Will Sakshi marry Jai? Will Jai become an IPS officer? Will Sakshi's family reunite and have a happy life? lies the suspense of the story.
About the book:
The love between Jai and Sakshi were pure and filled with innocence. You can find a depth in their love and succinct about how they cared and the value they had over each other. The pace of the story is intact. I loved the way, the author narrated her story, you can feel your presence where we actually travel to the places narrated by the author.
Jai's friend Vicky's character faded away in the flow of the story, Anaida, Sakshi's mom presence was too little but her character had a emotional touch at the end. The overall story was good. I loved Jai's character more, not because he is the hero of the story but his love towards Sakshi was endless.
I would like to rate 4/5 for this exemplary novel and recommend for readers who love romance genre.
Blurb- Its the story of Sakshi and Jai. Sakshi was a big fan of Ranbeer Kapoor and for watching his movie, he stood in a long queue but couldn’t get a ticket. Meanwhile she saw Jai. He has an extra ticket that he gave to Sakshi but during the whole movie he couldn’t ask for name or number of her. But it was love at first sight for jay. Now difficult task started here. How to find that girl? Jai tried to find her bar and boutiques. Read further to if Jai will be able to find Sakshi and if yes then how? Will their love will sustain on the path of destiny? Read the book for further story.
My take- I can’t resist saying that its such a lovely cover. Nice writing style. Simple and easily understandable. Good use if vocabulary. Nice romantic plot and described every details and incidents elaborately. I was expecting more twists and turns in the story that’s why I deduced one star. Overall must read for romance lovers!!

The language of the book is very simple and lucid. The book has a poetic touch to it. It also has a few songs. The author's attempt to describe the scenic beauty and the nature throughout the story was what I loved the most. 📖📖📖📖 Overall the message that the author wanted to convey through the story was very nice. "Career is an important aspect of our lives. But don't confuse having a career with having a life. If you fail in your work you don't fail in life, but if you fail in your relationships, you do fail in life. Career can give you happiness, but at end of the day you need a person to come back to and share that happiness with."
Starting from the cover of the book is beautiful but with some creativity, it could have been better. The title of the book “Tinkling of the Bell Before it Rings ” is intriguing from other usual romantic fictions, it indeed developed the curiosity within me to know what author meant by it. The reader shall pick the book up just after looking at it once, the blurb as compared to the story gives an apt just of the entire story.
This is the story of main protagonist Jai and Sakshi who accidentally met at Cinemax and for Jai it's was a love at first sight. Soon they become friends and their friendship blossoming into a love affair. Jai is an aspiring police officer on the other hand, Sakshi want's to become a leading fashion designer. Will their choice of different career makes trouble in their new fond love? To know more about Sakshi and Jai grab the book.
The story is fast paced and plot of the book is simple with pure love and family bonding. The story flows like a movie and takes the readers on a journey to Paris with love on air, Bollywood type story with songs and dances with a happy ending, I think it's better for a Bollywood blockbuster than a novel.
Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. The characters are well-developed and one can easily relate them. The narration is simple and engaging but some points, it seems dragged and stretched a bit too far. The book is free from any grammatical errors and has been perfectly edited.
I recommend this book to the readers who are seeking for a quick read or a light-hearted romantic novel. The book is simple, but it touches your heart.

The plot is about Sakshi and Jai, meeting in a movie theatre and gradually falling in love. But their journey starts when come acrosse each other's career. Sakshi is a designer and she and jai are portrayed as a cute couple. I found the book to be more of a bollywood movie because of the narration. The conversations are like dialogues of a movie at some places. Also, the grammer at some places was wrong. Referring to a person in first person and referring to the same person in third person in a same line. These minute things really leads to confusion at certain places. To talk about the plot, it was quite predictable.
The cover of the book is beautiful and attractive. The pink and blue touch & the rising Sun ⛅ makes it an ethereal spectacle amongst my other books in my book stack. It’s story of an IITian boy Jai who’s aspiring to be an IPS and Sakshi an aspiring fashion designer. The meet accidentally at a movie theatre where she had come to see Rockstar on a Sunday morning carefully enough to not bump into any of her committed friends. Jai had come to buy tickets for himself and his friend but later realises that his toad like friend wouldn’t come and he has to watch the movie with his beautiful Swan as she hadn’t got any ticket due to the rush and Housefullness of the movie theatre and later fate had decided it to be such that she has to buy the ticket from Jai itself. Without watching the movie Jai continuously watches Sakshi as her movements, eyes and scent are more appealing than the movie itself which later takes Jai to transfer the whole day. Love has it’s way and they meet after some genuine efforts put in by him to find the fashion designer Sakshi was working with. In a movement of not having work and preparing for his IPS examination decides to work with Sakshi and they go for several fashion shows including one in Europe which is pretty successful. The bells in their heart starts drinking for Each Other while working but have to take different parts as one wants to be a leading designer of the world and the other wants to be a good IPS officer.
The language of the book is pretty lucid but is written in an impressive tone not making the book boring or monotonous at any point of time. It is clear that it is a romantic novel where the characters were well explained with the knowledge of fashion playing a very huge roll with intricate details mentioned. The author has tried to implement a poetic notion throughout the book by involving a few songs which sometimes makes the base very slow especially for me. The Paris fashion walk has taken up a lot of space in the entire plot but the ending of which was very fast and not well explained. Despite the author explaining the smallest of expressions and reactions very well she was unable to explain the aspects of the the extra characters in the story for example Vicky Jai’s friend faded soon after and was never heard of again in the story, Sakshi’s mother and what relation did she have with the bell was not properly elaborated and her father too. The story seemed more like a typical Bollywood movie and it can easily be made into one and will be successful too. The first few chapters especially the first one where Sakshi and her appearances along with her choice of not watching a Rockstar movie in other places but PVR so that she does not bump into any of her committed friends is well explained but as the story and folds itself there are some loose ends which could have been tied.
Overall a light read and can be recommended to anyone who is new to reading English books and loves romantic books.
'I don't feel I am coming to this house for the first time. This is real home, life lives here'
This story revolves around our two main characters Jai and Sakshi, who meet each other by coincidence, and then the story develops as their paths continue to cross resulting in them figuring out their dreams and feelings.
The first thing i really loved about this book was the way the relationship was portrayed between Jai and his family. Few scenes involving his mother and father were really cute! It was really a healthy bond which can make anyone jealous. I really loved that about this book. The second thing was the contrast between Jai's family and Sakshi's family. It is a known concept but was handled really good.
The meeting of Jai and Sakshi was a simple setup and i really liked that. But while the book progressed, the conversations between them felt too filmy and it was quite a let down. It would have been better if they didn't include the names of the character in every sentence. The exchange of feelings in the form of songs were really cute. It actually removed some of the awkward conversations that would have happened otherwise! Since it was in Hindi(with translated short verse in English), the translation didn't do justice to the actual meaning of the lines they were singing. Also in some places it felt very cheesy that it left me wondering 'If someone says that in real life, it would be too weird to even reply!'
While addressing Sakshi's father, in someplaces they used his first name and in the next line they used his last name. It was confusing at first and needed sometime to get used to. Also when i read the blurb of the book, i thought it would deal with their conflicting emotions trying to pick each other over their dreams. But I felt the book actually never gave me the feeling of the 'heartbreak of being apart' part, and it ended rather quickly! It would have been even better if it was explained a little more.
Sakshi bonding with Jai's family, the trust Jai and Sakshi had on each other and the cute moments they shared when they were travelling together made it a really fluffy and fun romantic read! Though a little less of them would have been nice to read. Being a fan of thriller/Horror, i found the cute moments dragged on before the next plot happened. Plus i felt the editing/formation of sentences could have been done a little better(It was simple, yet lacked power in places).
If you are looking for a Bollywood film type romantic adventure that includes family love, songs, self discovery and cheesy dialogues, then I definitely recommend this book to you! Without a doubt, it was a refreshing read for me.
This is a short and cute story about love. The basis of the story is dreams filled with love.
This is the story of two young people starting from a movie ticket and leading to the urge to hold each other in a long hug being miles apart.
Warmth of the love seeps through the pages, out into the world and colors it in all bright colors. The songs, the thoughts, the desires, the love makes ones lips to be tugged upward by the corners.
There are no complications in the story. It is simple and pure love story without any misunderstandings and love triangles. It is totally old school and faerie like. It sometimes felt too good to be true. Not all love stories are as beautiful as Jai and Sakshi’s.
The writing style is kind of overlapped. The thoughts and events came and went by without warnings. Although it created good effects at some places but was very confusing at many times.
The characters were too perfect and flawless. The love too pure and the story too unreal; this rarely happens in real life. Reality demands a bit depth and weight: this is a light and warm story of your dreams.
The details about the dresses and the shows showed us the creativity of the character. The fabulous scenes, the events and the details point out towards the creativity of author. The small things that gave pleasure were to be relished and remembered in a relationship.
The story also focuses on the cons of having a working mother away from home and even country. Not only mother but having either of the parents away from us affects the person’s mind to a deeper level. The loneliness due to the distance between mother and child makes its place deep down within one’s mind.
The beauty of several tourist spots of Europe has been discussed in details and you may feel an urge to be pulled away into those memory lanes. The unity, love and affection of family members and the bonding it provides can also be seen and felt through those words.
Apart from the love birds, the story focuses on the importance and necessity of having a bonded family not just by hearts but by togetherness.
This is a light and warm read just for the sake of reading. The scenes are unrealistic and if you are realistic reader, then you may cringe at several places. It is kind of cute yet unrealistic story.
Note: This copy was given to me by @sumith_john and the publishers for honest review. All the views above are my own and honest.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
As an avid reader and someone who appreciates new authors coming out every day, Tinkling of the Bell was a book that didn't particularly set nicely with me. If you ask me to, I can well summarize it in one line: "If you like how a girl looks, then it's okay for you to stalk her." Sounds crappy, doesn't it? Okay, let me try something else. "If a boy makes advances at you during the work and then you find out he's there after stalking you, it's okay to not be crept out by him." Okay fine, another one. This one is definitely better. Here it goes: "Between love and name, who do you choose?" Well, this one does make sense, but the other two are more of what this book is about.
I really hate trashing a novel but I was trying really hard to find one—just one—thing about it that I loved and I came up blank. Believe me, it is sometimes so frustrating to take a book upon someone's recommendation only to find that it is like this. I spent 5 hours reading it and I couldn't have regretted them more! I could have done so much in those 5 hours, e.g. read a book that made me happy. But then, that's the thing about me. I can just not leave a book pending. *slams forehead in frustration* It's as if I want to read it so that I can find something really good about it. When that doesn't happen, well...
Anyway, not to trash any book or anything but um, here's what I thought of it:
1. The plot sounded interesting considering it was to understand that love and family is a lot more important than career and ambition. However, the way the book went about making that clear was not just a lot cliched but also too boring. 2. The story, as a whole, is way too predictable. It's one of happy ending and is just like one of those "love-at-first sight" things. Should I summarize to you the first few chapters? A sample is always available on Amazon as well, so I guess I can. Okay, here we go: boy goes to movies and is ditched by a friend when he has already bought the ticket. The girl approaches him, upon finding out that he has an extra. They sit together during the movie where he cannot stop thinking about her while she enjoys the movie. He wants to hold her hand and blah blah blah... Suddenly, her phone rings but in trying to answer the call, she drops it on the floor. The boy picks it up for her and memorizes the number that called her. Later, he calls the exact same number asking for her. When it's of a boutique and they do not agree, he joins the boutique as an employer just to find out who she is. Creepy yet? Well, I certainly found it to be. 3. The characters in this book were a little too mainstream, a lot less relatable and barely two-dimensional. I couldn't really relate to any of them. 4. There's barely anything exciting happening. It's the old boy meets girl story that we have all seen in our neighbourhood and know that it is nothing more than that. Except maybe Sakshi's sudden need to focus on her career than her boyfriend, I don't remember the plot having anything exceptional. 5. The romance in the book seems a lot forced and a lot less natural. It's all two-dimensional, really! 6. The story is too slow in pace and I wouldn't recommend it to any thriller fans. The language used is simple and lucid. If you want to read a book with simple language, only then should you try it out. (Remember what I said in the previous points!)
All in all, I didn't really like this book. The author's writing didn't intrigue me and it appeared to me as a waste of time. Hence, I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone but if you're interested in reading a book that has no special plot, whatsoever, you can give it a read.
"Love is something you cannot explain to people about the way you feel for the person, but you know it, that its love..."
The story is of Jai and Sakshi, who are passionate about their dreams. Jai, an upcoming IPS officer and Sakshi, a Fashion Designer. Jai and Sakshi met at a movie theatre and Jai instantly feel in love with Sakshi, to meet her again Jai manages to find that Sakshi works in a boutique and he joins there as a manager, where he gets all chances to meet her and fall in love more then before. They both were working on a upcoming fashion show which hits many applauds and they crack another Fashion show in Paris, where things gets to unwind and the romance starts, Sakshi's show wins many hearts in Paris as well, she starts to get more shows in foreign country and little did they both realise that their journey were going to part away soon. After returning from Paris, Jai starts his preparation for IPS and Sakshi gets busy for her shows. Will they meet again? Will they confess their feelings for each other?
It's clear that its a romance novel, but its a little different from others i guess. Characters were well explained. Fashion knowlegde of clothes takes a huge part in this book. Writing was beautiful. I loved the way the Author has express feelings with such cute little things such as tiny glances, feelings of being relieved by a touch, control of heart beat etc. I loved Jai's character as the way he looks at Sakshi with love, and Sakshi starting to feel about Jai.
To be honest, few things were left unexplained such as Jai's friend Vicky where he fades away soon enough, Sakshi's mother role where she is mentioned many times but the book didn't have enough information about her, but at the end she has a little role, Jai's family was explained more then Sakshi's Father (Sakshi's mother lives in abroad due to work). At start the pace was normal and slow, their Paris trip was dragged alot due to which the ending was so fast paced. In between there were few songs which i think was too much for a romantic novel and made my reading slow. But its a must read just because of the feelings in this book.
Life is all about choices & the decisions we take shape our destiny, future & the path that lie ahead of us. For some it maybe blissful, for others cruel. Some may think it's fair, others unfair. However, one must understand that - this is the law of nature. One has to abide by the game of life. No matter what one does or seek, this is the way of life, one has to accept it, respect it & cherish it for as long as they can.
Cover is beautiful. This is one of the main reasons why I ended up picking the book. The newsletters over amazon website (description) proved out to be quite useful. Purchased this book in no time. I'm proud of the fact that I'm a amazon buyer. The detailed information given over there never disappoints me. Hence, neither did this book disappointed me either. I was totally satisfied after I finished reading it.
Title is good, cleverly selected & justifies with the story at hand. It goes in accordance with the situations in which the characters have been enveloped together.
Theme is of friendship, love, trust, true love, happiness, joy, sadness, bond, relationships & many more aspects interconnected together.
The most interesting fact I loved about the book, though I'm not a big fan of romance genre, the book has been compiled in a very delicate & wonderful manner. The way the poetic touch flows smoothly from one line to another, from one paragraph to another was an incredible feat to be achieved. Every section of the book begins with a mellifluous attempt of scenic beauty, a vast variety of textures, gradients embedded in with the nature was a beautiful feat worth appraisal.
We'll get married here again, at one of the countryside churches.
Language is beautiful, smooth, easy, lucid & has a good flow to it. Narration is also good. The only thing that I didn't like about the book were the employment of hindi lines, shayaris & poems. It spoils the mood sometimes. However, I'm neglecting it considering the epitomic touch that has been given everywhere which satiated my taste of language.
Title: Tinkling of the Bell Before it Rings Author: Sonika Shandilya Format: Paperback/ Kindle Edition available too. Length:184 pages Synopsis: We don’t meet people by accident. Join their journey as they find out in the Tinkling of the Bell… Before it Rings. Review: The story is purely a romantic story. The author has a keen eye for details and the story progresses smoothly as the main protagonists make their way falling in love with each other. There are a number of cute moments spend not only between them both but also their families. Their romance across the novel is mesmerizing however at some point it seems very unrealistic and cliched. It seems like a Bollywood love story in print. The writer shows two different kinds of families in the novel and has done a commendable job in portraying them. The vision of relationships that the writer has in her mind is what I liked the most. The language used by the writer is clear and simple. The book makes up a short and entertaining read, however, I would not recommend the book to someone who dislikes romance fiction. Rating: 3/5
As an avid reader and someone who has grown up reading romance, this one just didn't strike a chord with me. Jai falls in love with Sakshi at first sight and begins the journey of loving her and supporting her, which is what the story is all about. It mainly deals with the conflict of choosing one's career over love and vice-versa.
The story is a simple love story with a happy ending. It's a little predictable and all too happy. If you are someone who loves the twists and turns within a story, then this book is not something you would reach out for.
I do like some depth to the characters in a story but I really couldn't connect much to the ones in this novel. I couldn't feel the love and romance and it felt a little superficial and a little too forced.
I have read a lot of romantic novels by Indian as well as International authors, but this one never really made me feel the tingling sensations which a lot of the others have made me feel.
The story flows smoothly but there's nothing exceptional about the characters, or the plot. The language used in the novel is pretty simple and it's easy to understand. It's a straightforward read and you can finish this book in about a day or so if you put in a few hours straight.
In conclusion, I would like to give this book 2/5, as the intensity of the romance, and the excitement within the plot, which this book was supposed to be about, was missing. I do love easy reads every once in a while but I still like to get hooked to whatever I am reading and this one just couldn't keep me engrossed.
You can give this a read if you're looking for some light reading. It is okay for a flight or a train journey, where you're just looking to pass your time and not get into anything too heavy.
ABOUT THE BOOK: This is a story of JAI and SAKSHI.Sakshi was a beautiful young girl who was pursuing fashion designing. Love had not happened to her. She accidentally met Jai at a movie hall who just completed his engineering from IIT . Jai was in love with sakshi and that love was love at first sight. And the story begin. MY VIEWS:- The best thing which i like about this book is the plot. One small and simple thing is explain in such a great way. For an example, if if you say this girl is very beautiful, but how....how will you explain that. These things are explained in a great way. Jai is my favorite character in this book. He is a man that every girl dream of.He is a definition of a perfect man that every girl deserve. In today's life its really difficult to find out such a good person. The second thing which won my heart was how beautifully the author portrays the family scenes. The way they live, the way they play , the way they share things, the way they are frank to each other won my heart. The way a mother take care of her husband and her two sons and the way all the three men of the house respect the women is just wao. For me this book was much more than a romantic novel. As every book teach us something, here are the things which i learnt from this book. 1)If you are single , don't worry enjoy your own company. You can watch a movie alone. 2) Its never too late for anything, just have patience. 3)This book made me believe that, don't stop dreaming. God had planned something for everyone, just wait for it. 4)If a man is reading this book,it will help you to be a good friend,a good son and a good lover too.
The story follows the love story of Jai and Sakshi who being complete strangers falls in love with each other at strange circumstances. It's love at first sight for Jay, whereas Sakshi is unaware of his feelings. Jay, who is an aspiring police officer starts working as a manager in a boutique in order to spend some time with Sakshi. Sakshi is to design clothes for an upcoming fashion show and Jay is chosen to help her throughout. Because of this Fashion show, they become friends and Sakshi starts feeling connected to Jai. She bags the opportunity to showcase her designs in Europe and she asks Jai to accompany her. While enjoying their trip in Europe they both confess their love for each other and promise each other to be together in every situation. Their enjoyment phase is short lived when Sakshi climbs the ladder of success and expands her business abroad and Jai has to prepare for his IPS exams. Their physical distance increases but their love was still alive. When Jai pops the question of marriage Sakshi is hesitant because she is at the peak of her career. Will she accept Jai or focus on her career? Will they ever marry?
The book is of romantic genre. The book is too cheesy for me. The language is easy and understandable. The plot was predictable but the story is worth a read. The book is fast paced and well written. The best thing about the story is that the book ends on a happy note and the thing that annoyed me are the Hindi songs which were inserted in the story. Overall it was a satisfactory read for me.
Tinkling of the Bell Before It Rings is a romantic, slice-of-life story by Sonika Shandilya.
Being an avid reader of multiple genres, this felt a little bland and kind of superficial in comparison to the other works I’ve read of the same genre. The characters were a bit too optimistically simplified for my certainly darker tastes and sadly, I wasn’t able to feel the connection I wanted to feel with them.
The writer’s writing style though is simplistic and lyrical with a lilt of mystique vibes to it. It was pleasant to read. Her vision of a relationship, her eye for detail and the beautified description were a sure plus point.
The lack of action and a deep plot though made it feel a tad bit draggy but that’s my personal opinion as some people might actually like the light, fluffy aspect of this work. It seemed like a Bollywood-esque work what with the songs and romantic cliches; Bollywood fans would certainly like to read this.
I would recommend this to the people wanting to read something light, who don’t want complex mind-boggling stories and just want a simplistic tale to read.
Name- Tinkling of the Bell before it rings Written by- Sonika Shandilya Published by- Srishti publishers Pages- 176 Ratings- 4🌟 Storyline- Jai, aspires to be a police officer like his father and grandfather. He is the loving son of his family. On the other hand, Sakshi aspires to become a fashion designer. They meet accidentally in a multiplex and this marks a start of a wonderful journey filled with love, romance, hope. What will happen to their love when they face a choice between their career and each other? (Read the book to find out) Review- ●The plot is sweet and romantic. A simple love story involving a couple who are poles apart yet fell in love. ●The description is easy to understand. The language is also simple and the concept is easy to grasp. ●The use of songs in the book gave a bollywood movie feeling. ●The narration is good except it felt a bit filmy at some points. Personal Views- I loved the exquisite descriptions of different destinations of Europe. There was a positive vibe and attitude in the whole book which was really good and worked well. If only the real world was filled with this much positivity it would have been great.
Cover: The cover of the book look very beautiful and dreamy sunset. Title: Title of the book is very melodious and tells you that how romance is starting to tinkle. Language and Narration: Easy language for any kind of reader and described in detail of the surroundings and the items of clothing.
Theme: Love, Romance
Review: It is a perfect love story without any ups and downs. It starts with Sakshi (Fashion Designer Student) waiting in a line for a movie ticket and after reaching for her turn all ticket got sold and Jay ( IPS Student who works as a part-time Dj) whose friend canceled the movie in last minute so he wants to sell his ticket and that is the point where they meet for the first time and fell in love with each other. And it starts their dream journey of love, getting closer and closer to each other in love. It describes so much beauty from the dress too beautiful and romantic places in Paris that make you lost in the dream. Drawbacks: If you like twists and turns you won’t find one in this love story it is the dream story that rarely possible.
Recommendation: I would recommend it to the lovers to get the inspiration from it.
I really liked this book. This book is a love story between a guy who wants to become an IPS officer and a girl who wants to become a good designer and how they fell in love while traveling around Europe!!💖💖😍 . This is just like every other love story but so much more. One thing I can say is that it was a delight to read this book. This book just so magical to read. Everything just felt real while reading this book. I did not connect much with the characters though.😀 It did had its own cliche movement like the guy fell in love at first sight but it was well done. I love the family dynamics and how the characters were driven towards their passion and goals. The best thing was the writing. It was lyrical and Majestic to read.😍💕 . Some part of the books focused heavily on Bollywood songs. So if you are a Bollywood music Lover, you will definitely relate to it. I am not so much into listening Hindi songs. So those parts were kind of meh for me.😅 . But if you are looking for an amazing love story to read which is light hearted yet has a substance of its own, this is the book for you!!!💕💕
"We don't meet people by accident. They are meant to cross out paths for a reason."
Cover and Title: Cover is beautiful and attractive, honesty I read this book because of the Cover. Title is good.
Plot: It is a story of Jai and Sakshi. Jai is an aspiring police officer and sakshi wants to become a leading designer in the world of fashion. It was love at first sight for Jai. It is a sweet simple love story, no drama, there were not any obstacles between them but it was dragged too much and it became boring to read.
Narration and Language: Narration could have been better, there were loopholes like sudden change in scenes, people and places and this was confusing. Language was good, one can easily understand.
Theme: Theme consist of Love, Friendship, Career, Passion, Love for Country and Family and Long Distance Love.
Overall: It was a good read for a beginners, sweet simple love story without any drama (which rarely happens in real life).
Avoid reading it if you are looking for some spicy love story.
The main characters in the book are Sakshi and Jai. The story starts when jai see sakshi at a movie theatre and falls in love with her there and then. They both are career oriented. Sakshi wants to be an designer and Jai wants to be an police officer like his father. After seeing her in theatre Jai decides to search for her and drops by at the designer store where she works and apply for the job there. Jai and sakshi are now collegues and have to work on a same project. You will read about the chemistry between jai and sakshi, how they become friends to lovers and both being career oriented what they will they choose between love or their careers, and how they manages these hurdles which will change both their lives to the core. The story was simple and predictable, i found nothing new in the story and i felt the story was streched a bit. For me its a one time read and recommended for teenagers.
About Book: Jai and Sakshi was just like any other normal strangers who were destined to meet over a movie. Their story was just so simple yet very beautiful. Jai have had everything is his life whereas Sakshi lacked motherly loved. Will they meet in future or they will follow their passions. To find it out read the book. 🌠Characters: The way authoress pulled her imaginations in weaving these characters were amazing and balanced. Each character was strong enough to speak of its own. But my favourite was Jai. 🌠Writing Style: The book didn't disappoints me when it comes to writing style and narrations but somewhere I felt the songs added in the book was not necessary but it's okay some might love them. 🌠Storyline: It was quick and simple. Throughout the book readers would wonder what's gonna happen next but the climax will make their heart sing.
Overall the book was book and I would recommend it to people who enjoying reading soft and decent love stories.
Jai is smitten when he has a chance encounter with Sakshi. And with some luck and determination he gets to work with her and falls in love with her.
They both come from different worlds, Jai is an aspiring Police officer, Sakshi wanta to be a Fashion designer. Jai's is a close knit family and Sakshi longs for her mother to come home someday to live with her and her father.
It's a very light, feel good book and a short read, you can probably finish this in one sitting, it's a smooth sailing book. The characters are in love singing and dancing, it's a bollywood story.
Sakshi longs for her mother even more when she experiences the joy and security that comes only with a happy family like that of Jai but she is insecure...,she doesn't want to have a marriage like her parents.
The things that didn't work out for me were the perfect family (Jai's) and insta love!! The perfect situations... Life is just not that simple I think.
It is the love story of Sakshi and Jai. Sakshi who wants to be a leading designer in the world of fashion and Jai, an aspiring police officer.
They meet coincidently in a movie theatre where Jai fell in love with her at first sight while Sakshi barely notices him. On the path of love, he became manager of her boutique and close friend of her. He helps her in her show infact he provides her full support and she gets a chance to show her designs in Paris. Blossoming their love, to which Sakshi was oblivious, they reach Paris, where Jai confesses his love towards her. Sakshi accepts his proposal. Their trip to Paris brings them close together. Sakshi gets many contracts for her shows in foreign countries. Their path parted after coming back to India as Jai has to prepare for his exams and Sakshi has to go on the path of being a fashion designer.
Do they remain as lovers or their love was affected by their careers? You have to read the book to know this and to go on a journey of sweet love story.
Good points : * Nice love story. * Well narrated and rightly paced story.
Recommendation : Who want to go on a ride of sweet love story.
Tinkling of the bell, before it rings is a sweet story of Jai and Sakshi. Where Jai wants to become an IPS and Sakshi wants to become an aspiring Fashion Designer. Ahh! The word 'designer' made my eyes twinkle when I started reading about Sakshi, as I am an designer too.
Story started with love at first sight and I loved that. But as the story goes, I felt that it has been elaborated unnecessarily at some points. The bonding between family has been shown beautifully.
Morale of the story is perfect: Career is important but be aware that you are not getting away from your loved ones and your family. Because, in the end you will miss all the lovable moments spent together. Career can give you happiness but you need someone to share that happiness too.
Cover is attractive and blurb is intriguing. The best part of the novel is its narration. The entire book has been written in such a way that the readers can imagine the whole scenario and feel like a movie going on inside their head. The lucid and picturesque writing style along with the poetic tinge makes it up to be a wonderful read. Also in the novel, author highlights the serious issues like maintaining a balance between love and career , not leaving your nation and loved ones for the sake of making money . Overall ,i enjoyed reading it a lot. It was a happy , feel good kind of a read .I highly recommend it to everyone. Though, its a normal love story but one would not feel bored while reading .Its a treat for all romance lovers.
Jo tha socha vahi to hua Jo na socha voh bhi hua Jadu yeh jadu kaisa hua Jadu nahi yeh to pyar hua.
"We don't meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our paths for a reason." ○ ○ ○ + ○The cover gives a happy, sunshine town, fresh breath of air, positive vibe. The book feels that way too. Nothing crazy going on here except stalking of course. -○Insta-Love, which is a minus point for me. + Has lucid, simple writing, which many people will find easy to read. - Bollywood romance. I have read so much books now that could be better as a movie. The book has poems and songs (the characters were singing songs which of course is in hindi.) - I just couldn't feel any connection with any character. + The scenes were beautifully potrayed.
