This book takes me back to my growing up on an Iowa farm and my love of old 2 cylinder John Deere tractors and the many hours spent on them.

One of my biggest regrets: I lent this book to someone years ago and it never came back. I still remember the wonderful pictures of the early John Deere tractors hard at work. Fascinating descriptions of the development and engineering of these machines, too. Hope I can find another copy some day.
