Really does include quite a few interesting mysteries from history, but what keeps it from being higher for me is the basic structure: at the beginning of each section/mystery, Price includes a “clue” to the possible answer to the mystery (which is a good idea), the “main players”, also good, but then includes “a verdict”…before you have read the 3-5 pages on the “mystery”. This was frustrating, as Price doesn’t give the reader an opportunity to come to his or her own conclusions. This drove me a tad nuts.

Very good book that gives you a couple of pages of information about several mysteries. What I particularly liked about book is that the mysteries it addresses are some outside the usual path that most books talk about. Yes you do get some of your old favorites like Bigfoot, Roswell, and King Arthur. I only give four stars because book does not go into great depth on each subject but just provides a four page summary on the subjects.

2.5 stars rounded up to 3.

This book touches on a lot of interesting mysteries, but doesn’t go too deep into any of them. (Also, there’s only so many cases in a row you can read that end along the lines of “nobody knows...”)

A book of mysteries written by a skeptic... Neat.
