Good Story, pretty bad writing.
Having read a few of A J Newman’s other books, I knew that he was a competent writer: very good with a story, but I knew nothing of Mack Norman. The story line on this book was really good, too, and great fun. However, I had to copy edit as I read! It was so full of grammar mistakes, homonyms, typos, subject/verb agreement errors and the like that I could barely read the thing. The only reason that I gave it three stars instead of one is because it WAS so entertaining. If you have a Kindle Unlimited account and can bear the assault for a couple of hours of giggles and a free read, have fun. Otherwise, don’t bother.
