When Olivia found out her mother had been diagnosed with cancer, she immediately moved to small-town Tamlin to help out. Who knew, though, that 'helping out' would mean trying to convince her mother that the cancer even existed, since despite all evidence, Jeannie refuses to believe it.
Desperate for more information so that she can find a way through her mother's stubbornness, Olivia goes out to dinner with Eric, the town's handsome doctor. Sparks fly, and the two can't keep their hands off one another.
But with Eric still working through the loss of his first wife, the town gossip who just won't give up in her quest to land Eric, and Olivia's preoccupation with her mother's illness, can they even get a relationship off the ground? Throw an unexpected pregnancy into the mix, and Olivia may have bitten off more than she could chew, when she moved to Tamlin!
Will the two manage to come together to build a future, or will they remain mired in what's come before?
Eric lost his wife two years ago to cancer and now he's raising a two year old. When Eric meets Olivia he likes her but, he's her mother's doctor and she has cancer. Can these two figure it out and work it out? Great read. This book includes five extra books. The first extra book is called Jacked with Luke and Emerson. The second extra book is called Priest with Jace and Daphne. The third extra book is called Breathless box set with Becky and Johnny. The fourth extra book is called Addicted with Nate and Abby. The last extra book is called Sexy Tattooist with Graham and Chloe.
I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book and will definitely recommend it.
It was unethical for Eric to have the feelings he has for Emily be cause he was her mother's doctor. He promised to never love no other woman after his wife died. But what can you do when your heart is forcing you to fall in love again. You take that chance. Of course it's not going to be easy for him when there's a Georgia in the way of your happiness.
On a roll with these books. Interesting premise. I am still searching for that special well written super secret or surprise baby book. Not found it yet.
This story was actually ok. It had some interesting elements. However the writer needs a better editor as there were certain phrases she kept using which were just weird.
Initially, the Hero refers to his dead wife his “former wife”. Should have referred to her as his “late wife”. And the during this own POV scenes he would constantly refer to his own child as “the girl”. It was jarring and I kept getting pulled from the story.
This is such a great book. A single dad doc finds himself falling for a young woman who runs a daycare. A great story about how love and friendship are found in unexpected circumstances.
Each of these books bring something that leave you reading each page until you're finished. Chloe meets graham and knows things need to change but sometimes change is hard work on everyone.
