It all started with a night of drinking and a startling admission.
Rick could have any girl he wanted, and he frequently did. So imagine my surprise when he admits the girl he wants the most is my Chelsey!
Beautiful Chelsey. The love of my life. The woman I'm going to marry.
So why can't I get the thought of her straying out of my mind now that Rick brought it up? Why did I have to go and tell Chelsey about it? Why am I going along with it when she says she wants to tease the infamous player in our friend group?
Only Rick has other plans. We were going to tease him, but he brought a hot young friend along and it looks like I'm about to discover that three's a good time, but four's a crowd...
Although I enjoyed the story (and usually do with Lexi Archer's writing), I felt that we were in the guy's head too much. Too much thinking about what was happening and the why's instead of focusing on the action in front of him.
Lexi is such a good writer I really hate to give just the one star but I had so many issues with this story. Firstly , and this is on Lexi, ninety eight percent of the words were completely in the head of the cuckold fiancée. Almost no interaction between any of the other characters. And then the author started the story off by portraying his future wife as a timid little geek but then with a huge plot gap she transformed into an uncaring slut. The story ended with no communication or resolution to her actions. I’m sorry Lexi but this story was completely unsatisfying. Also, I discovered I don’t care for the fiancé couple stories. That was enough for me.
