Lost at sea the dead returned to torment the living.

Forced by a freak storm, four friends take refuge on a haunted ghost ship.

Their guide Professor Bunting believed the Earth was flat and was hoping to convert them to his way of thinking.

The mysterious ship seemed to be travelling towards an island, an island invisible on all navigational charts, an island that didn't exist.

Petrified they flee the ghost ship and find themselves drawn into a nightmare of Goblins, evil Alien Choolies, Oogaloos who Guard the Challis of Truth, and the sinister Queen Bebo.

The madness escalates to a final showdown as events unfold and the world changes forever

These is certainly an entertaining ride. The author has an incredible imagination. The ghost ship is scary in places and certainly worthy of a mention. The story continues and whilst different to the first half of the book I found I had to read on until the end. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who fancies a refreshing change to the norm.

I've wanted to enjoy this book, I really have. The story was good, it did remind me partially a little of Ghost Ship the way it did others, at least before the island. All in all, the story itself was good.

The issue I have comes from the fact that the book could do with a good beta-read, my issues under a spoiler to keep them from being all over the place...

Everything else, the ending, the characters, all of it, I would have read more, if not for the above-mentioned problems.

A day out on a boat to entertain some old man's far out theories that the Earth may just be flat after all ends up turning into a nightmarish adventure upon the Princess May a ghost ship that went down in the Bermuda Triangle in the 50's. What better way to spend your holiday, right? If only the ghosts would stop trying to kill them....

Join Robbie, Cassie, Brett, and Jade as they face the professors theory, a ghost ship, and a mystery island. Who knows what will be in store?

I do not care what you are reading or how good it is stop reading it and start reading this. It is amazing. At some points in it I thought that the author had some bad mushrooms or something but all in all without that island the book would have been missing a lot and you would have been left with a big question. Is the Earth really flat? Now we know and you will too if you choose to join this group on their adventures into the Bermuda Triangle. If you have ever seen ghost ship this is better than it.

Ark of Hope is a cross between a Stephen King novel and a Terry Pratchett book. Almost a book of two halves.
Professor Bunting believes the earth is flat. Mankind decided the earth must be round many centuries ago even before rockets were invented. What if everything we know is a lie?
A mysterious ghost ship. Unfortunately no one has told the occupants they are dead.
The adventure continues when the ship reaches a strange island. Now things get really bizarre and you wish you'd never had those mushrooms for tea.

This was a kooky book!

There was this element of ghost ships I have always loved and it did well on the creep factor. I feel it needs a good edit though, with perhaps some beta reading to help tighten a few scenes. But overall the story was strange with great imagery.
