seemed like he was starting to break down. But it looks like he could be getting back to how he was before.
I'm interested in seeing a new dynamic in their relationship but also I feel bad seeing Sangwoo so hurt. (If Volume 1 me could read this right now, she'd probably think I was crazy )

Killing Stalking started with a punch but sadly the pace didn't hold till the end.
First of all, this last season only contains a single, culminating scene that finished the story with an open ending. Even though i didn't feel it was rushed, the final events on season 3 made it seem like it, mostly due to Bum's actions when he left the house and talks with his ex-schoolmate. I didn't quite understand his sudden change in the way he approached Sungwoo or if it was something planned beforehand. However, the tragic nature of the ending for both characters is satisfactory.
Lastly, the author managed to create compelling characters with a deep trauma thus mental illness, explaining their actions through flashbacks and giving the reader little bits of visual elements that stand out in the enviroment, typical of every psychological horror story. The biggest flaw i saw is that many scenes, specially in season 3 were many sex escenes (con and non-con alike) that didn't serve any purpose for the develop of the story, in my perspective those were only for titillating purposes and i'm not much of a fan of those unless they have another reason to be there. Also i feel the lack of police procedures in the latest chapters hindered the impact of the death of one of the cops. In my opinion that character needed more screen time.
Overall, i think the story isn't perfect but good enough to give it a try if you like psychological horror, dark stories, and can stomach very graphic gore and any type of violence or difficult themes.

Finally finished this, the thing that reminded me of the ending was in a certain chapter in season 3 (I think?), where sangwoo told yoon bum that they should die together. And they really did, in a tragic way too. THIS WRECKED ME.

Woah😅 Mir gefällt, dass die Geschichte immer komplexer wird. Man merkt, dass Bum auch ein Riesenpsycho ist und er lässt es hier zum ersten mal auch raus. Ich mag auch die Rückblicke. Durch die versteht man die Charaktere besser und die Geschichte kriegt dadurch eine Tiefe. Einige Szenen waren wieder sehr verstörend. Definitiv nichts für schwache Nerven!

Quien piense que la autora romantiza todo lo que sucede necesita volver a leerlo. No es una historia de amor y la autora en ningún momento dice que lo sea.

Ok, aprovecharé la oportunidad que ya esto termino para dar mi opinión general de todo el cuento y como no? expresar mis incomodidades y molestias con respecto a algunos aspectos de esta novela gráfica.
Sobre el final, nada muy sorprendente. Honestamente esperaba algo mas épico, creo que la primicia del libro lo merecía, no? Si sentí esta última parte un poco más pesada que el resto, se me hizo la lectura mas lenta y con ganas de que terminara pronto.
La historia en general: dejando a un lado el lado perverso y aterrador de esta historia (aunque a veces me asusta mas que gente fangirlee de verdad con cosas así), es importante para mi dejar claro lo molesto que fue para mi la representación de personajes en esta historia. Cayendo en todo el tema de los prototipos y todo el asunto.
Para mi NO ES SANO (mas allá de todo lo insano) que represente a Bum con la figura de una mujer. Quizas muchos ni lo consideren, pero eso puede afectar psicológicamente a muchas personas que lean esta novela gráfica.
No esta bien que el dibujo de Bum tenga el cuerpo igual o incluso mejor que el de una mujer, no esta bien que las caderas y el trasero de Bum sean iguales o mejor que el de una mujer. Saben cuantos complejos puede generar eso? Esto va mas allá de la típica "figura débil y delgada" del pasivo y el cuerpo "definido y firme" del activo. Me ofende la normalidad con la que reflejan esto y peor aún, las personas que se ven extasiadas por esto. Lo se, quizás 1 de 10 hombres en el mundo pueden tener el cuerpo parecido al de una mujer, pero esto fue absurdo. Por eso el mundo esta como esta(?) Pensaba que estas cosas sólo se limitaban a la pornografía pero no, resulta que en una simple novela gráfica lo intensifican incluso más.
Al menos me distraje de lo aburridas que estan mis otras lecturas actuales. So, no me arrepiento pero tampoco lo recomiendo.

It completely broke me. It's been hours since I've finished it and I'm still shaken by the emotions and turmoil it stirred in me. A very fitting and poetic conclusion to the twisted (love?) story of two mentally ill poor souls.

Wow... Creo que es lo único que puedo aportar de mí impresión con el final de esta historia de terror/Gore... Estuve creo que todo el año leyéndola porque quería tomarme mí tiempo para analizarla dada su popularidad por un tiempo. Leerlo con una playlist del mismo no ayudo en la sensación de vacío que tengo al terminar esta historia.
¿Cómo empezar? En comienzo la historia no me generó más que curiosidad, era novedoso a mí parecer; me generó algo de curiosidad como había personas que podían romantizar esta historia (Alert: espero que no romantizaras esa relación please).
De cierta forma tenemos dos personajes con claros trastornos, que han pasado horribles cosas pero reaccionaron como si fueran dos caras de la misma negativa moneda. Me encuentro llorando mientras redacto esto porque el final era lo que se merecía, el final me dejó completamente satisfecha... Fue perfecto para desarrollar lo que sucedió.
Querer analizar el desarrollo de los personajes creo que fue lo mejor que pude hacer. Ver sus altos, bajos y bucles costantes. En especial, las repeticiones de situaciones de recuerdos y finalmente el hecho de que juntos... Vuelven a estar como empezaron en los últimos episodios, recalcandonos que esto no es una historia de amor, no se tiene que romantizar, hay secuestros, trastornos, abuso físico y psicológico, asesinato. No es una historia con y vivieron felices para siempre (Claramente, si no, no sería de este género jaja).
Por sobre todo el final me dejó pensando... Pensando que sucedía en la cabeza de ellos o de Bum, que no. Si realmente a su enfermiza manera generaron un extraño cariño...
El adiós a esta historia que nos deja analizando varias cosas y por sobre todo a la que le agarre bastante aprecio por su trama tan enredada jaja.
Atención: No romanticen estás relaciones, en serio. No es para nada sano ^.^

okay so yes i just binged this...i had a great 2 years without sangwoo and yoonbum but my tarot cards was telling me that i had unfinished business that i needed to resolve sooo i took the hint, i hope ur happy now spirit.....

im gonna get into spoiler territory now...
im very confused about how these match up with the chapters in the webtoon, but i have in my mind made up that this counts as chapters 51-67, so yeah spoilers for the last chapters of killing stalking
this is such a great psychological thriller, sangwoo's development from becoming the abused to the abuser is just amazing storytelling, don't get me wrong its heartbreaking but it makes it that more intriguing and you start to feel bad for him... i was crying
when sangwoo accidentally calls yoonbum mom, i was screaming and about to throw tf up. and the fact that her corpse was in the walls the entire time is VILE!!! no shit he didn't wanna have sex in the bedroom when his mothers dead body was right next to them.... im traumatized.
aaandd the only reason sangwoo was attracted to yoonbum in the first place was cuz he looked like his mom... jesus christ man...
i don't get why GoodReads is saying that there is more to this series, like what are we gonna continue on with, fkn yoonbum x ashes? likeeeeee come on now...

Ya entiendo el apodo de Sangwoo y sorprendida esto.
Ahora no es mi temporada tan fav, me gusto pero me costo engancharme al comienzo ya que nos presentan a Bum y a Sangwoo como una pareja “estable” Y NO, esos dos no están para nada estables.
Y en esta temporada vemos el porque Sangwoo es así, el por que está tan perturbado y loco, aunque si me costo mucho engancharme a su trama en un comienzo ya hasta cierto punto se puso interesante todo.
Me gusto mucho este manhwua, pero no creo que se una lectura para todo el mundo.

Bueno pues finalizado el primer arco, digo adiós a esta obra. No me gustan los personajes, la trama no me tiene sentido, ambos están muy mal de la cabeza y necesitan ayuda, pero la obra no me convence.

Holy hell was that a ride... So dark, but so captivating! I don't understand people shipping this couple though... this is so toxic, but maybe it's the same people that ship the joker and harley quinn...I just wished Bum would have had a happy ending, instead of the sad one that he got.

I read this a while ago and just found my season one box when I was packing up for a move. The story is not my cup of the, the drawing is okay but not for me either. This is just not for me, but the fandom ruined the whole thing for me anyway.
