They say eyes are the windows to the soul. I thought that was bullshit until I saw hers. Huge doe eyes that should have sparkled with happiness and laughter were dead and lifeless. That was the moment that changed everything. Two random meetings, nine emails, four days and a broken Angel that changed my entire world.
Angel.
Such a silly name for a beautiful boy. Daisy is the saviour I crave and the safety I haven’t felt in years. My world is spinning out of control but he’s the salvation that can keep me alive — if I’ll let him. Two random meetings, nine emails, four days and a broken boy that brought me back to life.
Gemma Weir is a half crazed stay at home mom to three kids, one man child and a hell hound. She has lived in the midlands, in the UK her whole life and has wanted to write a book since she was a child. Gemma has a ridiculously dirty mind and loves her book boyfriends to be big, tattooed alpha males. She's a reader first and foremost and she loves her romance to come with a happy ending and lots of sexy sex.
Why did we need that scene with H and two other women AFTER he met h?! I hate books where there is a scene with ow after the main characters meet each other BUT I couldn’t rate it low as I loved how he was with heroine after meeting h again and how devoted to her he was. Just need to get that threesome out of my head though!

Gemma Weir is quickly becoming an auto buy author for me. I love the men she writes!! The possessive, jealous, all-for-their-women, men. I’m not going to say much in this review because I would like to forget as much as possible so I can enjoy it again!!
Angelique is an innocent damsel in distress but she has the strength inside of her to survive, so she’s not a totally annoying helpless heroine.
Daisy is a prospect for the Doomsday Sinners MC. He’s loyal to his MC family, and the work that they do. Daisy hasn’t had an easy life but that doesn’t hinder him in his love for his Angel.
But there is a desperate villain that wants total control of Angel, with no concern for Angel’s life.
My only complaint is that this was ‘their own little bubble’ romance, so not too much happens. Angel’s life is in danger and because of that she has to be careful about being in public. Even though the story isn’t filled with new places and lively scenery, it does have a motorcycle club with members that look out for each other. I feel like this book sets the table for the next, plot wise, so I’m excited to immediately jump in to it!
4 Stars!

Daisy's story was not my favorite primarily because I did not care for the FMC Angel. Angel has had it rough since her sister disappeared. Her father is abusive and corrupt and she wants nothing more than to escape her father's clutches. When Angel meets Daisy at a wedding sparks fly even though their meeting is brief.
Daisy and Angel part and Daisy goes to f*ck some women that service the MC (gross) and Angel goes back home to her prison. She soon finds out she is to be sold to a cruel man to settle a debt and so she runs. Not sure where to go until she can get out of town she goes to see Daisy. Daisy vows to make her his and protect her and his MC backs him. Will Daisy help Angel heal from the trauma she's experienced at the hands of her father? Is she trading one prison for another? Will Angel be able to get away from her father and the world he wants to thrust her into? Can Daisy and Angel have a HEA?
Daisy was fine although he seemed a little immature at times and I couldn't help but feel like he was missing some of Gemma's signature alpha male attitude. Angel was meek and I could tell the goal was to make her strong but it didn't quite work for me. The plot felt too heavy for me. Overall, a decent story...just not one that I loved all that much.
Daisy’s story, ok starts off with a wedding and later a threesome but then takes a twist with senators daughter! Yes sheltered and abused by her father. The father is very demented and is just not protected- the surprise ending not so much a surprise but I think that was the point- definitely has me hooked for the next!
we start this book with him seeing her and having a brief connection with her, after that he has a full ON page (5 pages) treesome... gross 🤮 he already knew he likes her, she already catched his eyes ..so yeah, him having this scene right after it grossed me out and ruined pretty much all the book for me. He is a manho. But yeah after that he didn't do anything bad (stopped reading at 39%) . I didn't like this plot, the build up, i felt like i will never connect with them properly . Also let's not talk about his name DAISY come on... i couldn't take him serious . I felt sorry for her upbringing etc tho.
18 year old abused heroine meets 21 one year old hero by chance. She’s the daughter of a senator, he is a MC member. Two meeting, nine emails change their life.
First half of the story is hero tomcatting despite meeting the heroine, her getting tortured and rescued, him immediately claiming her, lots of sex and drama, bloodshed and a happy ending.
The characters were way too young and felt very immature to me personally. The heroine needed lots of growing up to do.
"You're a tunnel of light in a lifetime of darkness"
After I stopped fanning myself over this cover, I got stuck into my second book by this author and it's also this authors second book. Book one I loved it, it was insta hot but book two tipped me over on the star scales, I adored and loved the characters, the plot and everything in-between and once I started I didn't stop reading until I reached the end.
"Maybe were each others reward? Fates gift for making it this far" "Your the best fucking present I've ever got baby"
I'm a huge fan of MC and after reading so many they come in all different shapes, sizes, forms, they can all be so different, what is normally the same is a possessive alpha biker who lays claim on his woman, kind of like a cave man banging his chest "Me man, she my woman" and although some woman don't like that, I love it, it's fiction and I love the whole protective alpha scenario and Daisy despite his flowery name is all man and definitely no flower but he also made this story beautiful..
For Daisy this is an insta love story from the moment he sets eyes on the timid Angelique who is later named Angel he can't get her out of his head and even though he is intrigued and has lust in his eyes, this biker of the Doomsday Sinners is on the ride of his life to love, he just has to get Angel who has no life experiences on the same journey.
Angelique lives under the house arrest of her father who is the Mayor of Archers Creek. Most people don't even know the mayor has a daughter she is home schooled and alienated from the outside world. Angelique is a mouse of a girl who takes beatings from her father and dreams of one day being free. Her night of freedom comes from an overheard conversation she hears of her father and another man planning on the sale of her virginity to pay a debt.
Angelique runs from her home and falls into none other than the arms of Daisy who hasn't been able to forget his Angel since the first time he laid eyes on her all be it brief.
For Angel this is a story of self discovery, courage, freedom, a journey of firsts, finding real love and family. For Daisy this is a story of finding a new purpose as protector and discovering love and his life being complete.
A great story and really well told By Gemma Weir it flowed brilliantly, hotness in the right places, brilliant and lovable first and secondary characters and an addictive story, like I said I couldn't put it down. And the ending, I had a feeling and damn if I wasn't right I was like, fist pumping YES!!!
Another brilliant addition to the series, my favourite so far and I know without a doubt I will be saying that again with another book that's how it goes.

Review: I liked this one a bunch. Daisy's the man!! It was less spicy than I usually like and I don't really like slow burns cause I'm impatient but overall this was a good one. I think Daisy may be the king of dirty talk. OOOOOO that boy was hitting all my buttons. He's just straight up sexy. Angel/Dove is a sweet character and you really do feel for her and what she goes through. You will indeed want to end her parents for sure. Her father is evil and I'm not exaggerating. I love the way the club takes Angel in and want to help her. You get to know the MC prez and his old lady a little more and I love them. I wish they had a book!!! Overall, this is a good one. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes MC romance with OTT heroes as well as a damsel in distress.

I loved this one. Poor Angel she's been thought so much is her shot life. All I have to say is holy shit the ending. I didn't see it coming and it blow my fuvking mind. Now I'm just dying to know what happens in the next book. But it's 1 o'clock in the morning and I have 30 other books to read before I read the next book. But god damnet I need to know what in the hell happens next.
The one thing I took away from Daisy was Gemma's writing style, from the first book to the second, you can feel in the words how she's developing and growing as an author, so well done Gem, I loved Echo, but Daisy pipped him to the post.
This is the 2nd book in the Archer's Creek series, and another member of the Doomsday Sinners MC get's their moment in the spotlight (don't be fooled by his name, he's no flower). Gemma does insta love so well, this wasn't as wham bam as Echo, but Daisy sure steaked his claim on Angel, and girl does sex scenes SO HOT!!!!!!
Looking forward to the next book Gemma *biting knuckles!*
I'm swooning hard! Daisy is a sexy young stud that's newly patched into the only family he's known. The Doomsday Sinners runs Archer's Creek and keeps it safe from gangs, cartels and hard drugs. I haven't read Echo yet but this story is terrific. It took me awhile to get used to a big biker named Daisy but with his bravery and sexiness I fell in love with him. When he falls for Angelique and rescues her from her horrible family life his wonderful personality shines. His Angel is a young innocent that is running from her evil father and his nefarious plans for her. She has been so beaten down by her circumstances that she's a trembling mess when she runs to Daisy for help. But with Daisy's gentle care she blooms into a strong woman. Daisy's patience with her was so swoon worthy as he guides her to find her inner sex kitten. They are a young loving couple that belongs together and together they are. They sexy are sweet and hot! I have to give a shoutout to Grits and her lady balls. Loved her and the brotherhood. This story focuses on the terrific characters and their story rather than being a blood and guts type of MC story. The author does a fabulous job of character development and makes us care about the wonderful characters she has created. For me it dragged a little in some parts and was somewhat predictable but overall was a fantastic read. I was ready to jump into Blade because I loved the writing and these fierce brothers and their women. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
I admit I had to go back and re-read Echo before I started Daisy and I’m glad I did. We were introduced to Daisy in Echo’s book and I wanted more of him (because of his name). I really felt for Angel, how could a parent do a child like that?! Daisy and Angel fight for their love and the club has their backs. I’m so not going to give the ending away, but PLOT TWIST!! I can’t wait for book three!
Why Daisy Why?? I think I could have really enjoyed this book had he not had a threesone the night he noticed Angel. Plus it was detailed. All you have to say is he took them to his room. Then he runs into Angel the next day and it's all about her from then on. I did love how he was all about Angel after that but I just can't let the threesone go. He does shrug off Ali the clubwhore who wants to be an old lady. I kept waiting for the two girls to come back and Angel realize he was literally just with them. Idk. Glad I live in my little old boring world. It's hard to believe her momma chose the man that beat her children over them.

This is the 2nd book in Ms Weir's Archer's Creek MC series, focusing on Daisy (H). And Daisy is 180 degrees from Echo's overpowering in your face dominance & intensity. And that's not a bad thing, at all. Just different from Echo, as people in real life are. Daisy is young, only 21, is a prospect for the Doomsday Sinners, devoted to his club & club brothers & reveling in all the perks the club provides: especially the women that freely give the young handsome biker ALL the attention & loving he wants. But Daisy's had a hard childhood, tossed from foster home to foster home, most of which were bad to awful until he finds the Doomsday Sinners. And his home & true family of club brothers. Angelique (h) is 18, is the Archer's Creek Mayor's daughter & has experienced hell on earth with an abusive father & a mother so demoralized she does nothing but find excuses for the abuse. And then, Daisy & Angelique, or Angel as he calls her, stumble across each other . . . . Their story is intense, haunting, tragic, sad. Daisy was damaged but Angel is broken, her only escape from the horror at home is to retreat deep within her mind, to go 'elsewhere' until the current explosion of abuse ends. Until the next time. But both Daisy & Angel have an inner strength, Daisy found his peace & healing with his club & he just may be Angel's hope for escape, protection, healing, & maybe even love. The author's deft touch pulls the reader into this deeply emotional tale as Daisy tries to do what he feels is right to protect & help his tiny delicate Angel. The reader feels Daisy's fear & worry at the possible damage he might do while trying to help the traumitized young woman, feel his joy when he sees her beautiful eyes sparkle with life, when he hears her giggle or laugh at something he said or did. And Daisy plunges with almost reckless speed to place Angel in his care almost immediately once he is aware of the serious danger she is in. The reader also feels Angel's terror as well as her bone deep determination to permanently flee her home situation, but she doesn't truly realize how doomed her planned escape is. But as terrified & cutoff from the world as she is, perhaps the beautiful sweet biker with the silly name can help, if not save her. The reader CARES about Angel, hopes against hope things WILL be alright; our hearts ache for a young Daisy doing what his instincts tell him when it comes to helping his little Angel, supporting her, helping her, healing her & the reader HOPES that somehow they are able to heal & find a HEA. Together. But although the Doomsday Sinners MC is behind & beside Daisy & Angel, there are powerful foes rabidly focused on taking everything from Angel: her freedom, her sanity, her future. This one has incredible sadness as well as incredible love, loyalty, bravery, support & inner strength two young people find for each other. There's danger, suspense, betrayal, vengence & deep stalwart love. And sweet sweet steam. A deeply moving story that brought me tears (sad & happy), smiles, worry, anger & most of all, deep deep satisfaction for a wonderfully written story about characters I was invested in & cared about.
Book 2 in the Archer’s Creek MC series. You don’t have to read Echo to enjoy Daisy, but if you want to get stuck into a book knowing the backdrop and some of the characters I highly recommend you do.
Daisy has been a prospect in the Doomsday Sinners MC for the last 18 months. Loyal to his club and brothers, they are his family and he loves everything that they represent. Women come and go easy for Daisy, he is young, like’s variety and spreading the love… and then he meets an Angel.
Angelique is the daughter of the Mayor of Archer’s Creek, and knows she must stay away the MC member that she recently crossed paths with. She has lived a sheltered life due to her father’s increasing control over her, but now 18, she hopes she will be able to escape her prison and go to college. But her father has other ideas and her plans may need to change.
I really enjoyed this book. Having read Echo, I had already met Daisy. When I found out that his book would be next I was intrigued to see where Gemma would go with it. In the opposite direction is where. She has shook it up, changed pace and given us a very captivating storyline.
There is nothing that I love better than opposites attracting to make perfection. Daisy… That man. I knew very early in the book that he would hold my heart and I wasn’t wrong. He is your typical biker but Angel really brings something out of him and the gentleness he has for her made me swoon. As for Angel, well she surprised me. She had an inner strength that you slowly see kick in as the story progressed, and I believe that is not just due to Daisy, but also because of the MC brother’s unwavering loyalty to Daisy and the connection he has for Angel.
I can imagine that as much as a debut is nerve-wracking that the follow up must be even worse. Was the first book a fluke? Will everyone hate this one? Well I can wholeheartedly say that no nerves are needed by Gemma Weir. I think this book proves that Gemma has genuine talent. The progression in her writing, depth of characterisation and tempo change shows that this author has a lot more in the tank, and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
If you are looking for a MC read that is about connection between 2 strangers that couldn’t be more different, Daisy is a MUST READ!
Daisy, oh Daisy. What am I going to do with you. I knew, after reading Echo, that I would love you and I do, so freaking much.
Now, I feel like a bit of a cougar, fantasizing over a twenty-one year old 😂 but I can't help it! I need you. Now, about the book....
You know how in some books you have to read 50%+ of the book before the characters get down and dirty and you get really bored waiting for sexy times? Well there is no danger of that with Daisy, No, because we jump straight into a saucy threesome don't we!? Didn't have any time to prepare for that one 😉 and man was it hot! 🔥🔥
Angel was just the saddest little thing I have ever met 😭 within pages of the book I already wanted to smack the shit outta her father, mayor douche! And wrap my arms around that poor girl. I feel for her so much, how she wants to do what's right but her feelings for Daisy are too strong to keep her away. I also loved Grits and how she came in and took Angel under her wing! And she's a total badass!
Jefferson, the dad. Well, what can I say?! There are no words I can use to describe him. I am 100% sure that anyone who reads this book with want to cut this man's balls off with a rusty knife. And the mother.... jeeze, I can't even with her! What decent mother would allow these kinds of things to happen to her children!?
Angel was a lost soul, someone who needed saving. Daisy and the club saved her and gave her the family she needed. Their love was sweet and gentle yet true. I knew, after reading Echo, that I would love this story even more and I did.
And finally, that epilogue! YES! I couldn't have been happier! Now Gemma needs to hurry up and write all the words for the next book because I'm not sure how long I can wait!
Okay this was great! I really connected to the torn, abused heroine and her plight. I needed to see what she went through to feel her pain and anguish and it really tore at my heart. I can see why these two fit and fall into each other quickly. When your soul or fate guides you to your one you take it and go. Daisy is a marvel of an alpha, so patient and sexy as well. Anders and grits stole my heart. Blade intrigued me.
Small cons or just something for the author to think about . Not a fan of seeing a character be intimate with others (no cheating - was before the couple met) although I recognize this as a personal thing and I wouldn’t take a star for it. It was hot scene, I’ll give it that. Daisy was fully redeemed anyway. Author should be careful with some sentence structure, for example one read “he doesn’t like f-ing children” and I laughed at that one. That obviously makes it sound like something bad, when it should read he doesn’t like children or reverse the two words. And as much as I loved this scene where grits is shooting a gun, that would cause quite a ruckus in a public setting. The topic of others being around and how the MC handles that was glossed over and for me that causes my mind to spin a little wondering how that worked and I know it will for other readers as well. A beta read will catch things like that.
All that said this deserves 5 stars. Really Daisy is just amazing and then you have Anders and Grits and I can’t get enough of them. The epilogue had my eyes bugging and I cannot wait to see what happens! I really hope Blade gets his day and maybe this next set up is it. I don’t know but I loved it and will read the next. This is a new author for me and I’m excited to see what she comes up with next.
Gemma is a new author to me, I might have started reading this series in the wrong order, but it was very easily be read as a standalone book. As always I never read the blurb and I was a little confused at the beginning thinking Daisy was a woman (how wrong was I?) This book captures you from chapter 1.
This book is dual POV, it brings you sadness, hatred, violence, fear, betrayal, friendship, kindness, lust, love and hot sex.
Life lesson - Never judge people by how they look, your enemy could have a lead role in the community wearing a suit and your knight in shining armour could be riding a Harley and wearing a cut.
⛔⛔⛔SOME SPOLIERS⛔⛔⛔
Daisy had a crappy childhood but he’s now a newly patched MC living a much happier life he has women dropping to their knees – literally – whenever he wants, there’s always some club woman ready and willing, this works well for him, until he meets the blonde haired, sad eyed beauty. She’s the Mayor’s daughter and he keeps her hidden and out of contact with the world, but she’s smarter than her dad thinks, their only way of talking is through email, but she’s worth it. The mayor thinks MC guys are bad, so why the hell is he messed up with drug smuggling, arms dealer and peoples trafficking? He’s about to find out why and he won’t like the answer. Can he keep his promise to her and keep his Angel safe?
Angel is quiet, now the only child after her sister’s death, she lives with her abusive father and a mother who is his doormat, she hates her life and has planned out her escape for a long time. When she meets Daisy, she can’t believe he is actually interested in her, finds her pretty and wants to spend time with her. But how can she when she has no life outside of the prison that should be her home? Daisy is so different and make liking him not an option, he has promised to protect her no questions asked, but can he really keep her safe? From her father maybe, but a US senator that can have someone killed in the blink of an eye? Will she ever be free to live her life and love freely? Will they get an HEA? Or will it be stolen away from them?
I absolutely loved book 2 in the Archers Creek series! Daisy was my favourite right from the start of Echo (book 1) so I'm really glad he got his own book and it became a fast favourite of mine right from the beginning.
"When you need me, I'll stand in front of you and shelter you from the entire fucking world. The rest of the time I'll stand by your side and we'll face whatever comes our way together."
Like book 1, it doesn't take the alpha male biker long to fall for the girl and while in some books I find that a little eye roll worthy, Gemma manages to keep this one believable and it just feels totally right. Daisy is so patient and sweet with Angel and I adored him for it.
"I don't fucking know what love feels like, but I do know that I need her"
Angel was perfect for Daisy. I almost fist pumped everytime she dropped her guard and showed how strong she really is. Her back story is an awful one and I really felt for her but again it only proved how brave and strong she is under her meek exterior.
The story was paced well and I really enjoyed seeing the two of them fall in love and get to know each other, while growing individually at the same time. The drama was exciting and I was flipping pages to try and find out what her awful father would do next!
It was sexy, suprisingly sweet and jam packed with all the feels (and a bunch of hot bikers) so basically a win win for me!
"Sometimes you just know, and I know, that you're it for me."
This book is absolutely AMAZING and everyone needs to read this book!!
Daisy is the 2nd book in the Archers Creek series, I loved Echo but wow Daisy has knocked it out the park....Gemma has undoubtedly produced a book that from page 1 to the very last page captures you...and let me tell you need to read to the very last page...
Daisy and Angel are just destined to be together, from the very first meeting you know these 2 characters will be together forever!! I loved Daisy..he is just a character you can’t help but fall in love with, he is so sweet and loving!! Angel is a girl you just want to hold in your arms and save from everything...these characters are brilliant and make this story what it is!
The whole story honestly pulled me in, I didn’t want it to end but at the same time I just had to keep reading to know what was gonna happen...this story is just so gripping and it makes you shout at the book, and believe me I did shout at it...it has twist and turns I didn’t expect at all.
Gemma Weirs writing style is definitely amazing and I just love the stories she writes, this one deserves 5 ⭐️ if not so much more...amazing read and I can’t wait for more books from this undoubtedly brilliant author.
This is the second book in this series and they should be read in order. This book is an emotional rollercoaster. You get a taste of it at the very end of Echo and Liv’s book at their wedding. This book picks up right where the first one ends. Daisy is drawn to this girl. He has never seen her before and has no clue who she is. But, there is something. The way the man is talking to her and how she is reacting pulls at him to go to her and find out who she is. She is an angel or at least to Daisy she is. He wants to get to know her. Not long after the wedding he spots her in town and gets her to talk to him. That’s all it takes. She is Daisy’s whether she realizes it or not. He would do anything for her. In the end he helps her save herself. I loved this book so much. Daisy is there for Angel the way no one has been in a while. He wants to help her for no other reason than because she is it for him. He loves her with all her heart. If she wanted to leave and start over somewhere else he would leave his brotherhood for her. Daisy and Angel are amazing characters. I was glad to get to read about the other characters from the first book as well. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and she where the series goes next. These guys are so amazing. They are there for each other no matter what. They support each other. The girls are pretty great too. The guys help them be stronger with out doing things for them but that doesn’t mean they won’t step in if needed.
Daisy notices Angel and introduces himself, but her father the town mayor shoes him away. Daisy can't stop thinking about Angel but he finds she is not in town much. One moment though changes everything and Daisy tells Angel to find him if she needs help.
Angel overhears her abusive father doing something that frightens her to core. She knows she needs to run and makes a decision to seek help with Angel at the Archer's Creek MC. Daisy steps in right away and he pulls in his MC. After hearing Daisy's story they vow to her that she will be protected and even though her instinct is to run she doesn't. Daisy makes his feelings for Angel known, he wants Angel to be by his side and now he needs to convince the beautiful woman whose innocence shines through that he is worthy of her. Will Angel be willing to give Daisy the chance he is asking for?
I really liked this one, I did question a few things with Angel because she was so sheltered but then seemed to know a lot of things I was surprised she would know. Daisy's terrific, he is so protective of Angel and I appreciated the way he stands up to anyone who he believes isn't on her side, even when they are. Really good addition to this series.

Daisy is book 2 in the wonderful MC series by Gemma Weir and there was nothing, and I mean nothing, that I did not love about this book. The characters were amazing, the storyline, pace and flow was excellent and I utterly adored every word that I read. I cannot believe that this is still only the author’s second book! Its official I am in love with Daisy! OMG he was just – I can’t actually think of one word to describe him! He was hot, he was sexy, he was a brilliant alpha male I could go on but for me he was just perfection! *swoon* I loved his dominant side too!! So one of the reasons this book didn’t get 5 stars was I really struggled to connect with Angel, I was hoping for a little bit more from her if I am totally honest. However the chemistry was there between the two characters and that I believed. I liked that they each had their own story to tell and things about themselves to discover. I am really looking forward to book 3 in this series!!
Daisy is a prospector for the Doomsday sinners a role everyone has to take before they earn there worth as a fully fledged sinner and brother. Not that it makes him any less a brother but he gets all the jobs none of the patched brothers want to do. He dont mind he knows he has to prove his worth an it will all be worth it in the end. He came to the sinners a 18 yr old knuckle head and broken until a chance incounter with a angel changes everything. Angel is used to not being seen not bein known and hides away from the world. But when she has to take her fathers cell to him that he had forgotten she is seen and noticed. Her father isnt happy that she is there but his ranting at her pushed aside when she see HIM standing in front of her. She leaves knowing she will never see him again under her fathers scrutiny she leave the building an heads home with Him just being a memory. Or so she thinks.
Omg Achers creek reviews are so hard to do without giving any spoilers so its just a snippet of info from the start of the book. I love this town and the sinners i cant wait for book 3.
This is part 2 of the series and although it could be read as a stand alone i would highly recommend reading echo first and some of the details in this book may make more sense if you do.
Well done gemma im hooked and eagerly awaiting book 3 in this series.
Ok,first the news, you do not need to read the first book in the series to read this story. Some people may find it better to read the first book, but i never had a problem jumping straight into this story. What a great book to read, i loved the opposites attract side of the romance that explodes with passion. Blooms is not the right word for this books romance it is hot and explosive but also delicate and sexy - love that. I love the connection Daisy and Angel have (sigh) but i also love the bad guys in this book. Now let me get this straight i don't mean i love them like ooh he is a hot bad boy i mean they are awful its good to have characters to despise it shows the author has got you invested in the story - which i was btw. Daisy was a character that needed his own story since we got a glimpse of him in the first book and this story certainly does him justice :)
After the first book Echo I was really excited to go back to Archers Creek!
In the second book we are introduced to Daisy and Angel.
Daisy is a swoony biker and I fell for his words. Angel is a fairly timid young women who has been controlled far to long by her overbearing father.
The slow burn of this book is in complete contrast to Echo and for me I loved that. Gemma’s writing has matured and the writing has so much more depth and characterisation.
There are some real stand out chapters for me in this story. The dialogue Angel shares with her father are some of the best.
I did work out the twist in the book but it didn’t detract from the story and it just makes me want to read book three.
Daisy by Gemma Weir is book Two in the Archer's Creek series. This is the story of Angelique 'Angel' and Daisy. I haven't yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book. Angel is just 18 and looking to get out of her father's control who has kept her very sheltered but he isn't allowing her freedom to do so. Angel's father is the Mayor so he has power in over the town. Daisy (this man is no flower) is a prospect of the Doomsday Sinners MC. Daisy is young and women love him but when he sees Angel he know that she is special. Daisy and Angel are definitely different people but it isn't stopping their feelings. This book does leave a little mystery to set you up for the next book. Really enjoyed this book!
