Olivia is discreetly watching her roommate and best friend Reese as he checks out the sexy bodies at the pool. When his eyes land on Carter Tyson, her Dad’s 35-year-old best friend, he sits up fast and asks her who he is. He carries on about the hot fireman and has Olivia laughing at his antics. As Olivia starts to daydream about Carter, Reese starts laughing as he realizes she is not immune to Carter’s charm after all! Furthermore, he recalls when she got drunk and confessed that she regretted giving her ‘V’ card to someone else rather than waiting for the guy she really wanted back home. He figured out that the dream guy was Carter! Her boyfriend came over to her, kissed her and grabbed her thigh right in front of her dad! He tried to insult Reese who effortlessly insulted him back and embarrassed him. Olivia knew Jonathan was not the one for her.
Liv goes for a hike in the mountains and has a problem with Jonathan who is making it obvious he didn’t come with her for the scenery. His actions and innuendo disgusted her and she grabbed a towel and headed quickly to the lake. Knowing he was out of shape and could not keep up, she felt safe and relieved to have him out of her sight. She decided she needed a cool dip in the lake. But he had followed her and watched her. She was furious that he spied on her and was preparing to join her in the lake. But when she angrily asked him to leave, he took her clothes. When a severe fire breaks out and she is in danger, Carter assures her dad that he will help look for her . . . and finds her in a towel. Both of them have feelings for each other, but neither wants to hurt her dad who will not take this kindly. What will they decide to do? Can Liv’s dad accept that they might really love each other, despite their age difference?
This was a fantastic book that I loved reading! The humor was great, and the characters were very believable together. (I think Reese was my favorite!) The author did a wonderful job with this story. They keep getting better all the time! Grab a copy and join the fun of an awesome read!

Livy has wanted Carter her father's best friend since she was 16 years old. Carter just notice how grown up his best friend's daughter is. Its a forbidden attraction and as much as they fight it the stronger it gets. Livy goes for a hike up to her family cabin with a friend Jonathon however he has other ideas. When she tells him to go back to the cabin when he sees her skinny dipping in the lake he takes her clothes with him. Naked and noticing how smokey its gotten Livy is stranded with no choice but to go back to the lake. Carter gets a frantic call from Livy's father and goes in with a team to look for her. What he never expected was to find her naked except for a towel. After getting somewhere safe they end up giving in to their attraction. Carter feels guilty for betraying his friend by sleeping with Livy and they both agree they want to come clean with her father. Things don't go as planned and Carter ends things with Livy. When Carter gets hurt during another fire he confesses his feeling to her father. Will Carter and Livy get her father on board for them to be together?
This was an amazing story I couldn't out it down once I started. This story has everything you could want forbidden love. hot sex and a little drama thrown in. If you haven't read anything by this author then this is the book to start with. Another five star hit.

I volunteered to read this ARC for a honest review. Let me just say it's hot.
Olivia is a young beauty who's dad is a fire fighter. Having just moved back home from graduating, she attends a party her dad is throwing for his crew at the department. Carter is his best friend and Livy has had a HUGE crush on him forever. But he is older than her plus he's a fireman like her dad, plus dad has rules about fireman being off limits for Livy.
Livy is dating a massive jerk, he's getting a little to physical for Carter's liking. After a blow up between her BFF and her boyfriend, her dad suggests that her and Carter get a cooler and I've from the basement. Being in close quarters with her, leads to a slip if his control and they kiss. A few days later Livy goes for a hike with Jonathan as friends and ends stranded on the mountain due to a fire spreading. Jonathan leaves her stranded without clothes, and leaves her and goes down the mountain to safety. Carter gets the call about the fire and Livy might be in the mountain. Upon finding her, Carter realizes the only way to keep them safe is to dive into a lake and swim to a underwater cave. With her being naked, things heat up fast. Feelings develop and evolve. Unfortunately, her dad doesn't like the idea of them together. So he calls it off. Both are miserable. What will happen? Can they survive this hurdle, will get Dad approve of their relationship? Got to read it.

Carter is a hotshot firefighter who is at a party hosted by his boss John. He sees a gorgeous girl there and is surprised to find out it is John's daughter Livy, who he hasn't seen in some years. Livy has crushed on Carter since she was 16, so now the sparks start flying between them. Carter saves Livy from more than one situation before they can no longer deny the smokin' attraction to each other. They both struggle with the rightness and the wrongness of their situation, but when lives are at stake, doing the right thing is not so simple.
I really enjoyed how much was packed into this little story! Lots of plot, great secondary characters (Reese needs his own story!), a bold h who knows what she wants, and a strong guy who knows what he wants to give his woman. Great read that will keep you engrossed from start to finish.

i read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book, it was a romance between an older man, Carter, and a younger woman, Livy. Carter is a hotshot fireman who works with Livy's father John. John is Carter's boss as well as his best friend. When Livy returns home after college to work as a photographer, she sees Carter at a BBQ her father is hosting for all of the firemen. Livy has always been in love with Carter, but he is older and off limits. Carter is smitten with Livy as soon as he sees her, but because of John, he knows nothing can ever happen with her. When Livy is in danger because of a fire that breaks out on the mountain where she is hiking, Carter tells John he will find her and keep her safe. I liked this story because the chemistry between Livy and Carter was so explosive. I loved Reese, Livy's best friend, he was so funny. I also liked that Livy was finished college and had a little life experience, she wasn't a naïve young woman. Great one!

A great great great read by Savannah May about an older Hotshot fireman, Carter, and his best friend’s younger daughter, Olivia. Olivia has had a crush on Carter since she was a teen and when she comes home after graduating school, he finally notices her. A great steamy read with a few laughs, some suspense, a few tears and a cave that I want to find for myself. I loved these two, the sparks, the attraction, the lust/love and finally the HEA that they both deserved. Only thing missing for me was the story behind Carter’s ex as it wasn’t explained, a sentence or two about her and why they split would have satisfied my curiosity. Otherwise a great read and I can’t wait for more of these Hotshot Firemen and their stories.

I am voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book that I received for free.
FILF starts out with Livy and her roommate Reese talking about his hotness Carter, who is her dad's best friend on the hotshot team. Reese figures out that Livy has secretly crushed on Carter and pushes her to go after what she wants now that she has graduated from college. Carter, after not seeing Livy while she was away, initially thinks Livy is someone he would like to get to know (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), not realizing it is his beast friend's, might I add 12 years younger than him,daughter. As the story evolves, the heat becomes scorching, in more ways than one. Savannah May knows how to deliver gut-twisting steamy romance with a taste of suspense. I am looking forward to more in the series (Stone or Hawk maybe????).

This is the first book I have read of Savannah May's and I was floored. I absolutely loved it.
Who doesn't love HOT FIREMAN. Must be why I like the show Chicago Fire and always liked Third Watch as well. But I digress. The story of Carter and Olivia (Liv) was entrapping. Once I started I could NOT put it down.
The steam factor....well you need a hot fireman to get out his hose and douse the flamed for sure. Cuz panty melting doesn't even begin to describe it.
Reese is a character that brought humor that only a best friend can.
I can't think of anything negative to say about this story. (I would have liked a scene of Jonathan's cum-up-pence though. That would have been sweet. If you are wondering what happened you will have to read the novel.
Hopefully its not to long of a wait for Hotshots Book 2 to be released.

Wow!!! “FILF” grabbed me from page one. I couldn't put the book down and read through the night. Beautiful Livy has been in love with Carter since she was a teenager. Carter, a HotShot fireman is John's (Livy's father's ) best friend. Livy and Carter haven't seen each other in years but when they meet at John's yearly barbecue the sparks fly. Livy is off limits because she is John's daughter, Carter is an older man and also a man whore. Also John never wants his daughter involved with a firefighter. How will they get passed these obstacles? Laughter, heartbreak, suspense, romance and hot steamy scenes will keep you entranced to the last page. A one-click must.

Holy hotness. Get yourself ready to get a bit hot and steamy. Liv and Carter's story is truly a great one. Carter is a HotShot in CA and a sexy one at that. He is also Liv's dad's best friend, works under him and is 12 years older than her. Liv is 23, graduated from college and is now home to start a new job. The chemistry between these two is hot, they've had a thing for each other for a long time but Liv was too young. Now that they feel the connection will they be able to have a regular relationship? What will happen to her dad and Carter's work and/or personal relationship? I also loved Reese who is Liv's best friend, he is hilarious. This is a must read so one-click today. Savannah May is one of my favorites and she definitely didn't disappoint with this read.

This was a steamy quick read! Loved how these two couldn't help their attraction. I did think that Carter gave up to quickly, BUT I understood his thinking. Olivia probably should have said something to her father between the break up and the accident, but I couldn't blame her for her reaction. Great read and hope there are more in this series!

A unique story that is well written. I like the storyline and plot. It made laugh a lot sometimes. But it has also got passion, drama, emotional ups and downs. The twists are unsuspected. Characters are well described and develops nicely. Great chemistry and hot scenes. A quick, hot, fun and romantic read. Sometimes the story feels a bit forced and lacks depth but still enjoyable. I like it has an epilogue. It is written in dual POV which gives the readers both thoughts and feelings of the main characters. I just love Reese and his character. He made my laugh my sock off.

This is the first book in the Hot Shots series. The book is an older man, younger girl romance and is hot and steamy. Olivia is the daughter of the fire chief and has always had the hots for Carter. Now that she's old grown up, he can't believe what he's seeing. He's fresh off a divorce and the man about town so he knows her dad/his boss won't approve. A great plot and captivating characters. Lots of drama and some steamy scenes and an well deserved HEA for these two. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

Holy Hotness! What a read! So hot my Kindle burst into flames! The plot was interesting though typical. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. Reese was hilariously funny! The chemistry between Carter and Livy was off the charts explosive! I will be adding this one to my personal Kindle library. I can't wait to read what Savannah comes up with next.....can we have Reese and Ben's story????

🔥🔥Oh Mama!! You’re going to need iced drinks and a fan for this one! Dang...this one hooks you from the first page and keeps you panting for more to the very end. Holy Hotness people this book put you in the need of a hot fireman. Dayum!! Olivia nd Carter give us so much to think about and those scenes...panty droppers! It gives people a little thrill in that forbidden fantasy. They make this story hot, sexy and oh yeah romantic. I can't wait to see what the next book is all about. You can't go wrong with Savannah May. FILF is a sexy hot read with firemen. Carter is Livy's dad's best friend. She has had a crush on him for years. Now she is am grown up and he his hot as sin. Too bad she is seeing that douche Jonathan. Well was anyway. She finally gets a chance with Carter but its not the ideal time. He shows up to rescue hellr and things get hot and heavy. Great read. Savannah May is an excellent writer and I enjoyed every word. This was an amazing read!!! This book is not what you'd imagine - it's so much more!! The characters are intriguing and have such depth, I liked them. Enjoyed the story very much. I love happy endings. I will definitely be looking for more of her work.

🔥😍🔥 FILF AWESOME !!!
Enjoyed reading this older man and younger woman romance story about Carter and Olivia. Older man, Carter, best friend of her father, Olivia is supposed to be off-limits but their attraction to each other that then morphs into passionate love along with a rescue from a devastating forest fire, made into a beautiful story. Totally recommend it 🔥😍🔥

It was decent.
2 stars because it was good but could have been better. The former manwhore theme is tired and overdone. I didn't like what John said at the end about playing the field. That doesn't fit his personality, plus that's gross. Editing needs work, and good lord that was an abrupt ending.

Books I like to read
I greatly enjoyed this book. It was interesting to read the various stories and see how the author has grown. She has always been highly imaginative. Will continue to read and review her books. Hopefully some more firemen are in her head as I particularly enjoy them.

Seductive and very sexy!
Firemen are hot to begin with but when your dad is the Chief, it is hard to get close to the one fireman you desire.
Olivia and Reese break the unwritten rules and get together. It is hard to go to work everyday when you know that you are screwing your best friend's daughter. Love conquers all.

This is great short older man/younger woman romance. It's very well written, has a fabulous plot, compelling characters and hotter than hot hotshot firefighters. Sweet and steamy, this story is a must-read!

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. Savannah, please tell me this will be a series!?!?! This book was short, hot AF and sweet! It’s well paced and has the right amount of drama and angst.
