Clash (verb): to conflict, disagree

It might be fair to say that I despise Macy Carrington. She slings insults with precision, not caring about the destruction she leaves in her wake. We clash in a battle of wills every time we’re around each other, and yet… I still fantasize about being lodged deep within her body.

Clash (verb): to come together or collide

I have never encountered someone that grates me the way Cal Carson does. His pompous, arrogant demeanor. A holier-than-thou attitude. Any interaction with “Saint Cal” ends in a verbal clash of epic proportions, and yet… there’s no one I’d rather have in my bed than him.

Clash (noun): a battle, fight or skirmish

Her breathy moans mingle with the sound of our flesh coming together, clashing with the silence that surrounds us, dispelling any notions I once had about Macy Carrington.

Maybe I can break down her walls if we can call a truce to this battle.

He whispers filthy words in my ear, provoking feelings I never knew were possible. The burning desire in his touch clashes with everything I once believed about Cal Carson.

Maybe he can be the balm I need to soothe my broken soul, if only temporarily.

**Cal and Macy’s story is a trilogy within the Legal Affairs series. All three books—Clash, Grind and Yield—must be read in order. You do not have to read the other Legal Affairs books to understand this trilogy.

I'm a big fan of Sawyer Bennett and I was a huge fan of Legal Affairs Boxed Set: Volumes 1-6 with Mac and Matt Fucking Connover. Oh my, even when I think of him now, I still have butterflies. But to the point, when I found out there will be continuation of this story with Cal and Macy, I knew I would be reading it. Good decision on my part, because I liked this one a lot.

Main characters are Mac’s best friends. Macy is her female best friend and Cal is her male best friend and partner in law firm. They know each other through Mac, but not that well, you could say that they’re just acquaintances. Every time they meet though, they have this bickering hate thing going on…

“Needle dick wouldn’t even know where to put it. Besides, I’m pretty sure saints are lousy fucks.”

„She wouldn’t know what to do with a cock like mine. But I know this… Ice Princess here is so frigid that I’m sure she’d freeze it off.”
They meet at a party and during one of those tiffs, the word exchange is so intense that they end up having sex in kitchen's pantry. And let me tell you, that pantry sex... scorching hot. Sawyer Bennett can write good sex, no doubt here.

After that, they go separate ways as usual, Macy goes back to her old habits and uses One Night Only service, while Cal tries to resurrect relationship with ex-girlfriend, that left him six months ago. I had a little problem here, I mean I know they are still nothing to each other but you just know they are going to end up together and thus why I didn't like reading . It just didn't sit well with me.

But let's not allow minor thing like that spoil the fun, because in spite of this little thing, I liked this one a lot. It was sexy, it was funny, it had a promise of great series ahead and it was very well written (hey, it's Sawyer Bennett, you can't expect anything less than good). Not to mention that Cal and Macy are talkers, pretty experienced and wild in bedroom, I can't wait to see what else they got. I am excited for next parts and will definitely be reading them.

Sawyer Bennett..you once again got me hooked!!! Let me clarify, more like addicted. Clash...what a perfect and fitting title for this story of Cal and Macy of Legal Affairs. Two polar opposite personalities who have nothing in common. Well they do have two things in common, they are both the best friends of Mac and they both can agree that one hot sexual encounter in the food pantry was off the charts steamy.

#1_kiss

Cal Carson is a successful lawyer who is looking for a relationship where he can settle down. He is the monogamous type. Whereas, Macy Carrington is young, beautiful, wealthy, and doesn't do relationships. But what people don't know is that Macy has these secrets from her past that haunts her. She uses sex as her outlet to numb the pain.

That one passionate encounter in the pantry was one that neither could forget. And Macy usually does not do repeat and for the first time, she was willing to break her own rules because there was something in Cal that sparked something inside her. The sex was simply raw and explosive. When Macy finds herself being sued, Mac asked Cal to take on the case. So can Cal resist his attraction to Macy? Or will Macy's sexual advances be his downfall in keeping the lines of lawyer and client professional?

As always, Ms. Bennett did a terrific job introducing what I think would be one hot and sexy series. Cal and Macy's sexual attraction is so magnetic that I can't wait to see what is to come in the next installment. Another hot and sexy read from the talented Sawyer Bennett.

When I heard about Clash, I thought we would have a new book about McKayla and Matt from Legal Affairs Boxed Set: Volumes 1-6 and I was thrilled. It turns out it the book will be about Macy (McKayla best friend) and Cal (McKayla business partner/friend) and Matt ex-best friend but still friend). I was still intrigued because I couldn't picture them together.

description

The Legal Affair series was my first book from Sawyer Bennett and I followed her since. I love her books and thinking about this series make me want to read Matt's pov (Confessions of a Litigation God) which I never read because I didn't had the time and because I'm usually not a fan of male pov after we already know the story.

But back to Macy and Cal ;) The story starts at McKayla and Matt son's birthday party with Cal who tries to avoid Macy as much as possible. He has nothing against her but he doesn't really get on with her either. Every time they are in the same room, they can't stop to irritate each other, to annoy the other and to drive each other mad. And this time was no different.

But when your sex or your sexual appetite are threatened, neither of them can't stand it. So what's best than fuck it out of their system to show that 1) Macy is not frigid and 2) Cal has not a needle dick!
As always, steamy scenes are hot! Sawyer Bennett can write about sex for sure.

I gave it 3 stars mainly because I did like the book but I didn't love it. I found Cal was whining about Macy and then after they had sex he wanted her but

The real strength was Macy. She is still a mystery. We only get glimpse of her thought through small chapters in the form of entries in her diary. She hides something or maybe it's better to she suffer from something which is related with her family. She buries her pain with sex and she does it through a date via a Website "One Night only"
But when she has to face a law suit, the only person who can help her is Cal ( he's a lawyer)

description

I can already say the story will intensify. I hope Cal won't be a pain in the ass and act like a jerk. There's more to Macy than the unattainable girl she let people think she is and I can't wait to know more.

Devoured this one, quite literally...and the next. Bloody excellent!

4 Come on, Saint Cal stars

I was very excited to pick the start of this story up, even though I had promised to wait until the 3 short bursts were released..ooops!

Cal Carson had been a bit of a turnaround character in the Legal Affairs series. He had completely blown his once close friendship with Matt, to the extent that when he started a dialogue with Mac, Matt was quick to let her know that he wasn’t to be trusted.

Having finished Legal Affairs, and I feel you really do need to read them in order to have any idea of the characters, you would know that Mac and Cal are in a much better place, and even Matt now tolerates his company.

We know Macy Carrington from the Legal Affair series, after all, she was the cheeky chick who introduced her best friend, Mac, to the concept that is “One Night Only”. We got a gist of her sexual bravado, her unwillingness to engage a repeat with anyone, and her utter distaste for Cal Carson.

Cal and Macy’s fiery dislike of each other burns along a fine line, and before long they find themselves in a carnal conundrum that neither of them can understand.

”…because in my fantasy, if her mouth is full of dick, I don’t have to listen to her irritating voice.”

As each of them question their intense desire for one another, reasons behind the behaviour start to come to light, and exposed hearts may be under heavy artillery.

Told mostly in Cal’s POV, interspersed with Macy’s revealing narrative, I found another welcome continuation to the adored Legal Affairs series. Too bloody excited to wait, I’m Grinding straight on..

This was a great start to this new serial from Sawyer Bennett, we met Cal and Macy in the previous Legal Affairs series so I was eager to see how these two fit. With their hate/hate relationship and some witty barbs it was surely gonna be fireworks?? Well, after frigid and needle dick get it on...there is definitely fireworks and they are of the explosive, intense sexual chemistry kind. With the hate/hate continuing I cannot wait to see how this relationship pans out.

Cal Carson and Macy Carrington dislike each other with a passion the only reason they spend time together is Mac Connover their mutual best friend.

They always bicker, throw insults and end up fighting until one day Macy insults push Cal to act.

1 Needle dick + 1 Frigid bitch = Fast, Filthy, HOTTEST BESTEST SEX EVER

What is going to happen next between Cal and Macy????

To be continued.

OMG, WHEN DOES THE NEXT ONE COME OUT?! Sorry to be all shouty, but I am that excited.

Cal is a lawyer, and man, what I wouldn’t do to get in trouble, just to have him help me out! He seems to know what he wants in life and is not afraid of commitment.

Macy is best friends with Cal’s business partner, and they get along as well as oil and water. Or maybe more like vinegar and baking soda, because when they get together, it is explosive!!! And so fucking hot!

The book ends on a small cliffy that will leave you wanting more and leave you sexually frustrated! ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

HOLY HOT PANTIES AND HATE SEX, BATMAN!! With a title like Clash and a blurb like that, there was really no way that this was going to be any less than an intense, dirty, kinky, hate-sex-filled and H.O.T. book. Add to that the fact it's a spin-off of Legal Affairs, one of my favorite series, and has an OMFG, you ended there? cliffhanger, and you've got the recipe for a exciting new read.

Cal Carson and Macy Carrington have nothing in common besides their shared friend, Mac. He hates her, she dislikes him. Their shared ire is a spark waiting to catch fire. They clash every time they meet, but all it takes is for one to push the verbal sparring too far and suddenly it goes from combustible to explosive.

Cal can't stop thinking about Macy. Macy thinks maybe Cal can ease her troubles. Neither wants to admit it out loud...

I probably could get away with writing HOT HOT HOT HOT on repeat until you understand. This. Book. Is. Hot. Like, seriously. I've been a fan of Ms. Bennett's for some time, and Cal and Macy may just about trump any other (dirty) couple she's penned thus far. Sure, they hate each other but wow, they have chemistry, and hate-to-sex-to-love is one of those storylines that is amazing when done right...and this first installment is done right.

It's not just the sex though. As a set-up for this new serial, Clash is a perfect starting point. Obviously, the connection between the two characters is established...oh, how it's established! But there's more to them both than meets the eye and it's presented in a way that makes it intriguing, not irritating. This author has a talent for writing the male POV and making seem real and true. Oh, and there's a finish that's sure to have you both panting and cursing, knowing that you're S.O.L until Grind, but relishing the fact that the best is yet to come. ~ Beth, 4.5 stars

~~~
I was so excited to see another Legal Affairs story was coming because I LOVED Mac and Matt’s story!! This time around we get Cal and Macy, both of whom had big roles in the Mac and Matt’s story.
Cal is ready to settle down and have a family. He wants what Mac and Matt have.
“Fuck, I want that, and maybe it makes me a pussy, I don’t know. But I’m so ready to settle down. I want the wife and kids, and I know without a doubt that I’m ready for the responsibility of it all.”
He does not get along with Macy at all. The two put up with each other for Mac’s sake, but usually end up in an argument.
However, their barbs back and forth turn into quite the foreplay and that pantry scene was hot, hot, hot!! Unfortunate circumstances bring the two together again and it doesn’t take long for the sparks to fly.
“I mean…right this minute, I could just crawl onto your lap, pull your cock out, and ride it hard.”
This story was sexy and brilliant. We barely scratched the surface of Macy and her secrets and I cannot wait to read the next installment!! ~ Tiffany, 5 stars
Wow, I'm thinking Cal might just be my new BBF, who'd have thought we'd have our hands full with this quiet, unassuming man but damn, Cal is a little kinky!!!! What a pairing he and Macy make, from verbal fireworks to explosive sex, I need more from these two ASAP!!!!
description
We met Cal, Matt's ex-best friend and the man his wife cheated on him with in the first Legal Affairs series but apart from him coming across as an honourable man, desperate for Matt's forgiveness and to make his peace with what happened, against his wishes, Cal is simply a man who Mac calls her friend and business partner.
Macy, by comparison is the most misunderstood. Coming across as a man-eater who won't repeat her encounters, mainly through One Night Only, we finally get to see what makes her tick and what is revealed so far is a deeply underlying sadness.
The fun and games start though when Macy and Cal come together. Don't be fooled though, they are not best friends, or even best acquaintances... they hate each other and can't bear to be in each other's presence without verbalising their feelings for one another! It's not long though before the gauntlet is thrown down and Cal and Macy decide they can't back down from the latest, personal, accusations and decide to resolve their differences, in the only way they can, without breaking the law.
description
I loved this first instalment. It's a quick read but one which is packed full of passion and steaminess.
Wow... this book is off-the-chart HOT!! This is Macy & Cal, the other side characters from Legal Affair. Macy was Mac's best friend while Cal was Matt's but after the end of Legal Affair, Cal was now also best friend and business partner with Mac. Cal was actually the monogamous character in this book while Macy only did one-night-stand. Their chemistry was literally CLASHING!! & BANG!! their sex was freakin' HOT.
I have only 2 problems with the book, though.
Spoilers ahead!!!
1. Despite the fact that the author had repeatedly mentioned that Cal thought like a girl, this quote was seriously not possible even in book girlfriend... not to mention book boyfriend.
Fuck, I want that, and maybe it makes me a pussy, I don’t know. But I’m so ready to settle down. I want the wife and kids, and I know without a doubt that I’m ready for the responsibility of it all. My dream fantasy would be to find a gorgeous wife that fucks like a porn star, is independent yet warm, and is as equally adept at baking cookies as she is at running a million-dollar corporation. Then we’d produce some beautiful kids who would be equally as brilliant as their parents, and my life would be complete.
Such dream was beyond reality, I know... but it also beyond imagination. Even A girl know such person does not exist in even in books (maybe)... perhaps it was why it was his fantasy... he probably had something seriously pent-up inside his lawyer mind.
2. For the love of god, what you get from BJ does not taste Like strawberries and cream.
That was also beyond imagination.
Otherwise, the whole book was great... in fact their bantering was so turning me on... Ms. Sawyer Bennett writes great romance story and equally great sex scenes and this one gives even better sex scene, high promise and expectations... so much so that I feels frustrated that I now have to wait for the next part.
I should start this review with the following disclaimer: I love Sawyer Bennett's writing. I love how she writes character voices. I have read a few novels of hers and she quickly became a "go to" author for me.
This book is an interesting one. The first chapter I was thoroughly confused who the characters were. That's entirely my fault, I should have caught up on the other legal affair series (obviously not a cold fury novel where most of my past reading experience is). So my advice is to read that collection first.
I'm not sure I like Cal's character voice or Macy's for that matter. Sawyer can write steam and that is very VERY evident in this installment. It will also most likely be true for the entire Cal and Macy series. This series string is going to be rough, .
I didn't connect with this first release as much as I have with other series. I'm not sure if that's because I didn't read the first Legal Affairs series (I guess we can all guess what just made a top spot on my TBR list. I also found it really hard to connect with the two characters AND their connection to one another.
So I’m mixed on my feelings for Clash. I love Sawyer Bennett’s books and I loved her Legal Affairs series that Clash is a spin off series from. Clash is the story of Cal and Macy’s, which for those who read the Legal Affairs series are Matt’s ex best friend and Mac’s best friend. These two do not get along. They are always at each throat. While at a child’s birthday party things come to a head between them and it gets really STEAMY!!!!!!!
My issue with Clash was that I didn't see the connection between Cal and Macy and I thought Macy was kind of cold. But that might have been the point of the first book because these two aren’t supposed to get along at all and Macy according to Cal is an “ice queen”. I’m looking forward to the next book Grind to see if my feeling towards the characters will change.
“You two should just fuck each other,” Matt says abruptly, and my head spins so fast I almost dislocate it off my shoulders when I turn to gape at him. “Get all that pent-up energy and dislike out by doing something I know you both enjoy doing. You two could have some really amazing, angry sex.”
Oh dear Lord….Sawyer Bennett brought the schizzle in this book. I was so looking forward to reading about Macy and Cal’s story because for me, it kept the Legal Affairs series going and I am totally in love with this cast of characters. If you aren’t familiar with this series, I urge you to go and check out Legal Affairs and Confessions of a Litigation God. It is just amazing. Mac and Matt are at the top of my “I love these people” list and it is a series most definitely worth reading. If you haven’t read it, no fear you can jump into Clash easily enough, because Sawyer gives you all the background details you will need right off the bat.
Clash is part one in a three part series and is novella length. It is the meeting of the minds and many other glorious parts of Macy and Cal. To say they don’t like each other would be an understatement, but when these two throw caution to the wind and come together in the most unlikely of places….hold the fuck on, because this is a wild and sexy ride.
My very favorite part of Sawyer’s writing is the fact that she continues to give us such an amazing damn story with a side of hot, intense sex. The way this story is told from Cal and Macy’s POV was just brilliant….it is different and just amazing to get inside each of their heads. I love watching Macy and Cal start to break down to see where this sexual relationship is going. Although there is a cliffy, Grind, book two releases right around the corner so don’t hesitate to grab this one now…you will love it! 5 ‘Sawyer did it again’ Stars!
Cal and Macy are such a different couple than Matt and Mac. As they should be. This is their story. As much as I loved the witty banter between Mac and Matt, I truly appreciated the way Cal and Macy's relationship is unfolding. They're hot. Honest. And yet, there is something softer and deeper than what either of them wants to acknowledge. Whether they knew it or not, they were building a foundation for something pretty fantastic. Pick this one up!
𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵, 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱 and 𝗬𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 are Cal and Macy’s story, Mac from Legal Affair’s best friends. You don’t have to read the Legal Affairs series in order to understand this series, just make sure you read this in order as these three books are one story.
If you read Legal Affairs, you’ll know that Cal and Macy dislike each other tremendously based on their interactions. They each judge the other based on initial perceptions. You could feel that enemies to lovers, hate vibe in the first series and it was delicious. I’m a huge fan of enemies to lovers romances so I was very excited to read their story. It took me a year to actually read this after I read Legal Affairs and I have to admit, the Kindle Unlimited sale is the reason why. I can’t just buy every book I want to read lol I wish but I’m not that wealthy.
Right off the bat the couple hooks up. Their burning hatred towards each other boils over to an all-time high and things get ahem, “resolved” in a closet.
Macy is so straight forward, brave, and powerful like any Sawyer Bennett heroine. Sawyer is just hands down one of my favorite authors. how can one person write such diverse and fun books? I love her! Cal is nerdy, stuffy and follows the rules. They are such polar opposites but each are highly intelligent which makes for entertaining and surprising back and forth banter.
In the three books, you’re going to get enemies to lovers banter, hate sex, the couple quickly decides to give into this frenemies thing and of course, things take a turn leading to the dramatics. Cal quickly decides this brave confident woman must be protected. She’s going through a lot and Cal takes it all on for her. He is not a pushover and holds his own to this feisty heroine.
I loved their dynamics and love that this series is on Kindle Unlimited! I would read 100 more legal romances like this. I love enemies to lovers and legal romances.
Review by Jen Skewes
One of my favorite series by Sawyer Bennett is the Legal Affairs series. I fell in love with the characters including Cal. I honestly had no idea that Cal was getting his own book, but when I found out that he was I could not contain my excitement. I loved him, even though he betrayed Matt in a big way. I still saw him as the good guy who lost his friend and has carried around the guilt ever since. This is Cal and Macy’s story which I think is going to be one very interesting and very hot series.
Cal is a very successful lawyer and owns his own firm with his best friend Mac, who also happens to be married to his ex best friend Matt. Yes the one he betrayed. But they have all moved past that. Cal is looking for love. He wants what Mac and Matt have. He wants someone to share his future with.
Macy is Mac’s other best friend since they were young. Macy is the complete opposite of Cal in every way possible. She is like the ice queen. She doesn’t do relationships and is never with a man more than once. She is rich and beautiful but there is a lot more to Macy than anyone sees. We know that something has happened to her in her past that has caused her to be the way she is now. But we are still trying to figure her out. What happened to make her this way? She is obviously guarding her heart and using sex to numb her pain. But who or what has caused all of this pain that she tries so hard to hide?
Cal and Macy know each other because of Mac. But they are exactly the best of friends. When the two of them are in a room together you can tell that they are not fond of each other but at the same time you can feel the sexual tension between them and know that it is only a matter of time before these two just explode and give in. And boy do they give in. They have one very hot and very steamy moment together and while Macy is never with a man more than once, she makes the offer to Cal to call her again. The moment that they shared is something that neither one of them can forget. Cal is trying so hard to move on from it because he is looking for more than just hot sex. But Macy cannot stop thinking of Cal either and wants him again. When Macy finds out she is being sued and Cal agrees to help her what will happen between these two? Can they keep their relationship strictly professional? Will they give in the passion and be with each other again? Or will Cal be the one guy to peel back her layers and find out what is beneath it all? We will have to wait and see.
Sawyer Bennett has done it again with this series. She has completely captured me once again right from the stat. Cal and Macy together seem like a very unlikely pair but there is no denying the chemistry between the two of them. I am so excited to see where these two go. To find out what happened to Macy in her past, but most of all to see if these two get heir HEA together. This is the beginning of another fantastic series that is hot and sexy. Looking forward to the next installment
This is a spin off of Ms Bennett's Legal Affairs series, so if you have read that, you will have already have met Cal (but if you haven't, there is enough info that you won't feel like you are missing out)
This is s novella to start Cal and Macy's story, and boy what a start it is
"Saint" Cal and Macy Carrington are an explosion waiting to happen. Their bickering and sniping at each other is months of foreplay, and now they just need to play the main game.
Holy Hoteness Batman!!! That spark finally lights an inferno between them, and things are never going to be the same for either of them.
I loved these two together. Assumptions are made, words are spoken - though even though they are nasty things they say to each other, they are said with a good dose of humour too.
I really want, no need to know what happens with this pair, and even though yes, this does end on a cliffhanger, there is not long to wait until the next installment - which is a full length novel woohoo!
My first thought after finishing this novella is “Whoa!” I’m pretty sure this book has just about one of the sexiest scenes I’ve ever read. Whew.
We are familiar with the characters. Macy and Cal appear in the first Legal Affair serial. Macy is Mac’s best friend. She is rich and quirky and seemingly promiscuous. Cal is Matt Connover’s former best friend until Cal slept with Matt’s wife in a moment of drunken stupor. Since then, he and Mac have become close friends and business partners. Macy and Cal, however, interact like cats and dogs. They are constantly bickering and having harsh words with each other. But as they say, ”where there is smoke, there is fire.” That fire ignites in Macy’s kitchen pantry during Mac and Matt’s son’s first birthday. Oh, my.
Being a novella, it would be easy to assume that this is just one long sexual interlude. It isn’t. Leave it to Sawyer Bennett to write emotionally engaging erotica. Though it is a shorter story, I am already invested in the characters. I’m desperate to know more of what makes Macy tick. Why does she act that way? What happened to her in the past that makes her so seemingly vacant? We know where Cal stands. He’s a successful man who is looking for “the one.” He is so endearing. How will this story play out?
IN A NUTSHELL:
Sawyer Bennett gives us just enough to whet our appetites with a promise to give us a heck of a lot more. Frankly, I cannot wait.
Review
When I picked this book up and discovered that Cal and Macy were getting their own story I Squee'd with excitement, and when I started reading and Sawyer Bennett's writing shone through, it just got even better!!!
I love that Sawyer Bennett can so easily show how animosity can turn into so much more and that if two people give in to that burning emotion, they can create a chemistry that is so off the charts it burns the damn chart down!
Though it was only short (this is a serial after all), Bennett manages to get a whole story in there. We have their backgrounds and history as well as a clear story developing, all the while keeping you guessing as to what's going to come next. It is brilliant and the way a serial should be written. The characters are relatable and thoroughly endearing all the while carrying on their lives like they don't care what we think, and that is the true character of an author, where the characters take you where they need to rather than writing what you think should happen. It's all so natural and that shines through on the pages.
I admit that I couldn't wait for the release of the next book, even though it was only a couple of days that I had to wait, but to say that since reading her On The Rocks series, I have become a true Sawyer Bennett groupie!!!
Cal Carson and Macy Carrington are not friends; in fact, they mean nothing to each other. They're merely acquaintances due to their mutual friend, McKayla. When they are in one another's presence, they grate on each other's nerves and verbally spar like an old married couple who shouldn't be together anymore.
A large amount of apprehension surrounds Cal and Macy every time they're together, but there's also a significant amount of sexual tension just under the surface, and with each snide comment and glacial glare, their dance of foreplay is just getting started and when push comes to shove, their clashing is undoubtedly going to end with the removal of clothing and at least a few hate fueled fucks, but it will be interesting if it goes any further than that.
The way Sawyer Bennett presents Cal and Macy, it seems like these two couldn't be any more different -the equivalent to oil and water. What you see is what you get when it comes to Cal Carson, but that's definitely not the case with Macy, and I know that there's a reason for her idiosyncrasies and deviant impulses, and I'm anxious to find out what her secrets are and see how Cal might help her fight her demons.
Minik update 18/09/20
Comfort zone um bu kitap hatta genel olarak bu seri benim sanırım. Genel Legal Affairs serisini de güncellicem şimdi. Bi yandan duyurmak istemedim çok gizli kalsın sadece ben bilim istedim ama bi yandan da içimde tutamadım.
Ah Macy... Macy'cim... Macy'ciğimiz...
Süte batırılmış kurabiye gibi oluyorum bu serinin sonunda, her seferinde.
Alttaki yorumum hala günceldir. Siz okuyacaksanız bile yaymayın, ha okurken çok beklentiye de girmeyin. Benim kadar sevmeme ihtimaliniz yüksek çünkü.
---
Gerçekten bu kitap favorilerimden olabilir kimse bilmiyor genel olarak ve kimseye de özel olarak önermiyorum 😂 Sadece bana kalsın dedigim bir hikaye bu Cal ve Macy ninki.
Belki bazı yerlerde cok 12den vurduğu için belki ne zaman modum düşse okuduğum an mutlu olduğum için, bilmiyorum ama canım benim bu hikaye 😂
Bu hikayeden önce 3 kitaplık bir baska hikaye daha var aslında Mac ve Matt in hikayesi o da güzel ama bu 5 üzerinden 6 yıldız verdiğim bir hikaye.
Lütfen merak edip okusanız bile çok yaymayin malum popüler olan her kitabın rezil rüsva halini görür olduk piyasada. Benim yüreğim bu kitapların harcanmasını kaldırmaz. Şimdi bu kitabı tekrar okuyorum o yuzden buraya da yorum gibi düşüncelerimi girim dedim.
Another great addition to the Legal Affairs series. This one is about Cal and Macy. Cal works with Mac and Macy is her best friend. While Macy and Cal seem to clash at every meeting, they don’t see the sexual tension that others see between them. It happens at Mac and Matt’s son Arron’ birthday party. While Cal is thinking who would throw a one year old a birthday party with caviar and champagne, but who else but Macy Carrington. The one person who seems to want to flaunt her wealth. But Cal doesn't understand about Macy and maybe he will learn about what makes her tick. While Macy is still using “One Night Only” the dating service and Cal doesn't see why she doesn't do relationships. When she is being sued from someone from a past date through the service, Mac asked Cal to represent her. While Mac is a friend, Cal is not. But what about the time they spent in the pantry? Can Cal and Macy connect on a different level? Will Cal be able to resist her to represent her in court? I love this series and can’t wait for more.
Mars' Honest Review ARC provided in exchange for an honest review. Wow this book was amazing. I devoured it in less than an hour. Saint cal is my new book boyfriend, I absolutely love him. The way he carries himself, the way he does his job, how he treats woman and what his dreams and aspirations for the future are. I NEED a Saint Cal in my life! Furthermore his banter with Macy had me laughing, smiling and chuckling, Sawyer Bennett is able to portray a playful sexual tension between both characters that even as a reader you feel as if you're there witnessing their arguments. I am also extremely intrigued with Macy, she has a dark secret and a tough past but we're not given much information about it. I cannot wait to start book two and learn more about what motivates Macy as well as knowing if Saint Cal will finally break her walls. This was an amazing read!
OMG!!! When I saw that these two were getting a story, I couldn't wait to see what Sawyer would do...let me tell you this...I loved Mac and Matt from the previous series, but damn Cal and Macy have just topped them. ;)
When they say opposites attract, that is so true. Cal and Macy can't stand each other, but one day in a kitchen pantry changes everything !!
We know Macy has issues and I know the next 2 books we'll get more of her story. This is a short and hot read, I read it in one sitting. It was great having Matt and Mac again as they play a great supporting role in this story.
Looking forward to more Saint Calvin ;) you'll understand the name once you read it. .but is he really a saint though? ;)
Loved sawyer Bennett's Legal Affairs series, and this story in my opinion is equally as good, if not better. I loved Cal Carson from the get-go and I loved his POV very much. Macy is a little more complex and I'm intrigued as to what has happened in her past. Macy's POV is slightly different too, it's written as a diary entry, I love it. The chemistry between them is literally off the charts, and I just love the enemies to lovers theme. A shame it's so short, on the plus side books 2 and 3 are twice as long. Book 2 here I come.
I love this author! Her writing is amazing. I loved the Legal Affairs series, so I was curious about Cal's story.
I'm sorry to say this, but I couldn't feel the connection between Cal and Macy as much as I would have liked to. It was unbelievable for me how "obsessed" was Cal with Macy, and he acted like a lovesick puppy.
I loved the Matt appearances the most. I missed him.
It's not really a lawyer's romance. More like a story about two people who sleep together one, but hate each other. Oh, and he is a lawyer, and she does... who knows, but has more money than God. Not really interesting.
