2 stars but this story could have easily been 5!!

I didn't hate this story in fact the actual premise of this story is amazing and had so much potential, but........oh my word.......it was far too long, often too much about nothing and so so so repetitive. If I never read the words giggled, smirked, scowel and pouted again it will be too soon. Such a shame as this could have been an excellent story.

I received this free for an honest review.

I loved the premise and I was excited to read this one, but it ended as a DNF for me. The writing was amateurish and choppy. The verbiage was awkward. I tried numerous times to get into the story, but I just couldn't get past the writing style and issues. You may love it. Reading is subjective.

I really wanted to like this book.

It was a struggle to finish it though. The plot felt rushed and incomplete. The story itself read more like a rough draft of an idea that hadn't been fully fleshed out yet. I don't really see myself waiting for the next book in the series.

I liked the storyline for this book but the changing of the tenses mid-sentence was very confusing and made the story drag. It took forever to read. The concept is excellent once you get over the constant changes.

Summary:

Received for an honest review.

Juniper may be the child of the pack alpha, but her not having a wolf and being unable was the shame to her parents. The only people who loved her was her grandparents until the day she turned thirteen when she was forced to fight the boy her parents wanted to lead. The day ended with her grandfather dead by her parents hands and her in hiding with only her grandmother to guide her. Tragedy again occurred on her eighteenth birthday when he parents struck again leaving her grandmother dead and her on the run for her life. Even in the darkest moments there is a light at the end of a tunnel when Juniper found herself on the pack lands of the most feared and dangerous alpha alive, Mateo Santiago. Things are not always what they seem and Juniper may have finally found a home if she can find a way to help Mateo solve the curse on his family and into his very heart.

This story contains many unexpected plot twists that were both unexpected and fascinating.
There was many unique and famous characters that Juniper met along the way that added both depth and flair to the book. The story ended on a cliff hanger and I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Mateo Santiago
by Katlego Moncho
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Omg! What a fantastic book to read. This is such a entertaining, suspenseful and emotional story. I really enjoyed this story about witches plus their different kinds of abilities they can have. Mateo Santiago story capture my attention from the beginning to the end. Katlego Moncho has created some strong characters who become more interesting throughout story. This is my first time reading this author and this book is a very good beginning of an amazing series. I really look forward to reading more about Juniper and Mateo their friends and I can't wait to read about where their relationship will take them. If you enjoyed reading about shifters, Vampires, mages, wizards and all kinds magical people then this is a series you don't want to miss. I enjoyed reading this even though it has a cliffhanger. This story is full of suspense that put a smile on my face plus it brought tears to my eyes. The romance is everything you can ask for. The plot
has time to develop more as this book gives us background for Juniper and Mateo as well focusing on their love and mating. Juniper is coming into her identity and magic along with her wolf. She is strong willed and the type of character you will enjoy reading about. Now there is Mateo and Zeus which this character had me in awe of course you want to know how Well he can carry this story all his own! Well his one and my most favorite quality or trait that I love to see in shifters is the ability or way in which the human & animal sides converse, interact, their different personalities and how they co-exist together, if they even can! I mean talk about awesome. I enjoyed Mateo so much as counterpart for Juniper, they fit together really well and just made the story that much more enjoyable. Loved the action and the romance, well done The cliffhanger at the end is done great. I wanted to cry but at the same time I felt so excited. I definitely recommend this to everyone!!!

I loved and hated this book but holy hotness!
It started off really good but as the story continues I found the main characters very immature and that alone drove me insane.
I'm glad I kept reading as the characters mature and so does the storyline. Every so often the immaturity will come back in but with what is happening within the story in can be overlooked.
As Mateo Santiago will have you drooling and all that alpha.
This story will leave you with a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next installment.
I am really glad I kept reading, as overall I really enjoyed this story and in the end I was able to rate this story 5 Stars.

DNF

Got through 17% and couldn't read about one more giggle or shopping trip. Female characters were too immature for for me.

Read it

Read it but I don’t promise that you won’t have a broken heart 💔.
I just can’t deal with all the cliffhanger in this book I mean there great don’t get me wrong but there’s just so much that my heart can handle.
Let’s start by saying that I truly love every character, they’d were described in a way that gave them there own personality and even with the wolves having there own individual personality you never saw repetition or confusion between the characters or in between but I’ll say it again you really do did to prepared your self emotionally to read this book it takes you for a ride that you’ll hate and love at the same time and when you do read this book you won’t regret it that I can promise 😭❤️💔

Between us I f*cking love the cliffhanger I mean it’s great I didn’t know what to feel I didn’t know what to feel I was torn between crying for sadness and being excited to just know what going to happen next this is one of the best book I have come to read truly a power experience..

Honestly when i first saw its summary i was hooked but the cover and name made me hesitant, this was after it was downloaded to my devices. I began reading it at-least 2 days ago. (even thought it was in my library for at-least a week)It had me hooked since i started I seriously couldn't stop. I fell asleep reading this incredible story. It was full of so many surprises that i didn't even see coming. Its one of the best books I've read so far. I hate that i was left at a cliff hanger but it only made me more excited for the books to come. If there one question i have is that is Max really related to her or not, with all the times she's called him brother and her dad, dad i'm lost and if not how come more didn't appear about his parents.

I read this book because the blurb sounded interesting and it had wolf shifters in it. After the first chapter, I could honestly say it was as good as I hoped it would be. Considering it is long, I felt that I got a full story and not just the first part of a story that would drag over a few books. I liked the novel concept of talking to you r wolf and them having their own distinct personality. Plus pack members can talk to each other in their heads. Totally liked the story line and the few twists that showed up randomly. And Mateo and Juniper were a hoot. They were a blast and never quite knew what was going to happen next with them. Just a cool start to hopefully a great series.

Loved the book but....

I loved the book, such a cliffhanger at the end and, can’t wait to read another volume. But just a little my thoughts on the books that the Title it self is little confusing because you start to read the book on the mind keeping Mateo point of view but you get all most all story revolves around June, and she has almost all power which is kind of unbelievable and cool too to 😜 (since I want girls to be strong on all story I read which I kind of admire about this book) but that’s just about it.

Another week, another shifter story, again from Galatea. When you dive into these books, you usually know the kind of plot you’re going to get, and that’s perfectly fine. This one followed the familiar plot, with the main difference being Juniper’s magic powers, which added a little twist

Excellent. Five stars. If I could give more, I would.

I could not put the book down until finished. Disappointed that it wasn't a standalone book. Looking forward to the next one. Hopefully it is soon.

Ugh! The storyline was interesting but the dialogue was horrible! I felt like everyone was an annoying 13 yr old girl. They way they talked was horrible. It also dragged on. So many parts didn’t need to be there.
So many giggles & pouts.

Installed instafriendships

This book does not work on a feasible timeline. She can know someone for an hour and suddenly they are best friends. There is too much plot and not enough development. The story is different and could be awesome if handled with restraint and finese

What a great book. There was so much more to it than the blurb hints to. Warning it does end on a cliffhanger and I cannot find out when book 2 (or 3 since I believe it is a trilogy). I will definitely be reading the next book.

This was a very good story, it's one of those that once you start you can't put down. The only problem that I have is that it's a cliffhanger, and the next book is not out.

Disappointing with an abrupt cliffhanger

I enjoyed this book until it abruptly ended with a cliffhanger. I wish the author had at least mentioned whether book2 is in the making. Disappointing😕

Read this set of 3 books on Galatea. I like the relationship. The adventure was great, but jumped around with huge leaps that made me have to read back to see if I missed something. I feel like there should be a 4th book, but not available.

It started out great

It started out great but at about 60% through it all became too much for me. This could have been broken in to several smaller books.
