Jerk. Angry bastard. That’s how people describe me. Everyone in this small town knows to steer clear of me. Thing is, they don’t know me. They don’t know what I’ve seen, what I’ve done. So I’ve learned to put up a shield to protect both me and them. When everything gets to be too much, I escape on my beloved Harley, the wind in my face calming my soul. But my new neighbor hasn’t gotten the memo about me. She’s a walking, talking firecracker, and I can’t help but imagine what that feistiness is like in bed. She’s full of dangerous curves and a smart mouth that draws me to her like nothing I’ve ever felt. We couldn’t be more different. I’m a grumpy asshole and she’s a sassy princess, but somehow, she sees through me and our spark is undeniable. The question is… will we light up like pretty fireworks or a devastating explosion? I should warn her that’s she’s not safe with me, but I’m tempted to take her for a ride. A ride neither of us will ever forget. Motorhead is a full-length Romance with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger! **Each book in the Irresistible Bachelors features a different couple with their own Happily Ever After. You can read them in any order but there are some interconnecting side characters.

I think this was my favorite book by Lauren Landish yet because I loved Motorhead so much!! Evan really was a jerk. An angry man, embittered by war, suffering from survivor’s guilt. He’s completely closed himself off from everyone, including his loving brother. No one understands him. No one can handle him. When things get to be too much, he just hops on his Harley to clear his mind. Hey, who the heck is that fine piece of sass moving in across the street? I want her but I don’t want to destroy her. Must stay away.

McKayla moves to town with her BFF Brad to open up their own salon. Taking their Hollywood skills with them, they’re embarking on a new adventure and hoping it will pay off in the town their falling in love with. But oh ho ho… who’s that scrumptious piece of man meat over there across the street? Why it’s the most brooding and temperamental man she’s ever met. He thinks he can put her off? He has no clue what she has in store for him because this girl doesn’t give up on what she wants most. And she definitely wants Evan.

Loved these characters. While McKayla was light and easy to understand, Evan was a beast in need of conquering. His demons were fierce and I believe the author did an amazing job of illustrating them as realistically as possible. It wasn’t hard to get inside his head. It also wasn’t pretty. I loved the push and pull between these two and I really enjoyed watching Evan succumb to the awesomeness of McKayla’s character. These two couldn’t be more different, but they most definitely worked. With a bit of suspense thrown in, this story turned out to be quite the entertaining read. I wonder if Evan’s brother, TJ, will be getting his own book too?

I liked Motorhead a lot. Motorhead is Evan and McKayla’s love story. I adored McKayla in Matchmaker and I was happy when I discovered that she would get her own story. She was funny, feisty and caring in Matchmaker. I also loved the banter between her and Brad, but there wasn’t much of that in this book and I missed that a little bit.

McKayla and Brad wanted a change and they decided to start a business in a small town. McKayla will be the hairdresser and Brad will do people’s make up. They work hard to make sure that everything is perfect for the grand opening. Brad wants to hang some pictures of them in their shop. McKayla wants a picture of her and this cool motor that is parked across the street, only the owner of that motor, Evan, isn’t too happy about this.

Evan is a car mechanic in the shop that he owns with his brother and that shop is right across McKayla’s workplace. His motor is precious to him and he loves to ride it when he needs an escape. The first meeting between Evan and McKayla may not have been the most pleasant one, but McKayla is attracted to Evan. McKayla visits Evan at his work and tries to be friends with him, but Evan keeps pushing her away. Evan does feel something for McKayla, but he’s convinced that she deserves better than him. McKayla doesn’t give up easily and Evan can only fight against his feelings for so long.

McKayla and Evan are great characters and I loved them together. McKayla was just like I remembered her. She’s funny, feisty, caring, passionate, determined and talented. She hopes that her shop will be a big success and works hard for it. When she wants something, she goes for it.

Evan is closed off, silent and cold, but he slowly changes. He can’t let go of some things and they affect his life. He will open up to McKayla. When some strange things happen to McKayla, Evan is there to help her. He will be very protective over her.

28% and I give up.
It's written kinda funny, but soooo repetitive, my mind hurts from going over the same things over and over again.
Maybe I'll come back to it someday.

4 stars!

Evan and McKayla are so cute. McKayla is a hairstylist that talks without filter and Evan is a mechanic that is grumpy 24/7 (and a hot biker). McKayla just can't seem to stay away from Evan's Harley (or rather Evan himself) despite him being an asshole. it's a wonderful story on learning to forgive. perfect mix of sass, humour and love. hot sex included as well ❗ ❗
highly recommended!

OK, so, I love the cover. I love the title. I love it allllll.

Evan is gruff and grumpy and hot. McKayla likes a bad boy that is good for her, so they are a perfect fit. He would only break for a woman strong enough to handle him, anyways.

I've been so excited for this book and wanting to see what kind of man could catch McKayla. She was mentioned in a previous book and I love her personality and style. There are other characters mentioned throughout that are also from previous stories, so that was cool.

I really liked seeing Evan come back to life. He's gone through serious stuff, and it hasn't been easy to pull out of that, was heartwarming to watch.

Oh, and there's a creepy weirdo in this book too, so watch out for that. OK, I'm ready for the next book, is it done yet? I don't wanna wait!

PS I received an arc of this bc I'm a lucky duck.

I read this and found it lovely but also extremely predictable. Sassy heroine, Asshole hero. Inaccessible hero and overly willing heroine... Which isn't usually my cuppa. Something about a chick ready to drop her pants the moment the asshole says "hey" Isn't really my thang. Don't get me wrong. I'm all good with women going for what they want, but when the hero is trying to establish space because he knows he's fucked up, I think the good route to go would be friendship before throwing the proverbial panties to the wind. We can gripe all we want about books where the heroines are mistreated but sometime authors devise heroines that are COMPLETELY asking for it.

You know exactly what's going to happen from the moment the book begins. No twists and no long getting to know each other period.

Well written but already forgotten.

McKayla and Brad move to a small town to start their new Salon and McKayla meets Evan a mechanic with PTSD from his time serving. Most people stay clear of the surly asshole but McKayla is drawn to him. Although at first, Evan is determined to stay away from her he can't seem to do it and, soon the two of them hook up. Amidst this time Evan is hot and cold toward her until it appears she may be in danger.
This book was good I was glad that McKayla didn't give up on Evan even though he was hot and cold toward her at times. She pushed through his walls and discovered what made him act that way toward her. Their chemistry was hot, especially during the midnight rides together.

Motorhead by Lauren Landish a five-star read that will rev your engine. I adore Lauren Landish and this is my favourite read of hers, I love a monkey and this grease monkey may just be my favourite and his name is Evan Hardwick. The problems arise when his new neighbours do, as his new neighbours are running the Triple B Salon with McKayla and Brad who have decided to bring some Hollywood glamour to small town life. They are worlds apart but sometimes opposites attract, and world can be rocked when that happens. This is a great read, and you will love it.

I freaking love this story. McKayla and Brad are back and better than ever. Mckayla is one girl that doesn't care whom she pisses off while she is getting what she wants, and what she wants is take a picture on the motorcycle that is sitting across the street. So when she gets caught on that cycle by the owner and he is not too happy well words are said.
Evan is a man that is just trying to have some peace and quiet. He is tired of the war that is going on in his head and now he has a loud woman across the street that won't leave him alone in his dreams.
These two are hot together and I love it. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Motorhead by Lauren Landish is a steamy, sexy, fun , humorous romantic read. McKayla is a wild hair dresser that is well known for doing hair in Ms. Landish’s book Matchmaker; in Motorhead, she and her friend Brad were the hair and makeup duo of the Hollywood scene but things became just old and tiring so they packed up and moved to Great Falls to open a salon. They open their salon across the street from a garage which is where we meet Evan and his brother.
Things were going great until McKayla put her hands on Evan’s motorcycle. Sparks and Chemistry go off when Evan confronts her, yelling at her. Evan is a recent military vet who has some problems coping being back home and he is all grumpy and sour but soon McKayla has him coming out of his doldrums with her sassy behavior. She doesn’t take his gruff but she looks further beneath his attitude and sees the real man, the good man. The passion and heat between them will set your kindle on fire. Things aren’t cut and dry, there is a good plot and there is some twists in the story which makes for a great plot. Loved the main characters, as well as secondary characters. Look forward to the next book in the series.

What's not to love about this book? It's got an ex-military bad boy mechanic, a feisty, tells-it-like-it is salon owner, undeniable chemistry, a creepy admirer, toe-curling sex, and a whole lot more.

Okay. I hate this book’s cover, and the blurb. I do not need to see some ripped and tatted torso on the cover of every book I read. It really cheapens the book, IMO. I’m not saying that it’s not nice to look at, but it really looks cheesy, and does not do the book ANY justice. Evan has PTSD, whether diagnosed or not. McKayla has just moved to his town to open a salon, trying to escape the Hollywood life with her best friend. Evan is anything but welcoming, but McKayla is not the kind of woman to be deterred from something that she wants, and she goes after Evan. It’s slow going. Meanwhile, city council douche Jaxson wants McKayla, and makes it super creepy obvious. She is not interested, but that doesn’t seem to stop him. The difference is, McKayla is not overly pushy, and Jaxson is. This book had a surprisingly emotional core (not that you’d know it from that awful cover), and I enjoyed it, so I guess I’m glad this was one of the three books in the freebie I ordered. Nice read.

Come on!
Do you want to know what I just read? Oh man! A suck me in story about a gruff and grumble sexy beast Veteran, ( Evan ) who's life consists of working as a mechanic in his brothers auto repair shop, avoiding everyone in town and dealing ( sort of ) with the demons that plague him from Overseas. That is until Mckayla takes the no prisoners- hairdresser extraordinaire, and Brad with the magic makeup touch and extra B's he takes very seriously come into town. ( LOVE these two! ) Bringing some fierce strength and a smile to the people they meet when they open The Triple B's Salon across the street from the Auto Repair shop.
I, just- seriously, THIS BOOK. GAH
I could have read about these crazy, yet relatable characters all day!
I loved Evan; I am such a sucker for the gruff men with the broken souls- * long drawn out sigh for effect * can you be jealous of a fictional character?!! Mckayla, she is what my spirit animal would be IF I had the nerve to do everything that she does. I need more books with female leads like her! Her give no f@@ks, take charge go after what she wants attitude, live life to the fullest has to be my favorite out of them all!
Phew, Lauren Landish waved her magic wand over this one! It was the perfect mix of humor, eat your heart out love, heart squeezing angst, sass to put you in your place, (YAS!) and some animal hotness that cannot be forgotten.
I don't know how it is possible, but I've become even more invested in the fictitious lives and worlds Ms. Landish has created; these ever-evolving storylines just keep getting better! MotorHead is my new favorite.
This free-flowing, well-developed vacation, is one you will love from beginning to end!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Mckayla and Brad were the hair and makeup duo of the Hollywood scene, but that got old fast. After working for the reality show Matchmaker, their perception of the industry became skewed. Now they are in Great Falls opening their own salon, Triple B, directly across the street from Evan and his brother TJ's garage. Evan has been having a rough time since his last tour in the army. He partnered with his brother in business to help pass the time and, hopefully, get his head straight. Then he meets Mckayla. All hell breaks loose and Evan, being such a charmer....not, ends up at odds with his new neighbor. Not only do they start off on the wrong foot, but they are both instantly and wildly attracted to each other. Mckayla has an unwanted admirer and while she's fighting off unwanted advances, she's also pining for the sexy, hot biker who runs the garage across the street. Mckayla knows Evan is trouble, she just doesn't realize how much trouble he really is. Evan came home from his last tour broken. He's damaged. He wants Mckayla but he knows in the end, he will only hurt her. He's a lot to take on. Mckayla is persistent, she's not about to give up on him. But her persistency will only work if Evan doesn't give up on himself first.
LAUREN WRITES ONE SEXY, HOT BIKER ! ! ! I REALLY LOVED THIS BOOK ! THE STORY WAS WELL WRITTEN AND THE CHARACTERS RELATABLE ! UNDENIABLE CHEMISTRY WITH SEX SCENES THAT WERE MIND BLOWING AND INTOXICATING ! PURE UNADULTERATED PASSION WITH INTENSE CRAVING ! A DEFINITE MUST READ ! ! !

This book gives us McKayla who was the crazy hair dresser in Matchmaker and now her and her cohort Brad have left LA and moved to a quiet town to open their own salon. McKayla is as spunky as ever and her and Brad decide to take some hot pictures to put up in their shop so low and behold there is an automotive shop across the street from them and guess what's parked out front. A beautiful Harley. They decide to take some pics in front of the bike and they get a little carried away and she starts touching the bike, that's when Evan appears. It's his bike. Evan is a vet that served several tours overseas and he has lots of demons he is trying to deal with. He works with his brother TJ at this shop and basically avoids everyone else. McKayla doesn't take well to being yelled at so she gives it back as good as she gets which intrigues Evan. No more info for you. You will have to read to find out all the ins and outs of this fantastic book. So many facets with these characters and the humor is spot on. I love all of Lauren's books but this is probably one of my favorites. I was given a copy of the ARC to voluntarily read and give my honest opinion. I LOVED this book and HIGHLY recommend it. It's so well written, so funny, sexy, and full of emotions. Great book.

McKayla is a wild hair dresser that has worked on celebrity hairs all over the world. Her and her partner in crime Brad leave LA to open their own business. Everything is going smoothly until she dares touch her neighbor's motorcycle. Sparks fly when he confronts her and continue throughout the story. Evan is the neighbor that didn't want his bike touch and he runs a mechanic shop across the street from McKayla's shop. Evan doesn't think he is right for her and tries to steer clear but McKayla isn't having none of that. Then things get scary creepy for McKayla when she finds out someone is stalking her. On top of that a local councilman doesn't want to take no for an answer in his pursuit of her. Will Evan and McKayla find their way to each other? Who is stalking her?

This book has a little bit of everything for a reader to enjoy. Hot attraction followed by steamy hot sex, some drama and some humorous parts that you'll die laughing at. Every time I read one of Lauren Landish books I can picture the scene in my mind from the descriptive way she has with her words. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did and if you do then you definitely should read some of her others books. I can't wait for her next book.

I loved the latest from Lauren Landish! When McKayla and her partner Brad decide to move to the small town of Great Falls and open their salon together she would have never expected to find the man who would change everything right across the street. Evan is the growly, grumpy bad boy who co-owns the mechanic shop across from their new salon and their first meeting has him yelling at her and her touching his motorcycle without permission. Evan's past service in the military and the things he has seen make him a surly man to be around, but McKayla will push through all his layers and accept him as he is, which is a first for him. Evan for all his grumpy ways will be there when she needs him the most. I loved McKayla and Evan and loved that Brad was back in this book. AMAZING!!!
Seriously you can’t go wrong with a Lauren Landish book to begin with but she really outdid herself with this one! By far my favorite in the Irresistible Bachelor series, and that’s saying a lot since I’ve loved all of them!
Evan is ex military suffering from PTSD who works at his brothers mechanic shop.
McKayla just opened a salon across the road from the mechanic shop.
She sees a Harley sitting out front and decides it’ll make for a great photo shoot. What she didn’t expect was a gruff and grumpy man to yell at her for touching his bike.
I can’t think of one thing, except maybe that their story should just continue on and not end 😜, that needs to be changed or that I found wasn’t amazing.
Definitely her best work!

Motorhead by Lauren Landish is a full-length, standalone, romance novel.
Meet Evan. He´s ex-military and works as mechanic in his brother´s repair shop. He´s moody, grumpy, battered and a loner. Until new neighbors open their business across the street.
McKayla and her partner Brad are the new owners of Triple B Salon. They work hard and both like the sight of the hunk across from them very much.
Motorhead is a great story. I started reading and was sucked in. I love the writing, the story and the characters. I give 5 stars, thank you, Lauren Landish !

4*
Mckayla & Brad have at last opened their own makeup & hair salon after years of working the fashion & high society trade.
Evan is back after his stint in the military to work with his brother in their garage he’s still feeling the guilt of loosing his team.
They meet when Mckayla convinces Brad to take some photos of her using Evans bike as a prop. Evans not impressed who does this princess think she is? Has he met his match.

There is Evan, who is ex-military, moody, a grump but a seriously hunky bad boy. Then there is McKayla who with her partner Brad, open up the Triple B Salon on the same street where Evan works as a mechanic. This is a great story with tons of emotion and you start reading and want to find out what happens. Evan has gone through so much, can McKayla and he work out? Great characters and storyline. I enjoyed it and hope you do as well.

WOW Lauren Landish your books just keep getting better and better. I loved the last one but this one I loved even more and I honestly didn't think that was possible. Evan is just so hot with his gruffy, grumpy personality. McKayla is just so sweet and funny. You know what they say opposites attract and boy did Evan and McKayla attract each other. I just loved them together. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Pick it up because you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

Motorhead is the latest book by Lauren Landish and continues the trend we see of the stories carrying on the story of a character that has appeared in previous book(s). I absolutely loved Mckayla's story and Evan was just absolutely delicious in his raw animal attraction! This story had a mix of a bit of everything, great dialogue, humor and some suspense also included - it wasn't overdone, but absolutely perfect. The main characters were finely done and the supporting cast of characters were expertly included to add further depth to the story. Loved every page of it!

This book was so frickin' awesome. McKayla and Evan were each other's match in every way that they will leave you swooning in the end.

I love the series (each can be read as a standalone) but my favorite was Mr. Fiance until I read Motorhead. The pace was great, the heat was steamy, there was some action/drama and a visit from Ivy Jo never hurts. I loved Brad's title in the epilogue - so him!
