This book is unbelievable!!!!!! I say that in the best way. I Could not put it down. I was glued to every word. Please mr. Hayden wrote another book on this don't leave me hanging!!!
More chilling and secrets are exposed. New characters are introduced and situation becomes more sinister and dangerous. A few typo's but still better than the first.
After buying what they thought was their dream house unexplained things begin to happen. Rob does some investigating and finds out information that changes everything. Has everyone in his life been lying to him? Can he figure out wht is going on before he or Janet is killed? Love this book...Cannot wait to read more.....
Not as good as the first book but still really good
This book was more intense than the other. More paranormal stuff going on, and at times was a bit spooky to be reading in bed in the dark with only the light of my tablet. That is the difference between the two books, but the writing is still very good and will keep you interested in what is next. This book starts off right where the other book left off at. If you haven’t read the first book you probably wouldn’t be lost as the author does a good job at fillin in past stuff, but the first book is great and has more descriptive and explanation of the characters and such. As for my preteen - teen readers this is a bit on the scary side at times, and so maybe a bit much. It also has much more curse words than the first book did. So I’m kind of on the fence on recommending it to someone young. But for us adults this is really good. And can’t wait to continue the book with the last one
This book is more interesting than the its previous part because the story really picked up pace, also due to mysterious past of the main character, Rob. I was planning to give this book 4 stars till the psychic guy stepped in :( suddenly the story became too typical. The following scenes reminded me strongly of the movie 'Insidious'. Yet i will move on to the next part since I liked the way this book ended.
I only gave it 3 stars because it leaves you hanging. I didn't mind when bk 0 did. I expected it. SPOILER ALERT! This bk is a serial. It simply has no ending. You are left dangling and encouraged to read the next bk. I understand the serial part but it simply piled on more questions and answered none. Also main characters are wishy washy and have no purpose. I do not recommend.
Rob and Janet recently moved onto their dream home. They heard strange noises and saw a man near the house. Rob found evidence in a trunk on the attac that sent him to the previous owner for an explanation.
I really get annoyed when the author doesn’t finish a book but wants you to buy another book to find out what happens. That is what happened in this book. It was well written but left the reader hanging.
It was ok. Didn't really grab my attention but it's just one of those times you just want to finish the book just to finish it and see how it ended. The characters were a little dull n the ghost was as well. And then to throw in that plot twist between the wife n husband is very unbelievable because of what happens there would be no reason for them to run a test for that just cause of what happened.
The story has picked up speed and has become more interesting. So many things are happening and The ending leaves you hanging, so if course....I'm on to The next book!! The editing was much better in this book!
I could have given this 5 stars, but I despise books that have no endings. And I won't make an effort to get the sequel. I wonder how many sequels there will be before the story is done.
There is no resolution to the problem. There are several books in the "series" which is designed to get you to buy them all! So, go into it with this knowledge and be prepared to spend more! Title should be Part 1, not book 1!
The spelling and sentence structure errors have again interrupted my enjoyment of this book, as it did with Book 0. I really recommend the author invest in a proofreader.
