The Mafia and His Angel, Part 3 is a fantastic conclusion to Alessio and Ayla's story. Revenge, forgiveness, blood, tears, laughter, love, death, and new beginnings, this book has it all! If you've read the series so far and enjoyed it, you don't want to miss this one!
Ayla is free from the hell she endured at the hands of Alberto, but her mind is still being held prisoner. Feeling nothing hurts less than feeling everything, and Ayla has no intention of feeling anything ever again. Alessio does whatever he can to bring his Angel back to him, but as time goes on, it seems as if she may be gone for good.
Aside from taking care of Ayla, Alessio makes finding her captor his soul mission. He wants to make Alberto pay for the horrific things he did to the only woman he has ever loved. The task winds up being harder than he anticipated, and soon, he discovers that the man he is searching for has actually been hunting him all along.
The Mafia and His Angel, Part 3 is more violent, emotional, and heartwarming than the other two books combined. Watching Alessio torture the men responsible for harming Ayla is disturbingly satisfying. I think Lylah might have made it her mission to get us to shed tears with this one. If she did, mission accomplished! I teared up more than once due to just the side characters alone. It seemed like there was an overabundance of declarations of love in the story this time. However, if your loved one was put through the type of agony Ayla was, and you feared you had lost them forever, I think you might be feeling kind of mushy, too. Lol
I recommend this to lovers of mafia romance and fans of the series! Get your tissues ready, and enjoy the ride!

I have been delaying writing this review now for so long. When I got the ARC, I devoured it and then I read it again. I have a couple of favourite books that I always read them again and again and again, The Tainted Hearts Series will forever be one of my favourites. Bold statement but you know when you know. I knew the moment I finished this book, my world will never ever be the same again.
If you've read my previous review (Here), you know that I fell in love with Alessio and Ayla's love-story. The Mafia and His Angel Part 3 is a stunning conclusion to this beautiful series! Words will never be good enough to express the sheer emotions that I went through while reading this series! I feel like it sounds so frivolous when we, as bloggers/writers, say it's a brilliant book when we love a book BUT this series truly is brilliant! No one is excepting a literary piece of work here OK? It takes a great storyteller to write a book that will make it's entire legions of fan weep with the torrid of emotions that we go through!
Alessio and Ayla...Can we please take a moment and just sigh with pleasure. Their love is out of this world!
Alessio... Oh Lord! Alessio! Can we take a moment to appreciate this man? His persistence and devotion towards Ayla is.. Oh god!My heart can't take it! I just want to bawl my eyes out whenever I think about Alessio's love for Ayla. I loved how he could be so brutal and barbaric with others but turn into just a gentle man with Ayla.
Ayla, sweet-gentle Ayla, She is so beautiful and so brave! I felt her pain and sadness, her anger and betrayal. I am so glad and proud of her for overcoming the darkness.
The Mafia and His Angel Part 3 is a Damn good book! The first half is horrifyingly divine and epic!
Alessio is scary man! He is brutal, ruthless and fearless! Does it make me a sadistic person to 'witness' Alessio put the fear of God into Ayla's tormentors? maybe. Do I care? No. Those A**Holes deserved it!
If you've read the book or planning to read the book, You'll know the scene I'm talking about-
When Alessio shouted "I am your motherfucking King!" I swear I got goosebumps and literally responded "Hell yeah!!!!!" (Not even ashamed about that outburst. hahaha!)
On a lighter note, I could not stop laughing: To witness these powerful, scary, ruthless, mafia men panic at the idea of a woman giving birth! That scene was so hilarious and it made me so happy for this couple- to be surrounded by all these people who hope and wish the best for them just as we , as readers, do.
I have loved this series and I will truly miss their journey!But I know that I will forever be reaching into my bookshelf to re-read their story again and again until the day I die.
I was so nervous and scared to write this review because I loved this series so much and I knew that me rabbling on and on about the book will never be enough to express how much I loved it. But hopefully you will give it a try and be content knowing that your world will never be the same again.

The story started with a tender and loving scenes. Alessio rescued Ayla and how tender it is he takes care Ayla. Slowly restoring her memory, her body and finally won back her love.
Then the war began. This is where I see Alessio shows his true color. Once the war is over, that's where I got confuse. The story flipped into a silly, unnecessary plot. I am so baffle. What started a promising good story turns into.... flop.
I do not like the last 40% of the story. I thought Miss James ruins it for me. What started as good one then ruined at the end.
Overall it is good to see that Alessio and Ayla finally get their HEA.

3.5 to 4*
This truly is a book of two halves.
The first is dark as Alessio tortures Alberto, giving him a taste of what Ayla suffered at his hands. It makes for difficult reading as we’re there in the basement with him as he exacts his revenge.
He’s also fighting for Ayla, fighting to bring her back from the numb almost comatose state she’s retreated into. Ayla likes the numb nothingness, the dark where she doesn’t have to feel but the man with the beautiful blue eyes won’t leave alone and slowing he’s making her feel.
The second half is sweet and I do mean sweet. Alessio has found his Angel, his reason for living and there’s absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for her and as a result the second half of this book is full on romance at its best but be warned it might be bad for you teeth.

4.5 “I let her be my anchor, while I was hers” stars!!
Lylah James concluded this series brilliantly! I couldn’t get enough of Alessio. I already fell for him in book one and this love only grew as the series progressed. This book had everything I felt was missing earlier. EVERY. LITTLE. THING!! Ayla has been left broken by the devil known as Alberto and Alessio is willing to do anything to bring his Angel back to life. So while he hunts for the elusive Al, he works on reminding Ayla of the life they had and the life they could have if she lets them. His love was surreal and even Ayla’s pain couldn’t resist its charms.
What I LOVED:
🔫 Alessio was such a killer in this one! I loved how he tortured, maimed and massacred. I’m such a bloodthirsty wench!
🔫 Alessio’s heart grew three sizes in this book. I thought at some point I would get sick of how many times he said ‘I love you’ or waxed poetically about the wonderful and beautiful and destined for sainthood Ayla, but I didn’t. Was it beyond saccharine? Oh yes. But I was okay with it because it was freaking Alessio!
🔫 The stories and feelings of the side characters. I started to see a new side to Nina and almost liked her here. And Viktor… I can’t get enough of that man and hope to see him again soon ;)
🔫 The blood and the guts. I love how descriptive the author got with the revenge and vengeance parts of the plot. I told you… bloodthirsty!
I could go on but you need to read the book to discover these things for yourself. I’m sure there’s something you’ll absolutely love too!! #TeamAylessio

What a beautiful conclusion to Alessio and Ayla's story. It wasn't all unicorn and rainbows. There was pain and hurt. LOTS of it, but through all the darkness they were able to find each other's light and they held on tight to what they knew was true. This book was much more dark than the previous two imo. It needed it though.

Wow, Alessio was so much more than just the head boss of the mafia. To say he was overly caring and selfless would have been a contradiction, but it was the truth. For his Angel, his Kitten he was anything and everything she needed.
Ayla has been through hell and back. She was so brave dealing with it all and she had her savior with the blue eyes to always anchor her to his love.

Such a great trilogy! I will be continuing on with Viktor's story. He has intrigued me with his place in the family. I also hope to read that Maddie has her happy ending at some point. She is also a young woman who has been through too much hurt and deserves the love that only one can bestow on her.

Trigger warning: This is a dark romance series. It has abuse, rape, drugs, sexual assault, gore etc. Not recommended for readers below 18 years old and those who aren't into this subgenre.
I am keeping this review short. The conclusion to Alessio and Ayla's story is sweet and romantic. Justice has been served as Alessio avenged his angel. He changed as a person. He's still the ruthless mafia boss but with Ayla on his side, you can see his warmth and thoughtfulness. Such a guy full of heart to his family.
Ayla is a fighter throughout the series. Her strength and resilience was outstanding. She keeps battling her demons every single day and being loved by the people around her, she found a family that she never had. It keeps her going and she deserves nothing but happiness. I'm incredibly happy for her and Alessio.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I WANT NIKOLAY AND EVALINE'S BOOK. That saucy encounter makes me a nosy bish! Give me all the tea between them. I am skipping the novella for now and jump to the next book. I think it's Viktor's turn to shine.

Ayla is a fighter throughout the series. Her strength and resilience was outstanding. She keeps battling her demons every single day and being loved by the people around her, she found a family that she never had. It keeps her going and she deserves nothing but happiness. I'm incredibly happy for her and Alessio.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I WANT NIKOLAY AND EVALINE'S BOOK. That saucy encounter makes me a nosy bish! Give me all the tea between them. I am skipping the novella for now and jump to the next book. I think it's Viktor's turn to shine.

Part three in the Tainted Hearts Series so make sure you read part one and part two first.
So as soon as this hit my kindle I jumped on it and pretty much inhaled it.
I thought part 1 & 2 were great but Lylah pulled out all the stops with this concluding part of Ayla and Alessias story.
I absolutely loved this series. It’s a story that’s gonna stay with me for a long time.

This is a story to remember.Because it took of everything from me. It's the second time when it happens. Cry while writing a review! This series have completely stolen my heart and I don't want it back! What does this story done to me? I just say it's a before and an after Alessio Ivanshov. And it has happened just one more time. When I have read Real by Katy Evans. Aylessio's beginning took my breath away, the second part drove my poor heart crazy, and the end made me love more ( it that was possible. ) that couple. This is a golden read for me. I really can't put in words what Lylah means for me, how talented and incredible is this lady. To write such a masterpiece such a madly and deep romance it must to be a f****ing genius. this story I'm sure goes behind a dream, joy and happiness, tears and hopes. Gets a piece of her heart as well. To create such a breathtaking characters it needs not only an ordinary talent. Lylah is an angel herself, and an evil as well. And that evil side will make you fall hard and permanently in love with Aylessio. Everything in this series is perfect.EVERYTHING!!!! She thought of everything! From the main points of the storyline to the last and small details.( her dress or the way she create that name from other two) can't be more explicit, because it means to spoill the story of the Part 3.

Because love has no reasons. Their perfect chemistry and reciprocal dependence is endless and hot as hell. It's not just a physical thing is so much more. It owns their hearts and minds.
The highlights of the Part 3? Surprises, confirmations and some tears too! Don't worry it gets a happy ending. An a real good one! And then.....a sneak peek to what comes next. And let me tell you, it will let u speechless too. I can't say more, again.Just pay attention to the secondary characters of this story cause one of them reserve some surprises....and a huge secret! Without any doubt, they have been exceptional characters each with their problems, but they have known how to face it and create the wonderful couple they are. This book makes you cry at the beginning with anger and impotence, but also at the end with complete happiness. Alessio added to this book cruelty and revenge that seemed very important to me, and I needed. I swear if I read the words angel and princess one more time i’m liable to hurt someone. omg this was one of the worst trilogies I have ever read but honestly I needed a laugh so at least it succeeded there. but what the actual FUCK was this??!! seriously!! how are the ratings so high for this series??! Such an amazing and touching conclusion! Lylah James is a treasure and absolutely talented. This whole world she has created is so well thought out and gripping!
With the way part 2 ended I was DYING to get a hold of part 3 the wait killed me. I had such high expectations and they were all met. From beginning to end I could not put it down. Every scene had me feeling so many emotions.
By the end of this book Ayla in part 3 is totally unrecognizable. It's so hard to believe she once was that scared meek girl who was running away from her life. she grew so much and became so independent.
Alessio was different too. No longer the unfeeling, cold boss. He was now filled with laughter and joy. But don't get it twisted he is still mafia and is still that monster when need be.
I'm so excited for all the secondary characters in this book. Their stories are set up so well in these three books and I cant wait to see what the author does with them.

Este es un romance tóxico como la mayoría que están ambientados en la mafia, usualmente suelo dejar de lado el tema, porque entiendo que es una crianza diferente, algo que jamás viviré asi que no me suele interesar, solo me enfoco en la acción y protagonistas. Sabemos que para la mafia el machismo es algo normal y que,las mujeres solo sirven para verse bellas, proporcionar placer y ser incubadoras andantes. PERO AQUÍ NO. Ya es un abuso.
La historia vive diciendo que Alessio ama a Ayla como su ángel, en serio? Si alguien me amara así correría en la dirección contraria, le grita, le vive dando órdenes, no la deja ser libre, cree que hablándole bonito lo soluciona todo, y todos actúan como si el fuera un santo con ella, lo cual no es, aún sigue comportándose como un imbecil incluso después de todo lo que paso con Alberto.
Por cierto cuando Ayla dice que quiere que su luna de miel sea en la playa y el se niega, ella "lo convence", creo que la intención de la escena era verse romántica y manifestar el poder de ella sobre Alessio, pero sólo muestra el poco respeto que le tiene y que solo la amo por que es terriblemente bella, y eso te da a pensar, que cuando ella envejezca y pierda aquello que la hace hermosa, pues Alessio ya no estará interesado.
Ayla parece no darse cuenta de lo que pasa, yo lo justificó diciendo que es por todo su abuso previo, pero en serio, en serio, es una mujer en exceso lastimada y abusada, me chocó lo que le paso en el segundo libro, y en este es como si ya lo hubiera superado sólo con ver los ojos de Alessio 🤭 es tan poco creíble que hasta se vuelve risible.
No recuerdo cuántas veces dijeron que la bebé tenía a todos envueltos en su pequeño dedo, unas 50, tal vez? No me emociono como manejaron en asunto del embarazo, ni el trauma de Ayla, parecía que todo su tiempo siendo víctima de Alberto, ya no existíera.
Las novelas de mafia suelen ser muy machista y clichés, pero esta, es un mal exceso.
No lo aconsejo, hay algunas sagas más decentes, sin tanta estupidez por parte de los protagonistas.

So detailed, amazing imagery.
This was an epic final installment of Alessio and Ayla’s story. I had no clue where it would go but it was Mafia pure and simple. There was torture with vivid details so graphic that I was literally cringing while I was reading.
There was also redemption in the form of comic relief. Mafia men can be such wussies when it comes to women and babies. Of course you probably guessed for a HEA, there is also a Mafia wedding for Alessio and Ayla. What is really good though is the sense of family that you get with all the characters like Victor, Nikolai, Maddie, Lena, Lyov, Isaak, Phoenix and the rest.

The second half of this book was basically an extended epilogue whilst the first part had a lot of flashbacks again this makes sense as this would’ve first been released chapter by chapter on Wattpad and not meant to be marathoned in a few days. I feel like the 3 books definitely could’ve been a duet instead and I had to at times force myself to slog through it.

The Mafia and His Angel: Part Three = The Epic Conclusion

What a wild ride. I was a wreck after part two, and left with so many unanswered questions!! The third, and final, instalment in The Mafia and His Angel gave me everything; and then some. Ayla & Alessio continue to steal my heart. What haven’t these two gone through together?! I’ve really enjoyed watching their transformation throughout this series.

Turning the last page was bittersweet. I have so many favourite moments that I could never choose just one. Everything has now come full-circle, and you don’t want to miss it. This story is heart-breaking and beautiful, steamy and callous. My heart could not be more happy with this conclusion.

The story of Alessio and Ayla continues in the last part of this amazing series. This was a very enjoyable last book. It was full of revenge, violence and gut-churning emotions in the first half, while it was a beautifully written second half with lots of love, funny moments and a pretty long-making-the-readers-fangirl epilogue..

This series is one of my favorite Mafia Romance. If you are looking for a good balance between a Brutal and Sweet story with really good romance with relatively less sex scenes but more relationship development and character development scenes, this is for You..

A fairly solid ending for the series. Or is it? Gah... Way to suck us into the spinoff.
As far as this book went, I was pretty happy with the way things wound up. 3.75 stars.

Коротше, я ставлю 5⭐, АЛЕ, БЛІН, КЛЯТІ РОСІЯНИ, як це мене бісило, фууу.
Я звичайно читала, закриваючи на це очі, бо вони всі там такі класнючі і книга дуже крута, але тих три чи чотири фразочки російською в третій частині, так вже вивели, я хотіла за це забрати зірочку, кажу вам. Просто навіть у відгуку бридко писати саме слово "російською/росіяни" І т.д, чуть рвотний рефлекс не спрацьовує.
Погоджуюсь на будь-яку національність, але тільки не на кляту русню
Ну почнемо спочатку. Я не писала відгуки до перших двох частин, тому що у нас же ті ж самі герої і історія була не закінчена, але зараз постараюсь висказатись.
Чесно, сподобала ж цю трилогію, але як на мене, то можна було десь щось трошки скоротити, бо я вже ледь дочитувала цю останню частину. Якось мене трошки втомили, вже якогось кінця хотілось.
Алессіо прямо золото, хоча мені Віктор і Ніколай теж сподобались, і Фелікс.
Коли Фелікс поцілував Медді, Артур так зразу перестав подобатись, і не даремноооо ж. Не знаю правда чому і як Фелікс розбив їй серце колись, але надіюсь, що у них все буде гаразд.
Вони, Алессіо та Айла, надзвичайно великі молодці, що вірили в свої стосунки, та в один одного, особливо він, бо так чекав, шукав і любив. Якщо кохання, то тільки таке, як в книгах, це на замітку.
Так щаслива за них.
Це скло скляне, але з домішками щастя і неймовірних людей. (В моїй уяві вони не росіяни, тому я допускаю тут слова "неймовірні" І т.д)
