Only read Made Maleen a lovely second chance romance based on a fairy tale.
This is a collection of of romance stories in various themes setting and styles but I was only given the one shown below to review

Childhood sweethearts Maleen and Braydon are caught by her father in the hayloft just after they have made love for the first time. He chases Bray off with the pitchfork and send Maleen to a college far away. Maleen returns fourteen years later on the death of her father and they meet again. Both are damaged by their failed marriages and and Bray's ex and mother of his child is the woman Maleen has hated since childhood. A sweet sexy romance to curl up and enjoy.

This review is for the story of Made Maleen by Jeanne St. James.

This is a unique re-telling of a fairy tale with the same title. This is a modern version and a refreshing version. I liked that there was just a hint of the original story, and if you know it you can pick out the similarities; otherwise it is a new story.

This is the story of Maleen, a woman who found her love at a young age but was forced to leave and move on. She is torn apart from her love, Braydon, moves to NYC and becomes a rich, tough, and bold woman. She moves back to town after the death of her father and meets Braydon again. Braydon as moved on, at least he thinks he has, until Maleen comes back. Their love and passion never died and they have to find a way to be what they were meant to be. They have issues to deal with and many previous troubles to get past.

This was a different kind of second chance story and it was fun to read about their journey. I had a bit of trouble relating to Maleen at the beginning of the story, but I soon found out why, and then was rooting for her second chance. There are a few subtle references to the original fairy tale (necklace) and that made this story so much more. I enjoyed this story and found it a entertaining. This is a large box set that I won in an Amazon giveaway. I am leaving review now for a few of the stories.
They all have a really HOT side and some are suspenseful as well.
Some need a bit more... but overall these stories were pretty fantastic.

Seduction: A Paranormal Vampire Romance by Anna Santos
Violet is one kick butt and take names later female who is out to get revenge on her maker Ewan. But something changed and now she falters.
Can Ewan win her heart? Or will her superior Galvin win her?
Once a vampire always a vampire? Violet is stuck and doesn't know what she wants. This was a wonderful story.

Flying High by Liz Gavin
Kay is a bit on the heavier side and never found herself as sexy that is until Sean.
Sean is a one time thing however as he is against company and here she is thinking of not just one but 2 men hmm or more? This one is a Reverse Harem Sexy short read..

Noah Brotherhood of Souls by K.C. Falls
This is one HOT! sexy story here.
Noah is a barney bad butt EMT but there are many reasons for this and it takes one sassy sexy Joy also an EMT to figure him out. It's pretty deep this story.

Saving Penny : Imperial Knights 1 by Ariel Marie
Drake owns one of the top security teams in the world and now Penny needs help. There is just one problem. That gold coin he dreamed about is standing in front of him and is much more than she realizes to Drake.
This is a hot and sexy short read...

This is a interacial office romance... Very hot !!

Kitten Around - A Shifting Hearts Dating Agency Series Book Three by Erzabet Bishop
Paige enjoys rough play so she enjoys Ventures which is a club that caters to that sort of thing.
She works for Shifting Hearts Dating Agency and is sick of hearing from her ex and just needed a break.
Her inner kitty wants some roughness but in a oh sooo good way.
Tyler's looking forward to the auction at Ventures. His cat wants to dominate and it only wants one female subbie that it has had it's eyes on.
Nothing is ever easy however and a storm is on the horizon that just might be more than this cat can handle or is it?
I really enjoyed this story, we get sexy, suspense and just an overall awesome read.

Seduction-Anna Santos
This one got really tiresome after awhile. Violet is supposed to have been around for over 100 years, but keeps acting like a somewhat spoiled 20 something instead of a warrior. There was also quite a bit of repetition and whining.
Flying High-Liz Galvin
This one did have some interesting twists. Not a sub-genre I normally read.
Brotherhood of Souls-K.C.Falls
Friends to lovers story done really well. I found myself invested in them and wanting them to get their HEA. Also a good look at how hard our firefighters and EMTs work.
Saving Penny-Ariel Marie
I enjoyed the premise of this story, with the hero dreaming of her as a penny when he was younger, and eventually as a woman. I liked her character and how she dealt with everything. A nice bit of suspense.
Cut and Dry-Eva Winters
I thought this would be a run of the mill billionaire falls for abused woman and has to convince her to be with him, but it was more. The characters were well developed and there was suspense.
His-Sedona Venez
This was hot and fast paced, although there is certain person that I wish had gotten his walking papers.
Blood Wine Kisses-Denyse Bridger
Another one that got a little tiresome-the hero was a bit too angsty and I wasn’t sure I liked the heroine.
Made Maleen-Jeanne St. James
I am not familiar with the fairytale this one is based on. It’s a good second chance story.
Claim the Leopard Princess-Mex Xuemie X
A good sci-fi paramormal although at times disjointed.
Costumes and Dungeons-Abby Hayes
An okay, short but improbable story.
Star Search-J.S. Morbius-Not a genre I like, so did not read
Secret of Site G-Elvira Bathory
Evil scientists, mermaids and shifters-good story and seems to be the start of a series, maybe.
Xavier-J.S. Morbius and J.D.Morgan-Not a genre I like, so did not read
Inheriting Love-Jaymes and Sutton
This had some twists and turns that surprised me.
Kitten Around-Bishop
Cute title. Good interaction and buildup, and good use of secondary characters.
Working out the Kinks-Howell
Interesting premise.
Ethereal Protector-Dawson
Good ghost/witch story. Lots of girl power.
Hunger-Dayne
This one had a lot of redundancy in the 3 parts. It felt very disjointed also. I didn’t feel invested in any of the characters. There were several errors in grammar and word usage, like centuries instead of sentries.
Remote in the Shadows-Rahn-Johnson
A good shifter romance. Addison and her daughter are running from her abusive ex. Parker rescues them. I liked how the bad guy wound up.
Forgotten Dreams-Willsin Rowe
Cute amnesia second chance romance.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. I read and reviewed Saving Penny by Ariel Marie, Book One of the Imperial Knights series. What a fun read! This quick read has a little bit of everything... action, humor, drama, suspense, sexy shifters, romance, hot sex... the list goes on. Ariel Marie gives us a damsel in distress that is anything but weak, a sexy wolf shifter that has just met his match, an elite security company (run by shifters), a psycho stalker and a host of support characters that are clamoring to have their stories told. Although a series opener, there is resolution to this storyline and it could be read stand alone. This is definitely a mature audience only read. This is not a right before bed read... the heart pounding action and suspense will keep you awake until the very last period!

What a delightful tale "Made Maleen". I really enjoyed this modern take on an old German fairy tale that was included in the Brothers Grimm Collection. It was a quick read and a wonderful story. Mal and Bray were forced apart by her father. Although he meant well it lead to heartbreak for both of them. Fourteen years later they meet again. What a wonderful love story with a few sad parts. I have never read the original fairy tale but plan to. This modern take was such a wonderful read with a HEA! I have already purchased the "Sin & Seduction" collection and cannot wait to read the rest of the stories.

This is actually a review for the story Made Maleen which I was given an ARC for but I have purchased the entire set to read.

Made Maleen is based on the Grimm brother's fairy tale of the same name Maleen found her true love at an early age but was separated from him by her father. She goes on to be a successful hard as nails career woman but when her father dies and she returns to her small town she runs into Braydon yet again. Both of them have failed marriages behind them and Braydon's ex is someone Maleen has always hated Will they be able to get over their past and will they eventually get a HEA.

Saving Penny bu Ariel Marie: Wolf shifter Drake has been haunted by dreams for the last thirty years of his long life. When they started, he only saw a penny as in the coin, but as they progressed he began to see pieces of a woman yet never a face. One afternoon a beautiful woman enters his exclusive security firm looking for help with her stalker. Surprise, surprise...her name is Penny. I loved this story. It was a fun read that kept me guessing right until the end. And a sexy shifter never hurt my feeling either. This is a great story. This is a great collection of Paranormal & Contemporary romances. This collection offers a wide array of reads that include hetero & same sex romances. If you enjoy your reads with plenty of heat and spice this is the perfect choice for you. I particularly enjoyed: Made Maleen: A Modern Twist on a Fairy Tale by Jeanne St. James. It is an entertaining and unique second chance story. Characters are engaging and have great chemistry. I'm posting an honest review after reading an advance copy of this book.

Made Maleen......This was a really good second chance romance I believe it is based on a fairy tale but it was not one I had ever read.I really enjoyed this story it was really well written and it pulled me right in.Maleen and Braydon were childhood sweethearts but she was sent away to college by her dad after he caught the two of them in the hayloft now it is over a decade later and she is back home after the death of her dad.When they meet up they both realise they still love each other but will they be able to make it work this time.This was a super little read and I really enjoyed it

For the last 30 years, Drake has dreamt of saving a penny. He has no clue the hidden meaning behind it until the Penny comes to his help for protection. Penny has a stalker and it started soon after she won the lottery. With the stalker getting closer, will Drake and Penny figure out who it is? Loved seeing how Drake tries to protect Penny while also discovering she's his mate and learning if she'll accept him for what he really is.

I read Made Maleen by Jeanne St. James in this collection and it is a great read. This is definitely a quick story that packs a lot of punch. There are lots of feels, yummy scenes and a perfect HEA. I only wish it was longer. I feel like their could have been a little more developed as far as how the situation with Mal, Bray, Nate and Kait was resolved. This is definitely worth the read. Great Set

I liked the variety of stories. Many of them are paranormal romances. There are quite a few that feature BDSM.

There is a good mixture of longer stories and short reads. All of them are well written and offer a good reading experience. They are complete stories and don't leave you with a cliffhanger.
