The Fist That Bound Me: A Stand Alone Novel
Jade is caught up in an abusive relationship with a man whom she revealed her life's hardest memories; entrusting him with her heart, he turns out to be the very thing she has been trying to escape. When Greg's abuse damn near kills Jade her sisters Corrina and Telissa step in and remove her from the home.
As Jade deals with her hurtful past and her current abusive relationship she is introduced to a new way of life and new friends. She seems to adjust well to her new environment, but when the past starts to reel its ugly head Jade fights to stand her ground.

"The Fist That Bound Me" by Trinity Dekane
My Thoughts...
What a well written story with so much sadness and emotional pain that dealt with such domestic abusive violence that happened to these girls [Jade, Corrina, Telissa & Dee] that many have gone through. How they made it through it was really a horrible story. I still wish Jade would have told her mother on just what was going on with her father. But oh well this happens and naturally Jade would end up with someone like Greg who used 'his badge for all the wrong reasons.' However, thank God Malcolm comes into the picture and to learn the rest of the story you will have to pick up this phenomenal good read to see who well this author brings out this journey all out to the reader. I found this story a very realistic one and that ending was really something!
I love what the author also presents to the readers concerning this subject matter at the end of the read. Would I recommend this novel? YES!

Omg this book definitely a eye opener. I have never read a book like this before it had so much raw emotion in it. All I can say because I don’t wanna tell the story baby read this book. It will definitely open your eyes to domestic violence like you have read before. Trinity you told this story baby girl. I’m definitely a fan you wrote your heart and and I appreciate you and your book. Please read this book you will not be disappointed at all.

Not for the faint of heart
I almost gave up on this book in the first chapter. I had to put it down. Too dang raw. Too sad. But then I was curious to know these girls' fates and I was praying for victory. This book showed that people respond differently to abuse - some overcome, some don"t but there's varying degrees of survival. I found this a difficult read; even though I knew it was about abuse, it threw me that the victims were so young when it started. I don't know how they were able to trust anyone having suffered what they went through. A wealth of resources and information at the end of the book, making this reason enough to download if you or loved ones are experiencing any type of abuse.

INCEST AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TWO VERY SERIOUS SUBJECTS !
Once again The Author did an outstanding job. She addresses two very serious subjects, in such a way. That you definitely will, feel some type of way. Three Sisters the main characters grow up, with so much heartache and pain. That it becomes unbearable for one of the Sisters, that she commit suicide. Take a ride with these Sisters, as they embark on a emotional journey. I would and did recommend, this book because not only does it have the potential to save a life. Its quite a well written and pleasurable read. My rating for this book, is 5 🌟 's.

Just awesome
I don’t know where to start. This book was just so amazing from the first page to the last it grabs your attention you feel ever word, you experience the characters pain, their hurt it gives woman hope. Every person reading can relate to something in this book and I encourage everyone to share this book to another woman wether it be just to give them encouragement or hope it’s a message that needs to be heard ! OMG this book was phenomenal and had me in my feeling. These sisters was some strong women and I'm so glad they had a happy ending. This is one of those stories that had me on the edge of my seat. Their daddy was a scum bag and he got just what he deserved. Greg was one of those men that used his badge to cover his deceit and I was so glad when the mom killed him. Jade went through some things but became a stronger person in the end. Trinity Dekane has done it again with a very powerful must read.

This story had me feeling a wide range of emotions. Well written with a steady flow. The life the main character had to endure was not only hard but challenging. The pain, the sorrow and the physical abuse had me all over the place. The author has done a great job dealing with real life issues in a way that will spark many conversations, also making the reader understand a little more of the affects of sexual abuse on a child's life. Thank you Trinity DeKane for a great read and the great resources at the end.

Excellent Book
This book had me in a wide range of emotions. Definitely a 5 Star read. My heart went out Jade and her sisters after all they went through with their father. The one person who was supposed to protect them turns out hurting them. I really enjoyed reading this book because it dealt with the Issue of Domestic Violence & Rape which a lot of women are dealing with today. I also like that it was very informative as well by providing statistics and sources for women to get help. Excellent and Powerful read.

Very sad but good
It was good open you to a lot of stuff people really go through this but scared to talk. Definitely will have you in your feelings . Their dad in this story was trifling how could you look at your daughters in a sexually way and how can you do those things and it cause a child’s life because she felt like she would never end so sad ! And Greg preyed on his wife because he knew she was week from the start . Just thinking that she got raped by her course always smh and was pregnant smh . I pray for any and everybody that’s going through !

Satisfied Reader
This book is a definite tear jerker. My heart went put to Jade,Corrina,Telissa and Dee. I hated their father in the worse way. I wish I could've reached through my phone and killed him myself. Malcolm was like a breath of fresh air to Jade. I love him. Greg was scum and used his badge for all the wrong reasons. That ending had me in tears. I never was a victim but my heart goes out to all who's going thru it. There's light at the end of the tunnel

Excellent
Excellent and powerful read! Jades testimony had me emotional and gave me hope! This story is the perfect example of someone in a position of power abusing that power and this story shows that there is a way out! I highly recommend this read and at times it was hard for me to read! In reality this is some women's day to day lives and I applaud Trinity for writing this story!

A Huge Eye Opener
All I can say is wow. This is definitely a page turner you don't want to skip. If you have a friend, or you yourself are a victim then please read. Sometimes we as women need to know that there is life after joy is taken. This book is a also full of information, phone numbers and links. The author really showed up with her resources. Look in the mirror after reading this. You will really start to value yourself more. Definitely a five star.

Very emotional
This was a great book with a disturbing subject matter. Which had bring tears to my eyes through out the book. Abuse needs to be talked about more often maybe more. Victims will speak up about it. The fact the statistics and resources was found in the book meant tat the author took her time to do the research to give good information about this subject matter. Well written Trinity Dekane

Powerful story although beginning was devastatingly sad. Jade and her sisters experienced an extremely painful & traumatic childhood. From dealing with her sister's demise to marrying a monster, she learned that with mental help she could make it through turbulent times. While her father and Greg were evil, Malcolm was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Very good storyline with valuable content. Highly recommended

Anyone from buffalo ny that has experienced a loss of a child by miscarriage, stillborn etc. Sisters of Charity Hospital has an excellent program called footprints in the heart. And for those who have experienced a loss and trying again they have hopeful hearts. They also do a candle lighting ceremony in January and every October they have the walk to remember in honor of the babies who passed.

What’s the saying ... God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soilders, man from beginning they had it bad sperm donor deserved everything he got and more. Greg he was a piece of shit, and they were protecting him, I’m glad mamma finally put an end to his misarable life. Malcom he was exactly what the doctor ordered for Jade.....

Wow
This book was everything. I cried while reading this story. It's a shame the amount of abuse that is going on in the country. I give Jade props for overcoming everything that she had been through. Her and her sisters have been through hell and back. Greg just needed to die. Malcolm was such a sweetheart. I'm glad everything worked out in the end for everyone.

This was a good read. The character development was great and I really felt the pain, fear and disparagement that the sisters experienced throughout. I'm sure the information added at the end for people who need assistance in the things discussed in the book (example:escaping domestic violence, help with the loss of a child, etc. assistance) can be of great help.

This was a good read, although the childhood portion had me cringing and I had to stop a few times. I know this happens unfortunately, but I didn't want to read it because when I read, I usually imagine scenes in my head and I did not want to see that!

an amazing story. this story shows that families know what's going on but want to keep things on the hush. jade father and his mother are sick people. I felt for them girls and the pain they endured. I felt that anger that jade expressed when speaking to the therapist, because how do you forgive someone who practically destroyed you. Malcolm a blessing

This was an excellent read
Trinity did her thing with this book. I especially liked all of the resources she had at the end of this book. It is very helpful for anyone that has been abused or lost a child. This was a very emotional book but was happy about the outcome and Greg got his krama

Great read for anyone
The book and the story being told us great and must be told. There are a few word choices that should have been corrected before print, but they did not affect the story of outcome. I would recommend to any reader as it is an eye opener and could be a life changer.

A Great Read.
This was one story that had me on the edge of my seat. Their father was the devil, and he got what he deserved. The sisters went through a lot at the hands of their father. I’m happy Jade and her sister made up. This story is a tear-jerker and heartbreaking. I'm happy with the result in the end. Trinity DeKane you have a new reader on your team.

Heart wrenching
Smh. Wow. This book had me in my feelings. The dad was truly a p.o.s!!. Poor Dee.. That baby.... The sisters went through this turmoil together. Im happy to see that a bad situation ended up good in the long run..

Jade was a strong woman to put up with everything she went through as a child. Her father started the cycle, and her boyfriend Greg continued it.
Greg was supposed to protect and serve. He didn't get the memo, but later on he got the message.
